The customer service experience throughout the process was good, Toby did a great job keeping me up to date throughout the process and chasing people accoridnly. Unfortunely, I was not impressed with the timescales, the duration of my process did not align with the timeframe. I was constantly reminded that the timescales were out of Vitals control. However what was frustrating was I sent my first certifcate to them on the express service which arrived to them on the 27th December. I sent a second certifcate on the standard service which arrived to their office on the 8th January. My first certificate completed the process on the 29th January (not inclduing delivery), compard to my second certificate which completed the process on the 23rd January. No one could explain to me how the second certifcate completed the process prior to the first certifcate, espcially after paying for an express service. This delay impacted by visa process. Maybe I was unlucky, but this delay caused additional stress to my move.

Thank you Oliver for taking the time to leave your review. I am sorry you are feeling a little aggrieved with the processing times. I know it has been mentioned previously but unfortunately once we submit documents to the UAE Embassy they process them at their own speed. When we advise processing times we can only go on what has happened previously with the Embassy. Once your documents had been completed at the Foreign Office they were submitted to the Embassy straight away. Once with the Embassy we have no way of checking on the process or when a document will be returned. Since Covid the Embassy will not allow any in person submissions or collections so we have to wait until they send documents back to us. I know this can be frustrating and I apologise for that. We hoped the refund would go some way of an apology.
Vital Consular are the attestation service used by my employer. I found them to be responsive to queries. Vital consular under estimated the duration to achieve attested documents

Unfortunately with USA docs the Department of State can sometimes take longer than anticipated and I apologise for that. It would be great to work with you again in the future if there was a need.

Hi Wayne, yes unfortunately documents processed via the US are currently taking longer than usual. We notify our clients of the time frame, so it shouldn't be too much of a surprise but we can completely appreciate the inconvenience!

Overall good helpful service that takes a pointless admin task and makes it less onerous - so it was good. They weren’t always very proactive… I dropped off my document on a Thursday and it wasn’t sent off to Singapore until the following Wednesday (so a lot of time was wasted) and then I had to chase to get it shipped from Singapore and to get an update. But overall it was fine.

Pribi from Vital Cerificates was very responsive. However the timeline I was given was completely off. It took an additional month (if not longer) than the 45-50 business days that was mentioned for all the documents to be finalized. I have mixed feelings about the whole experience. Some of the staff, namely Pribi, were very polite and responsive while others were quite impatient and brash. I want to give a higher rating but based on the overall experience it would be halfway for me.

The service itself has been excellent in that there has been a willingness to engage. That said ultimately it's about the output and we have experienced some lack of clarity about requirements, roles and responsibilities. This has resulted in errors.

I spent a lot of time chasing people on the phone to get updates about what was happening with my documents. My job was dependant on the documents and this was stressful.

It took a very, very long time to get my documents back and required multiple follow-ups. The delay was on the SA government's side, but it would have been much better to give me proactive feedback.

The updates were fine until I received my original document back in a condition, it seems, that my document had been folded heavily and unfolded which has a permanent mark that cannot be rectified

Hi Sharfudeen Thanks for your review. We always do our absolute best to ensure documents are returned in the same condition as they are received, unfortunately, sometimes, the government agencies responsible for attesting the documents are not as diligent.
The attestation should have been on the physical copy of actual document- which was not the case and this was not stated in the begining!

Hi Abdul I'm sorry you feel that we were not clear. Having reviewed the e-mail thread I can see that this was a Moroccan personal document to be attested via the USA and as such, as is clearly mentioned in the quote, the attestation is done on a scan or clear photograph of the document. If your document was not accepted for the purposes you mentioned in your initial inquiry please forward proof of rejection and you will be able to take advantage of our 100% acceptance guarantee.
Cost is too expensive.

Hi Eden Thank you for your feedback. I did some digging and I see you order was from November 2017. We've worked hard to ensure improvements in our systems and procedures since then so hopefully we've managed the improvement you've indicated was needed
