I have a Vodacom contract for 5 years now..I applied for a home internet bundle this morning for R550pm, Vodacom replied in the afternoon and said that Im approved but do not qualify. I found this strange because i have a good credit score, I don't miss any payments, whether it's with Vodacom or any other service provider. I phoned Vodacom to find out why and they stated its because of my low credit score.. according to them it's below 300 and I can only qualify for a deal below R200 a month. This is actually dumb because the contract phone I have with them I'm paying R620pm. My contract is due for an upgrade soon and I wonder if they're gonna have an issue with that too. Out of curiosity checked my credit score and it's 673 out of 705. I previously had a telkom package which I was paying R950 a month and they didn't ever have an issue. I spoke to 6 different consultants and nobody could assist. Vodacom is incredibly difficult to deal with and if you want headaches then go to them.

We use fixed data lines for our internet connection. It has now been down for longer than 48 hours and still they cannot provide us with an ETA! Do not consider Vodacom for business purposes.

Well done to the Vodacom team at the Boardwalk Mall, in particular Chandre who went the 'extra mile' to assist me with an upgrade. From our initial meeting she followed up, offered solutions and ensured that I was 100% satisfied. The whole team deserves a big 'thumbs up' for always being friendly and NOTHING is too much trouble. Such a pleasure doing business with this outlet!

Crooks. Customer service is terrible. Everything about this company screams day light robbery. Would give them 0 but 1 is the lowest.

Vodacom's customer service system is appalling and highly ineffective. With an ongoing problem you end up having to explaining the SAME problem over and over again to different people every time you follow up. When the person you spoke to initially doesn't do the thing they said they were going to do, you end up completely stuck, with no proof of your conversation. There is nothing ever put in writing. This is not fun for either their customers or their employees who have to spend time figuring out your problem from scratch each time and endure your increasingly growing wrath.

I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I was charged extra content services that I never consented to and when I asked to block them the same charges would be back in the next month meaning i had to pay vodacom money for a service i don't even use. Their call centre is a joke i have been calling since Friday and sending emails to no avail. The only thing they know is to send you through to the next call centre agent. My issue is yet to be resolved since 09/09/2022. Wouldn't recommend it. After sending countless emails and speaking to what feels like a 100 agents my issue is yet to be resolved. Definitely rate them a 0 out of 10.

I purchased a phone online with Vodacom in July, I returned the phone within 3 days. In July Vodacom took R669 from my account for the phone as it was on contact. They acknowledged that the phone was returned. Yet they have not returned my money. I've called their customer care line for almost 2 months now, and it's September and they still have not returned my money. Pathetic company. Quick to take but take forever to return what is rightfully mine. I will never use Vodacom again. I'm also changing my wifi services that I use with this ridiculous company.

Vodacom service is the worst. They don't even deserve a star. The manager at the Westwood Mall does not take calls, provide incorrect information. Does not even know his products. Just as well the staff has the same attitude. It been 3 months I am trying to finalise my package, and no one can assist

After my contract's end date, which was the 30th of May 2022, an employee contacted me enquiring if I want to upgrade or cancel my contract and I've told him that I wish to cancel the contract because prepaid works better for me in terms of my always traveling lifestyle. But, even after the telephonic communication, Vodacom still provides me with the package and I can't use Vodacom services without using the package thus still charging me for the package. I contacted Vodacom at the end of June after seeing that Vodacom has not yet cancelled my contract and the response I've received from an employee was "I can't cancel the contract, because it's going to be a long process". This is very unprofessional and brings up a lot of concerns. Even after I've spoken to 2 employees from Vodacom, not 1 of them even mentioned how I can cancel the contract or even assisted me with the proper services. Vodacom has clearly employed too many incompitent people who obviously do not care about Vodacom's image. It's ridiculous. I’ve sent an email to Vodacom’s cancellation department on the 20th of August 2022 regarding this matter and still no interaction from them whatsoever. I did a follow up yesterday morning and this morning. It disgusts me how careless Vodacom is towards their clients. All their care about is how much you are carrying in your pocket. Vodacom has accelerationism written all over them.

