The item I ordered was stated as being in stock and delivery within 2-3 day, which is why I used UK bathroom store. It took nearly 3 weeks for the item to arrive. It turns out they don't stock it and it was coming straight from manufacturer. I had to chase numerous times and never got a call back as promised. Wouldn't use again.

Apologies that you feel we did not meet your expectations on this order. I have had a look for you and can see the item in questions is not listed as in stock but a special order because of the finish that you have requested. We work hard with our suppliers to keep adequate stock of all items but in the case when something has to be finished in a special order coating we do have to quote longer lead times I am afraid. I will certainly take this up with our suppliers though to see if this can be improved upon.

Ordered Bauhaus chrome pipe covers to go over my existing copper pipes. They sent the wrong items and did not appear to stock the items they were advertising on their website. Twice I had to ring up to arrange collection only to wait in all day and no one turned up. Eventually they collected the third time of asking on the 19th March. Today is 7th April and I still have not received my refund. I have found this company totally incompetent and I would not use them again. Order no. 100055745 Collection no. 004447107

Product good quality. However, although the site said 'in stock, 3-5 working days delivery', the item took 8 working days to be delivered and 14 days in total. Customer services weren't at all bothered and offered no discount on the £15 delivery charge. Had to cancel plumber and rearrange works, which have now been delayed by 2 weeks.... Not happy!

I am sorry to hear that the order was delayed and that you felt our service was not as you would have expected. We did contact you shortly after the order was placed to let you know that the item would be delayed by a few days so apologies if this information was not received. We do advertise on the website that the 3-5 days is an estimated delivery time on this item as it's not kept in stock but is brought in to order from the manufacturer. Apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.

On your Web site you display the picture of the exact Kudos shower trap that was required Then send a completely different model. You need to review the website and display what you actually have for sale. NOT VERY IMPRESSED

Hi, apologies if the wrong item has been sent. We work very hard to ensure that our images online reflect the goods that we sell but from time to time the manufacturer can change the design without notification. We will be talking to the manufacturer about this to find out what has happened.

First off, when you send a "valued customer" an email, it's probably helpful if you include their name rather than "Dear (first name) (last name)" it doesn't make me feel "valued" at all. Secondly, it might be a good idea to inform your customer of a delay in receiving goods into your warehouse rather than let them call you to find out when an item will be delivered. When I ordered the items in early February, I was told that they would not be in your warehouse until the 19th. Although disappointed at the delay I accepted and paid up front. The 19th came and went and I heard nothing from you so expected delivery shortly after. Three days later having heard nothing, I rang your warehouse and was told you still haven't received them. When I asked why you hadn't had the common courtesy to call me to let me know of the delay, I was informed by a gentleman in you warehouse that he'd " been busy". The items were eventually delivered to me on the 1st March, some 22 days after they were ordered! Interestingly enough, the monies due as payment for the items was taken from my account immediately. Because of the poor customer service, staff attitude and overall complacency of your company, I will not be using you again. Kevin Rogers

Firstly many apologies for delay in getting your goods to you. I have had a look back at your order to try and see if I can see what caused this. I can see that initially we informed of you a delay in getting stock from this manufacturer which was promised to us on the 19th. On the 20th when this item had not arrived we rang the supplier to be told there was a further delay in getting this stock as it had been delayed at customs. There were several e-mails sent to this effect, one on the 20th and a further update on the 22nd detailing the dates of the new date for the delivery which was subsequently met. I can only apologise if these communications were not received and I will certainly look further into the conversation you had with us, I am keen to work out who you spoke to as customers are not able to speak to the warehouse and as such I will investigate this further. I am sorry for any inconvenience these delays may have caused to you installation.
