I went to get a full highlight foil, platinum blonde, and I come out a dirty ash blonde this was at the San Marcos, California location. Three months ago prior to that I went to the Oceanside location and the same thing happened. It’s not the toner they’re not using the right developer or the bleach. I have been going to Ulta for many years. I am completely unsatisfied. I paid $225. That includes a tip and I am not happy. I work a full day to make that amount of money Amber who did my hair she was kind and sweet. She did do a lot of work, but she clearly did not get me. I brought pictures of how I’ve had my hair done in the past for the last 25 years. I’m actually taking this to corporate and I’m going to demand my money back and I’m gonna fight hard because I’m tired of getting screwed over by people that don’t know what they’re doing. I added a photo of how my hair is platinum blonde and I come home a dirty blonde.

My online purchase came with a free gift. After I place the order for delivery, I noticed the gift wasn’t included in the order anymore. I contacted Ulta and they said I needed to to roll something in the checkout to say I actually wanted the free gift. They refused to give it to me. They refused to let me come pick it up in the store. They said because I didn’t toggle something at checkout. I’m out of luck horrible horrible customer service I can buy my make up cheaper other places and I really didn’t want to order anything for delivery. I ordered it because there was a gift that I didn’t get I spent an hour of my workday on the phone with customer service only to be told too bad sorry for the inconvenience.

The customer service staff on the phone is useless. I have been a member since 2009. They linked my daughter and my email and phone numbers and are not capable of unlinking them. Very disappointed in their company. Have called multiple times and there are no supervisors. And there is no IT department. Shame on the CEO. And the staff in store can never help.

Happy with my hair at the New Bern NC Ulta but not the moldy walls where the wash station is! The walls are taped with what looks like packing tape. This is an immediate health danger. I have allergies and am highly allergic to mold. This is unacceptable for client's health. This needs to be repaired right away!

Terrible customer service! I took a defective item back to the store which I purchased on line for an even exchange. And they made me pay the tax even though I had already paid tax when I purchased it! I tried to call customer Service but they were no help

I ordered products on sale and could not get the payment to go through successfully. I texted and called the customer service staff and was assured they would have it corrected within 48 hrs and the sale prices would be honored. I contacted them again after 4 days and got the same runaround. They told me to enter another card...try again. All the things I tried with the first representative i spoke with. Then told me the again it had been escalated. I looked at the bag of products and the prices had doubled as they were 1 day beauty steals. I've never encountered such poor customer service from a company. I'm uninstalling the app and shopping at sephora and other places in the future. It appears that their customer service reps are offshore and sending pre-written emails and reading from scripts.

I love the products, but the credit card Ultra provides is difficult to pay. The company to pay is Comenity. When you try and pay by a debit card, they ask for a phone number and NONE of the numbers you enter works for enrolling online payment. It is ridiculous!! You have to give a phone person your social security to get it paid or add it to the website. I don't know about you but giving my social to a complete stranger is NOT going to happen! I cut up the card and will no longer use it!

I ordered the Very Good Girl Glam Eau de Parfum online from Ulta Beauty, but I only received the free gift. I've called, and I was told to wait 24 to 48 hours for a call back.

Horrible! Had a receipt and still couldn’t return an item because I didn’t have an account! I will NEVER purchase any thing from ULTA again. Never!

I had a horrible experience at Ulta! I went in to get a haircut and dye my hair. When Jenna put the dye on my hair and two minutes later my scalp started burning. I let Jenna know and she just handed me a comb. After 30 minutes later Jenna washed my hair and it was burnt. It smelled burnt. It took me months to get a refund. They advise me instead of getting the refund to get a gift card and purchase stuff from their store to fix my hair but in the end they knew they were wrong and I ended up getting my refund.

Bait and switch for the buy 1 and get 40% off of 2nd item. Gave the 40% off of inexpensive items even though had 2 of each and full price for the 2 more expensive items. Very deceitful. I will never purchase another item for ULTA again. There’s nothing they have that I can’t purchase elsewhere and rest assured I will purchase it elsewhere from now on.

