“I went to the St. Peter’s, MO store yesterday and I witnessed how an employee was poorly managed in front of me. I work in the HR/TA field and I’d have never allowed this manager treating the employee this way. Bad image for the store and for the company.”

“I went into Ulta in Mobile, Al and received the BEST service by Hunter Lyons. He is absolutely AMAZING. He made this older lady feel better and picked out the perfect foundation for “mature skin”. Thank you sooo much Hunter!! Keep smiling 😁”

“This review is of a stylist at the Old Spanish Trail location of Ulta Beauty in Tucson, AZ. I brought a picture to the stylist, who claimed her mother wore the same style her whole life. Anyway, the top of the hair was supposed to be long, down to the chin, with side bangs that could be pushed behind the ears. Then there was another short layer that barely went to the bottom of the neck. When my haircut was done, it was very short on the top, barely reaching an inch and a half in most places, especially the crown! The bottom portion of my hair went to my shoulders giving me a very ugly "mullet" style. This all from a stylist who claimed to have 28 years experience. I was so angry once I was home and washed my hair and realized what a horrible cut I received. I paid premium price for a good stylist, only to have received much better cuts at Supercuts. Of course, I immediately went online and cancelled the 6 weeks trim that I had already scheduled. It will take me a couple of years for my hair to grow out so I can finally get the damage totally repaired. It makes me want to never get another haircut once this mess is fixed!”

“Double charged me - spoke to 5 people there - they put me on phone with a call center in Jamaica it took 2 hours a clerk did a credit and it never posted”

“I placed an order online, but it got canceled for no reason. When I called customer service, they told me I could run inside the store and get it. This has happened before and they don't seem to understand that the purpose of ordering online is so you don't have to run inside the store and stand in a checkout line.”

“So I made a hair appointment, the stylist was very unprofessional when I went so she could look at my hair. She kept telling me how she charges an hour . Then today I get a call from one of the store manger she was also unprofessional. Ulta in Indiana has gone down hill bad .”

“I placed a order yesterday over $200.00 then today get a email for free products so I called to have this added to my order I was told NO I need to cancel the order wait 5-7 business days for my refund then reorder and add the free gift WTH really what kind of company is this Never again will I order from them Lost my business and will tell all my friends and family not to order from them either. Bye”

“I would give minus 1000 stars if I could.Ulta has double charged both my daughters debit cards on separate occasions. One for 400.00. The latest for 143.00. Sept 27th. They literally will not refund the double charges. It takes weeks and weeks and so many phone calls and emails. We still haven’t received the refund of the double charges 143.00 that they robbed us of. DONOT SHOP AT ULTA. Go anywhere else. If u must shop there and support these criminals, shop with cash only. DO NOT PUT YOUR CARD IN THEIR MACHINES.”

“I stopped into the Cornerstone Ulta in Centennial, CO today to find a red lipstick, and I can't say enough good things about Joey! Joey took the time to show me every red lipstick Ulta sells, and we narrowed it down to the one we both liked. I also asked for help with a foundation, and he color matched me perfectly. Then mentioned that I need white makeup for a costume, and he suggested mixing a white concealer with my foundation. I went home and tried them on, and the look is perfect! Joey is fantastic! Thank you for spending so much time with me.”

“I bought a very expensive flat iron and expected it to be in the box when my package arrived but it WASN’T! On top of that the customer service representative wasn’t any help. I work really hard for what I have and I don’t just have 200 bucks to throw away because Ulta can’t send people what they purchased! They sent the free item(blow dryer travel size one) but they sent it in a box that the flat iron couldn’t have fit in so that’s how you know they didn’t send it!”

“They continuously do not send the free gift I earn during the beauty event. It’s in my cart. I am supposed to get one and then I don’t . Then I call and they want ship the gift on its own. So they offer a 10 e-card . The fits is valued at $120. It’s a scam to get you to buy things. My daughter gets hers everytime and I do not and ulta refuses to make it right. I believe I am being scammed to buy things. I am sure I am not the only one. Fed up with Ulta”

“We had worst experiences with Ulta Beauty Manteca location 1) They don't show and help on beauty products for Indians 2) My Daughter had hair cut at Ulta beauty Manteca(Sep 15th) and Salon assistant is very rude and they have behavioral issues mainly against Indian community.”

“Carder @ the Wauwatosa location was a QUEEN! I was unsure of what I was looking for when it came to a new lip combo and she tested a few products out that would look great with my skin tone and we found the perfect one. She was so patient and sweet. Amazing!!!!”

“I recently went to the Germantown location to purchase some products; lashes and a few lip glosses. In the attempt to get assistance putting my lashes on, I asked if that was offered and the nice lady for MAC went to see if it was offered, well the Manager and assuming her assistant, immediately with the rudest tone, NO MAAM! I said it’s okay and it’s not the end of the world so I’m good. I walked over to the Anastasia counter to get help finding a lip liner for my lipstick and saw those same two ladies following me around the store to ensure I wasn’t asking for worker to do my lashes. I’ve never had this experience in my entire time coming there and I’ve asked other women who go to Ulta about this location near the Ross across from Kohl’s and they’ve have all stopped going because of the rudeness, unprofessional behavior. It’s really sad because we spend too much money at this place to deal with this attitude. To the young lady following the managers lead, you should probably find someone else to follow because if this is what you believe customer service is, you’ll never find work anywhere.”
