Ulta you are the worst company I ever had to deal with the rudeness you can cut with a knife very unprofessional customer service don't ever get a credit card with them even after you pay it they shut you down and they don't notify you at all then when you call customer service they act like they don't care I will never shop in their store ever again they don't have anything Worthy prices are too high very unfriendly customer service

Bought a product that was running a promotion for an additional product. Surprise, surprise, they didn’t have the promotional product, and they NEVER had it during the entirety of running the deal. Customer service wouldn’t help. Told me just to return the product I had bought, but since it was open, it’s not returnable. They refuse to ship the promotional product. The manager at the store was rude and said there was nothing she could do and that she wouldn’t escalate the issue. False advertisement and zero accountability

They’re racist I walked in the store. No one said hi welcome white lady walked in. They welcomed her. I walked out and I called corporate and I made a complaint. Oh by the way, I am a black woman that’s probably why.

The harassment at check out is ridiculous. I have never received such rude and disrespectful service at any other retail store. I have been in the store twice in the last 6 months and received the same treatment both times. I am so turned off from the service that I will be looking for a new product so that I don't ever have to walk into their store again.

Extremely Disappointed with the Outcome.... Had an appointment at Ulta Salon in Campbell CA with stylist Katherine D. While she was friendly and professional in her manner, I’m extremely disappointed with the results of my haircut. I showed her a clear photo of the hairstyle I wanted, but she did not follow it at all. Worse, my hair was cut significantly shorter than what I had clearly requested. I emphasized wanting to maintain length, but that was not respected. The final result looks rushed, uneven, and nothing like what I envisioned. It honestly feels botched. This is especially disappointing as I was hoping to make this my regular, go-to salon in Campbell. I was ready to become a loyal customer, but unfortunately, this experience has made me reconsider.

Your sales people are way too aggressive! I come in there looking for something specific and they always try to steer you off to something else. A gal came up to me and said are you looking for something for you or your grandchildren? I go I don't have any grandchildren she's like oh whatever. And I said yes, I'm looking for a clean sunscreen. She says oh you want this one over here. I looked it up on my Yuka app and it rated poorly. It's just cringy to shop there. However, the facialist is fabulous!

Dear Ulta Customer Service, I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the customer service I received during my visit to your Longview, TX store on September 14th at approximately 1:48 PM. During checkout, I was assisted by a cashier named Kelli. Unfortunately, my interaction with her was extremely unpleasant. She did not greet me, make eye contact, or acknowledge me in any way throughout the entire transaction. There was no "hello," "thank you," or even a simple "have a nice day." Her demeanor came across as dismissive and unprofessional. I have shopped at this location several times and have generally had positive experiences, which made this encounter all the more disappointing. Based on Kelli’s behavior, it seemed clear she had no interest in interacting with customers, raising concerns about whether she is suited for a front-facing role in customer service. I also couldn't help but feel that her attitude may have been influenced by personal bias, which is especially concerning. Every customer deserves to be treated with respect and courtesy, regardless of ethnicity or background. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to ensure that all Ulta customers receive the respectful and professional treatment they deserve. Thank you for your time. Beware. They push a paperless credit card, but if you pay by phone they do not tell you total owed and let you pay it off. You have to call every month to find out the new interest charges. After 3 payments by phone and $100 in late fees and impacted credit report, I cancelled the card and will never shop at Ulta again.

I was just in the Phillipsburg NJ location and I had to wait a long time for someone to help me with products and then there was a long line at the register with only one cashier. The same sales person who finally helped me came over to help them was talking to someone she knew and told me I had to wait. I left my products at the counter and walked out. I never received such poor service at Ulta and rude sales people!!! I’m ordering the same products on Amazon!

Ulta has the most horrific online and in-store customer service. Pathetic, inept workers in-store and horrible product delivery and quality online. Orders consistently wrong and employees with disgusting attitudes. We will no longer buy from this store. Hopefully, they go under.