I placed an order online and every time I checked the status it was waiting to be shipped. Of course they took my money. I tried chatting with them and they stated I had wait 8 days. Next time I will order their products through amazon. I'll get it right away and if not, they will at least make good on it.

If I could I would give a zero for the Ulta store located in Hickory. When I ask about a National sale for Black History month I was told that it was only offered for certain products and that it was unfortunately only for Associates when I knew it was a lie because my daughter works at Ulta in a different location and all customers there received the discount deal that was promoted for celebrating Black History Month. But I’m not surprised to not be told the truth.

The associates do not abide by their own return policy as stated in their website. I can’t shop in a place like this. FYI you can get 99 percent of this stuff cheaper in Walmart and target.

I had a haircut with Claritza almost two weeks ago and my hair was totally butchered.This after showing 3 different pictures and neither one was what I received. Sadly I am the one suffering with this horrendous chop job. The manager was kind enough to compensate me, but that doesn't help me with my current situation. I now have to have this mess taken care of with another hairstylist. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Buying products is one thing. Salon is another story. Bad beyond words.

Today I asked a salesperson for help, and described what I was looking for. I hoped with his cosmetic expertise that he would be able to point me in the right direction or at least help me narrow my choices. He showed me 1 one pink lipstick, and he tried to put the product in my hand. I said politely that this as a nice color but not for me. Then he went on to say that what I was describing and what I actually wanted were two different things. Or maybe should we say YOUR INTERPRETATION is different than mine. Let me add that he dropped the lipstick 2 times as well, and had just cut himself. He told me I should play, play in the store, and that I could play for hours, but that he was NOT. This was in front of customers and 2 other make up artists. Needless to say I found help elsewhere with a wonderful woman and left a the store with 4 high end products. I have been using this location for a long time, however will never ask this man for help again. He was an ASSHOLE.

Double charged. Have provided all documentation that was requested. Three months later and they will not refund me. Customer service is no help. North Olmsted OH store. Manager was extremely rude and condescending.

Placed an order in person at the local store. It took longer than expected due to weather when it was finally delivered it was just tossed into the driveway/side somewhere I went up and shoveled even though you can easily see the grass. Still no package to be found. Go to the local store where they will not help me and give me a phone number I call and they will reorder but not expedite it so I have it for my granddaughters birthday that’s in 5 days. Poor ass service. And now it won’t let me post pictures on this review

I had a truly terrible experience at Ulta located in I Tamiami Crossing 13100 Tamiami Trail East Suite 101 Naples FL 34114 US .I was using three gift cards to pay for my purchase, and the cashier initially assured me that everything would be fine. However, after ringing everything up, she told me the system wouldn't allow her to process it and asked if I had cash. She then called her supervisor, who took about five minutes to arrive. Instead of addressing the issue calmly, the supervisor gave me a speech about how using three gift cards wasn’t allowed, which could have been communicated to me from the start. I was frustrated, especially since neither of them offered an apology for the inconvenience or wasted time. To make matters worse, after fixing the issue, the supervisor again asked me if I had cash to pay the remaining balance. It felt incredibly disrespectful and like I was being treated as a problem rather than a valued customer. I even overheard them mentioning that this had happened before with another customer, which made me question whether this is a common issue at this location. Overall, I left feeling unappreciated, disappointed, and frustrated. I won't be returning to this store again.

I hate when companies bait and switch. I had a coupon and read every line and word twice for the items that I wanted. No mention of them at all. I could have ordered them from Amazon and gotten it quicker but wanted to use the coupon. It was over $100 of Clinique items and the cashier said I couldn’t use the coupon because the items were prestige. Have no idea what that has to do with Clinique. They have permanently lost a customer. I know Ulta doesn’t care but wanted other customers to know that your coupons probably won’t be honored and you order from Amazon.
