Avoid these con artists at all costs. The “confirmation voucher” they issue you is a work of fiction. When I got to the rental desk to pick up my circa 200 Euro rental for the week , an additional 35 Euro charge was added by the supplier. Apparently this was for “extra tax” and “e toll” . Why can’t this seller just be transparent and list ALL charges that I was due to pay encounter when I arrived at the desk ? What if I didn’t have enough cash to cover the extra charges ? Really really unhelpful in this day and age really when information should be transparent and readily available in black and white. Next time I will just book with the supplier directly so I know what I ACTUALLY will be expected to pay”
“I reserved a car for 4 days, but only used it for 3 days. I was promised a refund for the extra day, but never got it. I told them if I couldn't get a refund then I wanted to keep the car the extra day. Allan assured me I would get a refund, but 4 months later still nothing. Avoid this company at all costs.”

Please note, A 100% refund of pre-payment will be made to the customer, where the booking has been cancelled 48 hours before the pick-up time. In cases, where booking has been cancelled when less than 48 hours are left for pick-up, no refund is applicable.

Yes, the system is designed in such a way that it will cancel and charge as per time frame. We do not cancel all bookings manually. It;s an automated process and we are also charged by suppliers accordingly.”

“Rental car company cancelled my booking as I did not have my physical license. I said I would and could get it to them, and there was still 1 hour to my pick-up time. Rental car company refused to wait. So they cancelled. VIP Cars charged me cancel fee. Cancel was by rental company, not me! I made a reservation two days prior to my flight a day later I got a an email stating that they did not complete my reservation and will be with a different company. After I landed in FLL I contacted customer service and they directed me to the correct company that I was supposed to rent the car with, after two hours of waiting was told I need to pay more money for there insurance since I don't use a credit card. No where does it say you need a credit card or there will be a $200 + fee for insurance. After contacting customer service again to get a refund they said that the insurance has already took effect and they can't issue a refund even though I did not rent a car!”

Arrived at the airport on time, proof on flight checker and flight details, having booked a car via VIPCARS using agent for EUROP car called Ansa Rentals Barbados… told at the airport they do not have any cars available. Called and emailed VIP for refund 7 x, got run around. They never had intentions on refunding me. Liars and cheats. Will never use again.”
“I rented a car from DMR Car at Istanbul Airport through VIPCars website. DMR staff are not friendly at all. DMR car tried their best, since the day before pick up day, to provide me smaller car than the one I booked with the same booking rate. They pushed me by leaving myself and family in the outside cold weather of Istanbul on 17:00H 28 Dec 2023. Because, I kept insisting for liek 2 hours, they then provided the car I wanted.
DMR Car charged my 6000 TL for a vey small and tiny scratch. VIPCars didn't refund DCW and started to provide excuses why not. They just didn't keep the booking contract.
Myself, will never use VIPCars again or rent from DMR Car.”
“September-October i rented a car through VIP Cars in Montenegro. Knowing the difficulty of a local roads i paid for full insurance in advance. I ended up having couple small scratches and my credit card was charged $1376,00. Since than (two month) i am trying to recover the money ,communicating with VIP Cars on a daily basis. They just drugging my feet,not denying that i have a case but still not paying.
