Worst experience ever in store and online . A cashier returned my item I ordered online with a receipt as a non receipt return . And the manager couldn’t undo what she done . I was there for a hour and half with my 2 year old ( imagine how that was ) and the issue wasn’t resolved manager said online will send me a gift card for the amount . Week and half later didn’t receive email they said it was denied. I had to explain what happen again and they told me to go into store and next day went to another manager who said on the phone a day before she can get it resolved. Waste of time because she couldn’t even help as well . Online open case again and when I received my gift card for the cashier error she did my ULTA online account was closed so I can’t order online no more . Reached out to a supervisor online and they told me it was because I open a case for the gift card ( which didn’t make sense it was my money that wasn’t returned). And I can only shop in stores for now on. I will never shop with Ulta Ever Again. And I also had an issue 2 years ago with missing items from order.

I had an experience of being abused by a manager at the ulta store off capital blvd. On poyner place in raleigh nc. She was abusive, angry, unreasonable, and attempted to embarrass me in front of other customers. I asked for her name and she refused to give it to me. In the parking lot afterwords, a woman asked if I was ok and we agreed we would not shop at ulta anymore after that. I attempted to contact the district manager, since it was the manager being abusive, and got obfuscation by an Indian call center. I was never given access to make a productive complaint that might address damage being done by this woman. I can buy everything I have ever bought from Ulta directly online and will do so from now on, as will anyone who cares to listen, no doubt. It’s a shame they are so bad at customer service, even as their stock is falling.

I have had nothing but trouble with Ulta Beauty and especially the online customer service. Tonight I called because I have been wanting to make a purchase on the app and every time I try, it gives me an error message no matter the way I try and pay. I called customer service and absolutely no help. I tried going in the store today but only one person working the checkout and huge line so had to leave. Salon prices are extremely pricey. I wish they actually cared about taking care of their customers.

I have been a customer 15+ years. I recently placed an order for cologne set and perfume. I used $120+ in points and the rest on my card. The package was opened and label was torn and had to be reprinted, label clearly states that as well as tracking. When I received the perfume was gone and one cologne was taken from the set. I reached out to ulta and was told the shipment weight was correct when it left and they couldn’t help. I wasn’t disputing that, clearly after it left it was opened and items were taken and the label was reprinted. I’ve spoken to multiple people and don’t get a response or they just say they can’t help. They just stopped responding on Facebook messenger after being told "thank you for your understanding" I will never order from ulta again.

El día de ayer fui a la tienda que queda en la 6775 Eagle Watch Dr, Orlando, me trataron muy mal, fui a comprar un perfume entonces pregunté que donde estaba y me señalaron la vitrina el mismo producto decía tener un regalo por su compra a lo cual pregunté cuál era el regalo me dijeron no sé en la caja saben , me acerqué a pagar y le pregunté a la señorita la cual me dijo que no sabía le pregunto a la compañera de alado y ella le dijo cuál era el regalo , no pidió que la esperara , nada se puso a buscar en las estanterías que tienen detrás de las cajas , estaba molesta , decía yo no encuentro , se acercó y me dijo el valor que tenía que pagar , y le pregunto y el regalo me respondió de manera muy mal educada que no encontraba y yo le dije que en este caso que se puede hacer y de manera burlona me dijo nada , no hay , le dije que quería hablar con la manager , la llamo , está de acercó , ni me saludó , me quedé con el saludo en los labios ni me miró , no me preguntó qué pasó , nada , buscó en las mismas estanterías y encontró , se lo dio a la cajera y ya !!! Pésima atención , tengo la tarjeta desde hace tiempo y no me dijo de mis rewards 🥹

I booked my appt for full highlights at 10:15 and i waited for 30 mins. i took from Elite level to get better results. Price was showing while online booking $177z I was told it might require extra time so for extra 30 mins beyond 3 hrs it would charged extra 65$. it took 3 hr 15 mins. I was charge extra for all 30 mins 65$ in 3 hrs so i was forced to pay 6 time 65 which is $390$ instead $177. she said i got major transformation package but i dont see my highlights at all forget about major.

I had a minor shaping cut done, left with wet hair to air dry (took about 10 minutes to cut, a curly cut was done) and when I called back 10 days later to ask for additional tweaking as the cut wasn’t tapered enough (as requested), was told I’d have to pay in full again as there’s only 7 days allowed for adjustments. I wasn’t told of the 7 day policy and wash my hair weekly so wasted my money including the generous $45 tip I left. Customers should be informed of that policy and from a customer relations perspective, an exception should have been made. Surely won’t shop there for any reason again.

I recently purchased the Valentino Donna Born In Roma Eau de Parfum 2-Piece Travel Gift Set what was sent to me clearly was not the one I purchased. Customer service explained to me that they ran out of the regular one that I purchased and I saw on the website. Instead of being notified of this change and asking me if I still wanted the item they just sent it. When I asked her about sending the correct one that I saw that I purchased she said they were still out. She said she would refund me or give me a small discount. This is giving deceptive ways behavior. No way that you let all these people purchase this and all of a sudden you run out in the beginning of having a promotion and send something else. Everyone should be compensated for this.

