The service provided was abysmal. I was never very sure which of the Group Companies I was dealing with. Every promise made was broken. Many weeks after the chair was meant to be delivered it eventually turned up, but without the power cable.

I can see this relates to a chair that we delivered around 12 months ago and we apologise for the issues there were with delivery to your location using external fulfilment. As a direct result of this issue we have since updated our delivery service to your area to ensure it is handled via our own drivers – apologies you were let down on this occasion. Arranged for a technical visit 2 weeks in a row keeping our son home especially for the appointments , 2 weeks in a row was informed the day of appointment that due to 2 different technicians being off sick 2 weeks in a row . Offered to fit the part myself if posted out , sent out the wrong part . Sons chair still showing fault and will have to wait until new year now . Very poor service for a new business

Thank you for your feedback, we apologise for the cancelled appointments which unfortunately were unavoidable due to the illnesses being contagious. In regards to the wrong part being supplied, we don’t normally recommend sending parts without a technician diagnosing the fault, especially on a chair which wasn’t originally supplied by us as there is scope for interpretation error but we agreed to try and help in this instance and are sorry it didn’t resolve the issue. To clarify, we are not a new business, we have been around since 1972, however we have recently taken over Permobil wheelchair support for wheelchairs supplied by Innova Care Concepts. So disappointed with both the product and the service from this company. After excessive delays, product arrived damaged and non-functional for intended use in a hospital. Failed infection control and H&S standards - quality control prior to shipping appeared non-existent. Email exchanges with the company unsatisfactory and patronising. AVOID!!

Thank you for your review, we are very sorry for the issues you have experienced and would like to apologise as this is far below the level of service we strive to achieve. To address some of the specific points raised, unfortunately the delay on initial delivery was due to this being a new product that had been developed and there was a shortage on some of the parts. Upon receiving the chair we completed quality control with one of our trained engineers, and due to the location elected to send via pallet to ensure onward delivery was as quick as possible. Unfortunately in this stage the pallet company transferred this to another pallet for onward delivery to yourselves causing the damage that has been reported. We have escalated with the courier company and reviewed our policies in delivering to this area for the future. Again apologies we didn’t meet your expectations on this occasion.

I am giving one star that on the basis the lady that I first spoke with on the telephone was very helpful but the unfortunately she had to pass me onto someone else to take my order. My reason for submitting this review is because after expressing the urgency of my need, being told when I could expect delivery and paying on this understanding it was not delivered.

Hello Mr Dines, Apologies that your order was not delivered on Friday, it will be delivered this morning – there was an issue with the engineer’s van being loaded on Friday which meant unfortunately your walker was not loaded, we then attempted to rectify the situation later in the day via one of our other staff taking it but unfortunately, they were unavoidably delayed on another job. Good afternoon Mr Chadwick and many thanks for your feedback. We’ve looked into this and having spoken to the servicing department administrator, we did carry out a full battery test. The batteries came out at 96% and 108%, which is a good score as we explained at the time. The problem is therefore not with the batteries, and the battery charger is obviously working fine as well, as the batteries were fully charged. We checked with you and you confirmed that you hadn’t left the charger in if it wasn’t charging (as this would drain the battery and damage them). As we have eliminated there being any problem with the batteries, as mentioned the next stage to get this sorted is for us to look at the full scooter, as this is where the problem must lie. We believe you are on holiday at the moment but if you can contact us or bring the full scooter in, we are more than happy to look into this issue further to ensure this gets sorted. We look forward to hearing from you further so we can get this repaired for you as soon as possible. Kind regards George
