Very poor company. Lure you in with cheap quotes, then up your Direct Debit by huge amounts. Then trying to get a refund of hundreds of pounds out of them is like getting blood from stone. 2 months and still waiting. Countless emails, several calls (can never get through on phone!! I would steer clear of this company.

Every time I submit a reading they still insist on giving us an estimated bill which is above our actual readings. We are still in Credit but they are now trying to add over £22 per month to our bill. Customer service isn't very good with long wait times and not very helpful. If it wasn't for the amount we would have to pay to move I would leave.

Was really happy to join this company but was originally quoted £28 per month and now two years later this is up to £42!! Phoned to complain at the latest rise on the direct debit and had to wait 30 minutes for the phone to be answered. When asked why my direct debit had again been increased, I was told that offgem had told them to do it. Will be leaving when my contract is up.

Poor. Signed up and was quoted £110 per month - after 9 months this was hiked to £165 based on the fact that my usage had gone up 5%? Long waits to get through to customer service who frankly couldn't care less. Avoid.

Is Utility Point still a business? Is anyone out there?...Every contact I have had with this Company has led to no reply whatsoever. I left Utility Point having only been with them 4 months. They lured me with £68 a month...3 months later?..Increased to..£168!!! Shameful..I rightly complained, suddently they 3 days later change it to £105....enough was enough I left this greedy, incompetent Company, as it was very easy to see what they are all about...They still have some of my money; a month late in sending me my final statement..and of course no reply to my last correspondence.....Utility Point is a joke of a company...but join and you will not be laughing....

Avoid, after being with company for a few years they doubled my monthly amount, they now owe me over £600, numerous phone calls and emails and 2 months later still no money back in my account poor customer service, uninformed staff, I have even been hung up on! Avoid at all cost

Very Happy i got switched in 2 weeks & got £25 off my first bill by quoting blue 2109776 every firm takes money off as soon as your supply starts the daily usage rate is half that of other firms

Shocking!!! No other word. I signed up to £ 70 a month - They took £100 for 6 months starting even before the switch - reducing it to £35 in 6 months. Took 27 minutes to get through - I am forced to pay the £36 exit fee and move to a proper company DO NOT DO IT!

Do not allow then to increase your direct debits, customer service staff are not very well trained and are like insistent on repeating their side of the story. Not interested in the customers point of view

They are very ignorant in their customer services. They insist I have to give a m3 reading. I have never in 30 Years of living in my house given a m3 reading, only kwh reading. Will be leaving them when renewal arrives.

They simply will not return the £100 i am in credit by. After 6 months of chasing I have now been left no choice but to contact Resolve, Trading standards & Watchdog.

Avoid at all costs! Terrible customer service and very difficult to get hold off, i am still awaiting a refund and am still being charged. DO NOT USE!!

I used a comparison site but when the emailed me the prices were different. So I rang many times to cancel but no-one answered so I emailed. They just ignored my emails. Now they say I owe £56 for two weeks electric. Still haven't resolved the issues. Never use them!

I have been promised to get my refund back in 10 working days. I have not received any payment yet. When I call them the answer is they have referred it to finance department for the payment. My account number is UPD0066186 . I hope they send my money back to my account soon.

I wish i had read other comments here as i have been waiting over 8 weeks now for a refund promised 4 weeks ago and despite contacting them many times and listening to their false promises i am no further forward

I flipped my account from Utility Point several months ago. They continued to take direct debit after I flipped and now owe me over £600. They promised payment by 31st December and here we are on 8th January and no sign. Shame on you Utility Point. There will be people out there that rely on prompt refunds to feed their families.
