About Virgin Experience Days:

Virgin Experience Days was launched in March 2001 under the name of Virgin Experience. Originally offering experiences to corporate clients as a way of incentivising staff and customers, the company rapidly expanded to bring the Virgin values of quality, innovation, value for money and fun to the consumer experience gift market.
The summer of 2003 was a real milestone for Virgin Experience. In our continual quest to bring the best experiences and unrivalled service, we joined forces with Acorne Sports. Founded in 1988, Acorne Sports is the original experience company and it’s their stamp of approval that confirms our pedigree and ability to deliver unforgettable experiences. Acorne ’s unrivalled reputation, knowledge and relationship with all of the featured centres made them the perfect partners for Virgin Experience, a company dedicated to making sure customers have the very best time. By teaming up, we are able to challenge the way every experience is provided and offer once-in-a-lifetime gifts backed up by friendly service staff with first-hand knowledge.

I didn't know about Virgin Experiences before getting a voucher as birthday present. It was a voucher for a 3courses meal at Jamie Oliver's fifteen and we really enjoyed it! The atmosphere was great and the food too. We spent a very pleasant lunch. In the future I will check the website for other similar vouchers. It's a perfect way to do activities and try new places.

A lovely Afternoon Tea enjoyed at the Hilton London Green Park Hotel! I travelled from Lincolnshire and a friend travelled from Cheltenham to meet in London for the afternoon to enjoy the tea. We spent the time chatting, drinking tea and eating finger sandwiches, warm scones with jam and cream and a range of other pastries and delicacies in the very ornate surroundings of the English heritage hotel. All the staff were friendly and attentive. A great day out!

Didn't get to take the clay pigeon shoot day as so ridiculously impossible to book when I had time to do it. I don't suppose I should have been surprised as I had a similar experience booking a track day that I ended up having to travel to the other side of the county to take. Never again, £150 out of pocket, inexcusable!

I enjoyed a fantastic day out with my grandson on the Arsenal Legends Tour. I was most impressed by the warmth of Charlie George who I had admired so much as a player

Was greated with a large gin and tonic on arrival. Venue was cosy, friendly and overall the experience was fun. However the bottomless teapots were very very weak. Definitely hardly any gin in them, a fact confirmed when I overheard a female member of staff joke that the barman had been making coloured water!! A comment that ruined our visit.

A great day out friendly and helpful ground staff and brilliant pilot who explained in detail how to fly this lovely little aircraft and gave me a long time in control while pointing out many interesting places as we flew over them. All in all a wonderful experience of what it must have been like flying in the 1930s would recommend it !!!

At the Get Stuck into Steak cookery class at The Jamie Oliver Cookery School they are so afraid of a little smoke that the pans aren't allowed to get hot enough to make a great steak. The chef has them hot for the demo, but you aren't allowed to go higher than 6. You are basically unable to replicate what they chef does, or cook a good steak. The 'Jamie Oliver steak-cooking style' amounts to hitting the meat with a bundle of herbs which even the chef accepted was ridiculous, and mixing the salsa verde on the board: just messy. Just google how to make great steak. You'll get a far better result. On the plus side the chef was nice and the other attendees were too and there's plenty of parking. A glass of wine cost £10.15.