I ordered online, was charged $6.95 for shipping, and had the order sent to my post office box. When I went to pick it up, there was an additional postage due charge of $7.60 from FedEx that I had to pay for my delivery to be released. I contacted Ulta and sent them all of the documentation and they’ve done nothing. Now I’ll refer them to the State of Wisconsin Consumer Protection Agency.

This review is for the salon part. Didn’t realize that they use testers for makeup application. I had my makeup done on Friday. It is now Wednesday the following week and I am still having a reaction from the makeup. My face has rashes everywhere and it’s very itchy and the way they applied the makeup just looks very cakey and not even at all. My eyes look asymmetrical and she did not use primer before she applied foundation to my face. I do not recommend it all. Stick to the professionals that do makeup in real salons or do private makeup sessions. Don’t waste your money.

Worst company ever… I paid my account off not realizing I owed anything considering it was paid off. While fight for my life in an icu I missed two payments why there was even payments, the minute I realized I called made the 28.00 payment. So I go in the make a purchase not knowing they shut my account down until next month and when I called to see if they could turn it on to make this purchase they said no nothing they can do for me. I was fighting for my life. Run from this company they don’t care about the customers only the money. Account closed I’ll go to Sephora.

Placed an order it stated with order you get a free item order came no free item. First customer service said you had to add free item to cart but I told her that it said “you will get free item” not you had to add free item then she said it was limited quantities and probably were out of free item and I said someone 6 weeks ago ordered same item and never received free item so if it was limited quantities they knew 6 weeks ago there were gone why keeping advertising that you would get free item!! Then I asked to speak to a supervisor or manager and she put me on hold and like 3 minutes later returned and said no one was available and I said I knew she was going come back on phone and say that 🤣🤣 I did tell her I will not ever be ordering or going to ulta store again the items are all available elsewhere that they sell. So they keep losing customers!!

Hello, I hope this time you will do something about Henderson store at Stephanie in Nevada . The co-manager Marissa super rude and mean. This time was enough the way she was treated me as a guest and spending a few hundred dollars . I don’t deserve it as a customer . She shouldn’t work there as specially as a manager . Being rude not just with me even with her staff . I have had whiteness the way we’re talking to everyone , downgrading abusive . Just because i wear comfortable outfit when Im not working , im happy I don’t wear makeup and high heel on my day off! I’m guessing it has something to do if someone is prettier than her she becomes an avail b… It has been going on her behavior years now. I won’t ever go to Ulta after all this ! I rather go Sephora or Neiman stores to get my high end creams and make up! Im strongly hoping you will make changes and not keeping her as her position now! She doesn’t deserve it . I usually wire reviews when my personally get a bad customer service . She shouldn’t work there !!!!

I ordered stuff from Ulta and it say it will arrive on Aug 7 then 8 then 9 it kept getting a day longer and when now it’s Aug 23 it never came I called Ulta and told them my package didn’t arrive they took 20 mins and in the end they said we can’t do anything ur package didn’t get arrived I can’t do anything I just lost 105 dollars

This was hands down the WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced at any Ulta, and it happened at the Tower Shops location around 8PM last night. I went in simply to pick up an online order, and instead of receiving even the slightest bit of help, I was met with eye-rolling, attitude, and pure rudeness from all three employees working. Their exact solution? To tell me they were understaffed and that I could “go grab the item myself.” Except I couldn’t — because it was locked up, and unbelievably, none of them even had the key. When the manager finally appeared, I expected at least some professionalism. Instead, she was just as rude and dismissive, immediately jumping to defend her staff as if I had been the one mistreating them — when in reality, it was the complete opposite. Not once did anyone apologize or attempt to correct the situation. The way I was spoken to and brushed off was completely unacceptable. I left the store in absolute disbelief that a company as big as Ulta would allow a location to operate this way. The lack of basic respect, accountability, or customer care was shocking. I will never set foot in this store again, and I would strongly advise others to avoid this location if you don’t want to be treated like an inconvenience.
