Boiler installation was nightmare. 2 days job was dragged to 11 days.Claimed loss of earning which company is refusing to honour. Boiler and controls are guaranteed for 12 years but room thermostat became faulty after only 4 weeks of normal use. Company cannot send engineer for one week and I was told that there may be charge. This is one of the worst company to do business with. If you want peace of mid stay clear and do not come under influence of the rep. They will make false promise which the company refuse to acknowledge.

installation was fine 2years ago. im supposed to have a 10yr warrenty valid if they service it every 12mths. i get 5yrs free service. after 12 mth they serviced it but he couldnt fix a leek as he said he wasnt a proper engineer. my 2nd service was due in april, today june the 16th they have failed to turn up for the 4th time. 4days and 2months wasted. no phone calls or apologies etc. they clearly dont intend to honour my contract

Booked a service for my boiler no one turned up no phone call to say they wouldn't be coming. Had similar sort of problems during installation where I was chasing electricians who wernt turning up when they were supposed too. Would not have used them again but the warranty on my boiler is only valid if it's serviced by them.

Don't use this company. New boiler installed last November. Still waiting for thermostat and electronic timer controls to be fitted. Reported strong smell of oil when heating was turned on. They came last week to fix "weeping pipe" that had not been replaced when the new system was put in. Today was the 4th time they had failed to turn up and put controls in. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

My elderly mum had this company fit and install a new boiler through the government scheme last year. twice I have made an appointment for it to be serviced twice no one has turned up. When they say they will arrive between the hours of am and pm should you have to give up 2 days waiting in for no one to show. it is a good job I don't work in the week or I would be suing you for loss of earnings. I am definitely going to report this firm to trading standards as what they advertise they give they definitely don't. Back to my tried and trusted plumber to pick up the downfall of this company.

Cannot fault the actual install engineers but office staff were poor. Called on numerous occasions to try and arrange the install to no avail. Was told each time I would get a call back and this happened once, I was given an install date - no one turned up on that date and no courtesy call to tell me they weren't coming. I had to chase them up to be told that I wasn't even booked in for that day! Wouldn't recommend VHS and despite the install being perfect, the office staff need to be trained in basic customer service.

Had a leak on installation, had a gas leak a week later and had to call out gas board due to schoolboy error made!! Could have killed my family as it was noticed at 9pm, an hour later and I may not be writing this review!! Have had to top up water every month in boiler which means pressure is leaking somewhere and to top it up, should have had one year service 2 weeks ago and took the day off work, when I rang they said the engineer had finished a week earlier and they forgot to rearrange my appointment so I wasted a days annual leave and still waiting for Becky to call me back with a new appointment!!!! I think that covers my bad experience!!

I had to keep chasing every step of the way, the installer that did the work up stairs caused damage but never reported it I found it a few days later

The old boiler was replaced by a new, smaller energy efficient boiler. It was installed quickly as the installers had second job in afternoon. They switched it on and the radiators and water got hot downstairs. After they left, I noticed I could not close my back door as the outside pipe was in the way of the door closing. But much worse then this is that only the radiators downstairs are getting hot. I have called 3 times and never had a return call. I have been told by a plumber to bleed the radiators and then find a balance between all of them. I have tried but with minor success. This is not my job to do. The old boiler worked fine and we are already dreading the thought of winter. My child of under 16 and I live alone in home. We expected just a fully functioning boiler as we had before. It's a shame as boiler is good. If only the installers had spent 1 hour more and left the property knowing all was working fine.

When we wanted to buy new boiler 1 year ago their service was perfect. We had included 1 year free boiler service. They arranged engineer visit. Unfortunately nobody came. Tbey did not call us at all. I phone them up a few times a week to make another appoitment someone to come for free boiler service. Today is about 2 monthes and still they did not send to us engineer. Every time they promise to call back. Wasters time. Unprofessional. Not happy at all.

Awful service, would never use the company again and would advise that no one else do so. Many problems, some still outstanding but they don't answer the phones, impossible to contact and don't return calls. Was left without any heat for a week over the winter and still without the correct paperwork but given up trying to get a response. Terrible, unprofessional company.