I am a Diamond member and Ulta send me Serovital hair vitamins that are expired. They offered nothing for the inconvenience of having to return them. Sending expired vitamins is inexcusable. I LOVE how they are like congratulations you get a refund! 🙄

After placing my order during awesome sale this past Sunday. Their bootleg delivery service returned my package and I was sitting waiting all day for my delivery today. I got an email saying refund initiated. WHAT??? Now they will not reship it correctly and honor sale prices. This is why I shop SEPHORA! SHAME on Ulta.

This approach felt deceptive and disrespectful of customers’ time and loyalty. As a Platinum member, I expected transparency and integrity from a brand that positions itself as customer-first. Instead, this experience has significantly eroded my trust in Ulta and directly influenced my decision to stop shopping with the brand. As a result, I am requesting the following: A formal apology acknowledging that the messaging and execution of this campaign were misleading. A clear explanation of why non-influencers were invited to participate in a registration flow that was never intended to be accessible to them. A commitment to a policy change ensuring future marketing communications clearly state eligibility requirements and do not place customers into false queues or dead-end registration pages. What could have been an opportunity to strengthen customer relationships instead demonstrated a willingness to mislead loyal customers for engagement metrics. Until this issue is meaningfully addressed, my loyalty—and business—will remain elsewhere. I hope Ulta takes this feedback seriously and uses it to improve how it communicates with and respects its customer base.

Horrible . The store in Waterbury ct is very unprofessional and they greet only select guests . I received a broken product and much return was not accepted . It was over $200 and an expensive hair dryer . They do not have a fair or legal return policy . They lost a customer for good.

I have always kept my account in tact and made payments on time. I had used the card in September. When I made called to pay the FULL balance off in October to have a ZERO balance, the agent assured me that it would take care of everything including the charge for paying over the phone. I made it very clear and repeated it several times that I wanted to make sure there would be a ZERO balance and the agent assured me that that was the case. I paid and got my confirmation number. Fast forward to December 26th….”CCB calling in regards to Ulta Beauty mc to avoid continued efforts to resolve this matter”….When I called I was informed that I owed over $84 and it was past due. I asked how that was possible as I had paid the entire balance off including the fees for paying over the phone and had not used the card since. The agent kept talking in circles saying that there was interest. I reiterated that charges incurred in September and the minute the bill arrived I called and paid the balance in full. Agent said there was residual interest. I asked how that could be possible when I paid in full prior to due date. The explanation was unacceptable and I requested to speak with a supervisor. The supervisor was not understanding and I was getting extremely frustrated. I am extremely disappointed and feel that the charge was totally unjustified!!!! Paid in full with ZERO balance means ZERO BALANCE!!! Customer service is not what it used to be, issues got solved in a satisfactory manner. Not anymore 😐 it’s very disheartening what extent these companies will go to to make the customer continually pay more, while providing less services.

I shop at Ulta, in Harlingen, TX. I had to return an item and received horrible customer service from cashier Nancy. She was extremely unkind! She was truly horrible! I then received assistance from Jorge. Jorge changed my horrible experience to a very pleasant one. Jorge was truly very kind, knowledgeable and really turn my awful experience into a joyful one. I would never want to interact with Nancy again, ever!!! Awful person!

Usually when I go to Ulta Beauty the cashier always check the points I have available to use at the moment and let me know about any coupons available to use, but today the lady, the cashier, did not offer me any discounts or neither suggest me to use the coupons available. I had to ask and then she said yes if you have an app or if you received any emails. Like what!!! Really!! My purchase was almost a $100 total. I saved some money because I was paying attention.

RATING IS ZERO! ZERO!!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! STAY AWAY!!! The Rainbow is what I asked for. The other pictures is what I received along with a ton of missing hair - broken down to the roots; to be ignored by Corporate, to be treated horribly by the Store - Most of management is not apologetic nor do they care - District Manager will not call me back, nor does sending emails do any good whatsoever. If you are dumb enough to have anything done with your hair at Ulta - you get what you get and it's on you! I am missing over 1/2 my hair and if you blow up the pictures of the Platinum Blonde, you can see for yourself. It's been over a week and no one has bothered to call me. I guess at this point, it is going to be complaining to the State of Texas, and going after Licenses and a lawsuit because I'm done being ignored!!! Please view all the pictures! The last picture with the overwhelming super dark colors and hair so saturated with color that it made a mess everywhere, made the burned and blistered Scalp and Ears worse and took over 3 hours to wash out with cold water and clarifying shampoo after the first 2 hours of just cold water. DO NOT GO TO ULTA! FIRST OFF, THEY WILL NEVER APOLOGIZE FOR MESSING UP YOUR HAIR, AND THEY WILL IGNORE YOU WHEN YOU ARE UNHAPPY! THIS SITE WILL NOT ALLOW ME TO ATTACH MY PICTURES - PLEASE CONTACT ME.

Terrible online ordering. When you order the item says it's available. Later you get an email that one item isn't available. It screws up the sale prices you shopped for and end up paying shipping cost because of this. I suggest never ordering online! Oh and they can only cancel your order within an hour of placing it.

I tried yo return a purchase if the get dreamy product and they refused to give me back the money. The product itself guaranteed to use it and if not satisfied you get your money back. The sales girl at ULTA even said same to me before my purchase. I took it back and they said it was used. YES IT WAS !! How else would you be able to see if it worked or not. The CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE!!!!! They do not stand by their products and from other reviews i see I'm not alone! They will not get on the phone with you,,,,,,
