What is most impressive is that unlike many such la gauge programs, they don't start at the 3rd floor with preconceived notions as to what you know. The materials begin from the basement and work up like building a house. To me Ulpan-OR is the way to go if you want to learn Hebrew.”

“We LOVED Ulpan Or! We did four weeks this summer and learned a tremendous amount of Hebrew. (It was hard work, but we really enjoyed it.) The teachers, the materials, everybody and everything there was great! I'm now doing GDL online lessons back in the US, and I can't wait to come back to Jerusalem for more in-person learning. The one thing I would add that is not obvious is that, while Ulpan Or may seem to be more expensive on a per-week basis, it is actually much less expensive on a per-unit-of-learning basis than a traditional ulpan class, because you can progress so much faster (if you do the work), We can't recommend Ulpan Or strongly enough.”