I have tried to arrange my first year service with your company and on three arranged dates the engineer has not turned up and for the most part I have been left here waiting until late afternoon until I finally contacted your office. On the third occasion I did find out by lunchtime that the engineer wasn't going to get here. I have now put three days aside out of my busy schedule for this. I have written to the Managing director and had no reply and have have asked to be put through to customer services who were allegedly busy. They were contacted by one of your employees to contact me but nothing. No reply from your MD and no contact with your customer services/complaints department. My fourth day is booked for the service. I don't hold out any hopes of someone turning up!!! What more can I say. Totally frustrated and very annoyed that the engineer has ben unable to attend on the dates scheduled. apparently your company said he wasn't answering to their calls. I cannot believe e that someone working in this situation didn't have a mobile contact. What would have happened in an emergency situation Am considering going on social media to talk about my experience.

Cannot fault the onsite work, the installation of our boiler went very well and generally the office people I rang at VHS for help and advice were very accommodating. They were keen to help and listened to the problems and tried to find solutions. However, When payment was due I found that the invoice was incorrect as it did not reflect the deposit I had paid. I was told a new one would be emailed to me, it never arrived. I did the calculations myself and paid what was owed. With the boiler warranty, I was told it would be for 10 years (certain conditions applying) and when I applied to Vaillant ( boiler manufacturer) for it, I was told it was only 5 years. When I rang VHS I was told that they would speak to Vaillant and would eventually receive the warranty. I am still waiting, this was over two months ago. After the boiler was installed, the water pressure for the shower was very poor. Upon contacting VHS, I was put through to an 'engineer' who stated this was a common problem and that it was the fault of the system in the house and we would need to buy a special combi shower mixer. If I wanted someone from VHS to come out to check the system, I would be charged and would have to wait at least a week. It turned out to be a simple blockage in the water pipes, which my next door neighbour resolved for me. Pressure is now better than before the new boiler. Then certain parts of the system began to leak because of the increased pressure, one radiator valve and the shower mixer unit. Luckily the property is about to undergo a renovation, otherwise I would be looking at having some major work done in the bathroom. All I can say here is that this must be quite common for older systems and VHS should, in my opinion, make householders aware that this may happen. I am still waiting for my boiler warranty!

The installation was fine an independent engineers did it and all was good. Problem has been with there ongoing service, you just simply can't get hold of them. We have an issue wit the remote thermostat coming on at all different times even when reprogrammed it comes on at 2am then not at all. Yo can't get hold of anyone on the service line sales answer (surprise surprise!!) but when they say service will call you, you hear nothing. Chased up and got the same scenario, I am looking at getting out of the contract as I believe they must be breaching certainly the service element.

Very poor customer service, made 4, yes 4 appointments for them to come and service the boiler they fitted. Each time a no show, they didn't have the common decency to call and say they weren't coming - just didn't turn up.

APALLINGLY BAD SERVICE, WORST EXPERIENCE OF ANY COMPANY IN MY WHOLE LIFE. My water was too hot on a system you installed less than 6 months ago, scalding it was. an electrician came and swapped my cylinder thermostat with an old broken one from his van over 5 weeks ago YES!! ALMOST 6 WEEKS NOW and despite calling your company almost every day since, it has still not been replaced, and you promised to ring me back around 30 times yet actually rang me only a few timrs over the last 6 weeks giving me no option but tu use my immersion heater, which is a lot more costly, not good enough by a long chalk. I have never ever in all of my 65 years had such apalling service from any company ever. The irony is that calley heating services got the replacement cylinder thermostat sent to my address, so it is just sitting there waiting for an electrician to come and fit it.

Under no circumstances use this cowboy company. My mother is elderly and sick and has 24 hour care. The company knew this and yet she was left with no heating or hot water and leaks in pipework. After many calls and being ignored completely I am sick of this company and called out British Gas in the end to check everything. They found the work was unsafe. Still I have had no response from Valley Heating its an utter shambles. I'm glad to be rid of them. I've called them out for leaks on 6 occasions and it took BG to fix all their mistakes and still VHS will not pay for this work or accept responsibility. I can't understand why they are getting government money and should be put out of business immediately.

Very poor service comparable to a cowboy company. Communications and follow up is extremely poor with little or no conflicts resolution. I would not recommend any dealings with this company.
