Virgin Experience Days was launched in March 2001 under the name of Virgin Experience. Originally offering experiences to corporate clients as a way of incentivising staff and customers, the company rapidly expanded to bring the Virgin values of quality, innovation, value for money and fun to the consumer experience gift market.
The summer of 2003 was a real milestone for Virgin Experience. In our continual quest to bring the best experiences and unrivalled service, we joined forces with Acorne Sports. Founded in 1988, Acorne Sports is the original experience company and it’s their stamp of approval that confirms our pedigree and ability to deliver unforgettable experiences. “My dream came true I was able to take off and land a Boeing 737 and my favourite destination my Instructor at I Pilot Hammersmith Justin was a fantastic tutor”

“At the Get Stuck into Steak cookery class at The Jamie Oliver Cookery School they are so afraid of a little smoke that the pans aren't allowed to get hot enough to make a great steak. The chef has them hot for the demo, but you aren't allowed to go higher than 6. You are basically unable to replicate what they chef does, or cook a good steak. The 'Jamie Oliver steak-cooking style' amounts to hitting the meat with a bundle of herbs which even the chef accepted was ridiculous, and mixing the salsa verde on the board: just messy. Just google how to make great steak. You'll get a far better result. On the plus side the chef was nice and the other attendees were too and there's plenty of parking. A glass of wine cost £10.15.”

“After your Supercar drives I found that being taken around the circuit at breathtaking speed by a professional driver was something that you should all experience at least once. Just do it and see what I mean. A”

“Afternoon tea with bubbles was a gift that we used to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The Folly is a riverside restaurant in a prime position in Oxford, and our window seats gave us a fine view of the river. On a warmer day, we would have chosen to eat outside on their floating deck, but as it was, we enjoyed the stylish interior. The delicious selection of sandwiches and cakes were served by by a charming and friendly young waiter, who was very attentive without being too intrusive. Superb!”

“Not a five star hotel, seats in bar area were ripped and bad smell wafting through bar area! No personal touch to it and nowhere to buy ice cream or sweets whilst watching the film! When I called the hotel to book the film, they were quite rude and abrupt! Very disappointing!!”

“Very poor quality of food at a Champagne afternoon tea at Farrington Lodge, Preston. Not worth the money that will have been spent for this Virgin Experience. Very disappointing. Definitely not to be recommend!!!!!”

“The tour around the Morgan car factory exceeded our expectations. We went round in a group of twenty people conducted by a tour guide who was knowledgeble and delivered it with a just the right degree of dry humour. All our questions were answered. It was a pleasure to observe a skilled workforce at work who seemed pleased to be there. The tour was followed by a excellent cream tea. My wife who is not a 'petrol head' thoroughly enjoyed the day.”

“Well organised and welcoming staff. Warner Brother's lunch food could have been better, it was very bland macaroni. The hotel tea was 'safe' and simple, could have been a bit more different (we are vegetarian). I suggest the studio have something to explain where the hotel is to avoid confusion for the joint attraction.”