The most disgusting, passive aggressive online customer “care” I’ve ever received. Refusal to assist with reimbursement of data which a glitch in Vodacom’s systems made disappear, and a convenient disappearance when asked for their name resulting in no assistance being received.

Vodacom's service is beyond poor! You upgrade (in your mind your current number), but no, THEY ISSUE you with a NEW NUMBER/LINE with the device (this you only notice when you get the device). Then you phone the call centre and log a collection of the parcel, yet 3 weeks thereafter it is STILL NOT COLLECTED. But wait, the best part is they BILL you for everything, your current number and device (which is just), the new number and device (which is theft). I had this issue with a previous phone upgrade as well, took it up with their management, but I was blamed for the fault. My personal opinion is that there are sales targets to be met, and this is how they do it. They do it at the cost of the CLIENT. Worst service experience ever!!!

worst service. call customer care for query. running in circles can't get through to talk to agent. the most expensive network to use with the shitiest customer service of all networks. USELESS THAT IS WHAT IT IS. when someone says vodacom🤢🤮🤮

I have already told you in my previous review that the administration service from Vodacom is terrible. Under 0662210322 the contract has expired but not the debit order which is now debiting me with R6.33 for what??? Whatever it is for, I don't want it - ONLY CANCEL THE MONTHLY DEBIT ORDER. Is that too much to ask. It seems so as I got a standard message from Vodacom -which I replied to -asking in what connection so that they can get a'human' to contact me. Guess what - no further contact from Vodacom. Vodacom are only interested in sales and making money, not their customers. At the end of all your questions I am unable to submit this review

I no longer can use email for queries as Vodacom - no doubt because they don't reply to emails except when they need to. Vodacom is not interested in clients queries onli in sales and making money. My contract has just ended but they now bill me R6.33??? and I cannot get in touch with them by phone. Will someone phone me on 0843093416.

Returned a smartphone the day after it was delivered. They told it would take 7days for assessment when I called them after the 7 business days they told me it can't be because it takes 7 to 10 days for assessment. Called in again after 9days they told me I'm calling the wrong branch using the exact same number from previous phone call. Went in had to wait 30mins for them to tell me they sent an email to another branch and said I should come back after they give me a call absolutely disgusting services

Dear service provider. I can't wait for my contact to end in September 2022. Good vs Bad... I am a Vodacom user since the early 90's, but.. there is always a but.. But to be honest! Your network is below the minimum standard... I can't even use all my data.. due to 80% no network.. my wife with a 10 GIG data contract are having a surplus of 140 Gig.. This is causing a fustration in my business and a security risk.. during emergency. 1. The "bad" we pay for your LACK of ACCOUNTABILITY.. your lines are so busy with complaints it's a waist of time calling. 2. The "good" you receive towards agreement.. if people don't pay you cut the service and take legal action. My conclusion; VODACOM is absent ON DUTY.... With respect your network is worsening. Do I have the proof to make this statement..? Yes, I stay in Mpumalanga within the same small town for 27 years. VODACOM moved for HERO to ZERO Many people in our area are waiting for contracts to end... Good luck

I have a contract that expired 23/03/2021 and phoned them and they advised that the contract will be cancelled. To date still not cancelled. Had another contract that expired in in Dec personally when to head office on 2022/02/10 ticket no b58. A manager and consultant helped me and advised that they would advise me of the outcome. Now 1 month later I have not received an e mail nor message or phone call back in this regard. I have the consultants name but the manager would not give me his name. I am now gatvol for the bad service of this company and will do all in my power to discredit them. THEIR CLIENT SERVICE SUCKS AND SHOULD CHANGE THERE NAME TO VOLKAK
