They say it’s free but you pay for a subscription like every other place does. So don’t believe that you don’t have to pay anything for birth control. It’s a line of BS.

Hi Jamie, Thank you for reaching out and sharing your experience with our service. My name is Kelsey and I’m a member of the Escalations Department here at Twentyeight Health. I apologize for this delay in response, but am happy to help clarify the subscription model we currently offer. At this time we offer two plans: the Standard Care Plan at $12.99/month and the Basic Care Plan at $0/month. The Basic Care Plan allows you to continue receiving your medication refills from our service at no-cost aside from your medication cost, however you would not have 24/7 access to your provider through our service. The only time you would be required to move to the Standard Care Plan is during prescription renewal, as this is not included on the Basic Plan. However, you can renew for just one month; and then switch to the Basic Care Plan afterward. This $12.99 covers the provider’s time to review your medical information and write your new prescription. For more information about our Care Plan options, you can also visit our FAQ page: https://www.twentyeighthealth.com/faq#Subscription-Plans Regarding medication cost, if you have insurance, including Medicaid, we charge no more than your insurance copay for the medications, which is typically $0. When paying out of pocket, our lowest cost medication is $18/per pack as noted on our website: https://www.twentyeighthealth.com/brands?srsltid=AfmBOoqwP3GwPsOvKzvecU4IW-ShtRhtMbquAoWDlzGk6PgFge_mHT4I I hope this helps clarify, but please let us know if you have any additional questions or concerns. Sincerely, Kelsey (she/her)

The problems started with 28 Health the day they took over my account from SimpleHealth and have been ongoing. They lost my account, my orders would get "stuck" for various reasons, they had problems with this, or that, or were running behind due to high volume of orders....all the way to them just deleting my account because my insurance suddenly didn't cover them -- and I called my insurance co to opt out of a savings plan, they confirmed they would cover my prescription, and I told 28 to run it again but they are too stupid to understand this. Customer service is ridiculous. It's always "we're so sorry, we can help BUT"...and then a gleeful hawking of things I do not need. And I thought NURX was terrible.

Hi there, Thank you for sharing your experience. My name is Kelsey and I'm a member of our Escalations Department here at Twentyeight Health. I want to first truly apologize for this delayed response as we were unaware many of our customers were using this platform to share their experiences with our service. We're committed to responding to all reviews, positive and negative, and thoughtfully considering feedback from our customers.
With this in mind, I'm so sorry to hear that you did not have a positive experience with our service during your transition of care from SimpleHealth.
As you mentioned, in 2023 we provided continuity of care for thousands of folks from SimpleHealth and The Pill Club when those companies wound down their operations. While not an excuse, this caused an unprecedented increase in volume and we completely acknowledge many of our customers experienced less than stellar service. We've since taken steps to add additional associates to our Care Team and have adjusted many of our processes to ensure we're providing the highest level of prompt, efficient, and seamless support. However, the inconvenience you experienced admist this transition is definitely not up to our standards, and I completely understand your frustration here. I’ve reached out to you privately through Reviews.io in the hopes of ensuring your concern was fully resolved. Sincerely,
 Kelsey (she/her)

Takes a week or more to hear back. The only way to contact them is via messenger and email (you cannot get a person on the phone as they do not publish their number intentionally, or they hide it well). They have issues applying manufacturer's coupons too. Lastly, I received an email my prescription would be delivered in 2-3 business days and it is going on 7. I emailed and sent a message about this (due to no phone number being available to call), and I received an auto-reply that they will "usually" respond in "under a week" (which is a lie, far from it - was over 2 weeks the last time I contacted them).
