Ulta salon, north Olmsted. Stylist is Areej. Never go there! Areej did a terrible job with my hair extensions. Claimed she had done a ton before, but in fact her skills were marginal at best. Sewed 4 weft and stitched them to my crown. Placed 2 stitches in my scalp. I had several bruises due to her roughness. I was there from 1:30 to almost 7:30. It was an awful experience. She ruined the hair wefts. Will never go back to ulta. Dee Weber

I went to Ulta in Greenville, RI for a haircut. She asked me if i wanted my hair washed. She cut hair across bottom back, then asked if i wanted my bangs cut. It doesn't feel like i had a haircut. She charged $42.00 and said she usually charges $62.00. First and last time at Ulta.

I think it's ridiculous to have to pay to have my hair dried after a root touch-up. $66.00 for a root touch-up from a junior stylist. Then another $25.00 to dry, plus a tip. This is my last visit! She did a good job, but not again

I tried to use a gift card in the store and the girl checking me out peeled off my gift card number from the back of the card but it ripped the number off so I couldn’t use it. They said there was nothing they could do so i had to call customer service. I called and got the runaround and was was even disconnected at one point and had to call again to start over. Finally, someone said they would re-issue me a new card after I sent them a picture of my old one. I did immediately and even got a response that it was received. I have been ignored since. I haven’t received the new gift card. I even sent a follow up email asking about the status and have even ignored. I called and kept being out on hold and nobody comes back to help me. It’s the worst customer service ever. I have this gift card I can’t use be due to another ulta employee and I can’t get customer service to help me and feel like I was lied to being promised another card.

I bought Versace perfume from Ulta Apple Valley MN for $138 only to find out Sam’s club, just in front of this specific Ulta, is selling the same perfume for $58. They rip off customers!! Do not buy perfume from Ulta!!

Went into get a gloss treatment I wanted to go a little darker than my natural hair color and the color came out okay but during the service the girl was in a rush the entire time she made a mess with the dye she stained the back of my top with the color and didn’t even tell me I didn’t notice until I got home that the top back part of my shirt was stained and she was so rough with my hair ripping through my long hair with the comb and brush she literally showed me chunks of my hair that she ripped out of my head. Then she put me under the hair blower and she set the temperature so high it burnt my head I literally had to move it up away from my head, She also was way too hard washing my hair and pulling it. Just was not gentle at all and pulled out my hair… I had a bad headache afterwards definitely not going to her ever again. I booked her because online it said she was a master stylist so I thought she would be experienced with hair and know how to be gentle but no she was so rough on it.

I had bad experience with Madeleine at Hollister Ca Ulta , she was new my other hairdresser Olga ( outstanding worker) was on vacation, she I tried this girl Maddy , she was nice first , she did color touch up on my hair , the color she put on my head did not take the grey was still there . And this girl maddy accused me of taking medicine that’s why it didn’t take , maddy said, she was extremely rude to me . I was not happy with her ugly remarks . She is not professional . Very unhappy ☹️

Forget you, Ulta. Thanks for not representing actual women. Even when women finally have places and platforms, men come in and take over. Way to buy into it. My daughters and I will find the products we usually buy from you elsewhere, where women are actually supported. I don't appreciate being mocked.

Sales person walked by me. Had a conversation with co-worker while I stared at her. Finally finished and asked to help me. Found the product quickly. Got in line to pay. Person at register couldn't find something in her phone--coupon? password? I don't know. Went on and on. Finally found it. Register froze. Started again. Clerk asking for additional help. No response. Next person in line getting checked out. Customer walked into the store and went to the far end register. Another quest for help by the clerk. Co-worker walked past me and on to the person who just walked in. I alerted her that I'd been waiting. She apologized and came to me explaining that she didn't know and just walked up to help. Ever heard of "who is next"?

Ordered $50 worth of merchandise and they still charged me for shipping. Tried to cancel the order (you only have an hour to cancel) and they gave me the run around for an hour till it could no longer be cancelled. Then they said they would refund me the shipping fee but I am so furious with being jerked around by these guys I am taking my business elsewhere from now on. Thier reviews are so bad Ulta somehow does not allow for Google reviews to be written anymore

Ulta Beauty does not hire older women, they discriminate on age no matter what your knowledge is. They would not hire me solely based on my age.

Normally I love Ulta, however, my last experience with them was a huge let down. I purchased a hair styling tool that unfortunately wouldn’t turn on. I took the tool back a week later to exchange it for the exact same thing. I was informed though, that I would have to pay over $50 extra because the item was no longer on sale! I could understand if it was something different, but it was literally the exact same product. I’ve never ran across this policy at any other store. Do better Ulta.

I’m extremely disappointed with the CONSTANT cancellations at Ulta located at 40460 Winchester Rd, Temecula. Every single time I schedule a SKIN appointment, it gets canceled last minute because the person is sick; I book months in advance because I am out of State. I think the attention is focused on their local clients (which I understand) but should be honest about it and just not book out of states period. Very frustrating, unprofessional, and shows a complete lack of respect to customers’ time. If the technician is sick this often then they should have two people on their staff not just one. I’ve rearranged my own schedule repeatedly only to be left hanging on the day of. A one-time cancellation is understandable, it happens, but unacceptable when it becomes a pattern. I can no longer rely on this business, will not make any further appointments and you should not either if you value your time.

They flagged one of my online purchases years ago and now my blocked my account. I’m no longer allowed to shop online. They said they can’t help me and the matter is closed. Super annoying. Said I have to go into the store to purchase but I won’t be shopping there again.

I feel absolutely scammed and furious. I saw an ad from Maëlys offering a 14-day trial for some creams, where I only had to pay $6.35 for shipping. I accepted the offer in good faith, but immediately after that, I was charged FOUR unauthorized amounts: three charges of $177.37 and one of $42.19, totaling $574.30. I NEVER agreed to pay that amount, and I NEVER authorized those charges. This kind of behavior is deceptive, dishonest, and completely unacceptable. It speaks terribly of your company and its lack of ethics. Charging people hundreds of dollars under the disguise of a “trial” is fraud, plain and simple. I demand a full and immediate refund. I will report this if necessary and make sure others know exactly what kind of business this is. Absolutely outrageous and infuriating.

This place. Sadly, you can only buy certain things at an Ulta store because I would never go there otherwise. The sales associates at this place are so incredibly rude it's unbelievable. They act like they are doing you a favor by helping you. They are retail workers and act like they are highly paid scientists and you're bothering them by asking a question. It's so weird.

I shop at Ulta all the time and have spent a near fortune (as my husband says) there. I went two several stores to get the Glamnetic nails and when I finally found a store that had them I picked up two packs because of the FREE offer. Which was clearly posted on every shelf. However as I checked out and asked about my so called FREE offer they said they didn’t have any more but if I wanted to purchase online I could. They told me this after I purchased. Then they said I’d have to get back in line to return the two nails. I couldn’t believe it! I won’t be shopping there any more, Sephora and Amazon here I come!
