My experience with Vodacom was terrible. You cannot hold a job and deal with Vodacom. It's pass the ball all the way and when you finally find that there is possible fraud going on and the fraud dept. confirms that there is no upgrade and therefore relating to fraud and the legal dept. which communicates now blocks your ID with the voice message because they possibly don't know what to do. My advice is stay away from Vodacom. They don't get back to you and they are not reliable

My name is Cleo i want to take this time and thank one of Vodacom employees Wendall Deuparsad. She is professional, co-operative and dedicated. it is very rare to find a committed person these days but what i experienced few weeks ago it was magnificent. I was so impressed with Wendall's behavior her skills and positive traits was phenomenal. I was super angry at Vodacom because I personally went to the branch and i was told my number was locked but when i called my number it was ringing but my sim card was with me. How can Vodacom be so careless someone sim swop my number of many years..my number was ringing somewhere but the system had my information I was leaving Vodacom but because of Wendall Deuparsad from Vodacom KingShaka International Airport i gave Vodacom another chance. Wendall Vodacom should be proud of you... you are the best

Having a service provided by this company is an absolute nightmare and their incompetent support team is even worse!! What a bunch of pathetic losers. This is the second time in 2023 where my Fibre services get cancelled without my consent nor knowledge NOR A BLOODY EXPLANATION! I raised my concerns and issues with the SM team and they blatantly ignored them. I am not going to accept this nonsense this time around. 1. I asked to be contacted by the manager - I have Not been contacted by anyone - I provided my contact details 2. I want an explanation on why my services were cancelled without my knowledge or consent - this has not been provided and I am not accepting “ We don’t Know “ as a reason - that is very pathetic 3. I was inconvenienced twice this year whereby services were canceled, I had to incur unplanned expenditure on prepaid data because of this company's incompetency - and I asked to be reimbursed for this in the form of a payment holiday - BECAUSE IT IS NOT THE FIRST TIME IN THE SAME YEAR!! They are blatantly ignoring this and trying to sweep this under the carpet like they always do! I am not going to accept that!!! I am not going to be taken for a ride by this company like I am not a paying customer. I want the above 3 points addressed immediately!!! You have my number you know where to get a hold of me And I now also want a person of contact which my lawyer can speak to!

I have had an endless battle with vodacom for the past 3 weeks. Upon what was supposed to be a simple upgrade turned into numerous phone calls TO vodacom ( no one ever returns your calls, all full of promise they will) and numerous fights with different people from different departments and still nothing has been resolved. Vodacom did not make any effort to make sure that my requests were met regarding deliveries and therefore ram delivered on the days i requested that i was not at the deliver address. Due to 3 delivery fails, my upgrade was then returned to vodacom and i was told i could not have the same upgrade due to no stock and was advised to choose another phone of which i agreed to, only because i was so tired of fighting with vodacom for a simple upgrade which i might add iv been a customer with vodacom for many many years. When finally on saturday this past weekend i thought we had finally resolved things, ram delivers but wont release due to my ID number being incorrect on their invoice. The ID that vodacom had given ram was incorrect. Once again i spent ALL morning phoning vodacom and again, numerous promises to call me back but nothing!!!! Many customer care agents and many departments later, this issue has still not been resolved! And another week will go by, Ram will make 2 last attempts to deliver of which i cannot do anything about due to VODACOM and my upgrade will be sent BACK to vodacom of which let me guess, no stock and offer me something else. Im ready to cancel!!!! i cannot keep doing this every week, taking time out of my working day to sit half a day trying to get just ONE person to at least give me some information of what is going on. After years of being a vodacom customer, now all of a sudden my ID is changed and incorrect, and I must now rectify it by sending emails and making phone calls to sort out something that is vodacoms fault!!!! What i dont understand is when you call them they do security checks, and one of them is your ID number, i give them my ID number and no one ever says its incorrect and they proceed with assisting me, but yet when i phone to say that ram has the incorrect ID number on their invoice from vodacom, they say that according to their system, my actual id number is not what they have on their system!!!! Please SOMEONE explain this to me!!!! Another thing, being a customer of so many years, howcome now after many upgrades and deliveries made in the past, now all of a sudden my id number is incorrect on their system!!!! All im going to say is, be careful who you take your next contact out with, they good to you in the beginning but vodacom is incompetent, and useless and they dont know what they are doing! they give you a whole long speech when you call them about keeping your data safe etc but yet information with vodacom gets changed and altered and you sit with the hassel of trying to sort it out!!! A simple upgrade which should have taken 3-5 days has taken me now 3 weeks and still not been resolved. To those out there, i would NOT recomment vodacom no matter how good their deals are, they will just screw you over and mess you around!!!!! There is NO effort from vodacom to help or assist or even try to resolve simple issues. The few that do return your calls (few, being 1 person!!!!!!!) still have not resolved my issues or cannot, should i say. i honestly dont know what more i can do, i have been on the phone nearly EVERY day with vodacom, speaking to different agents, managers never phoning me back, going to different departments, emails etc, how do i get anything resolved if no one will help me! I think its time to cancel and actually find a company that will not use and abuse me as a customer and will actually take time out to assist me!

Oi, Vodacom! What's going on with your customer service? Tried to sort out a business contract on the 8th of August. Got left hanging by Lugeshni Pillay for almost a week! No 'out of office', no heads up, nothing. Just pure radio silence. Thought I'd give 'em a ring and ended up speaking to Tarryn. She was no better. Shoved me off saying since Lugeshni was "helping" (if you can call it that), she couldn't step in. What's that all about? Almost gave up, but popped into the iStore and met this legend, Aliziwe Tubeni. She sorted it all out quick-smart and got me sorted with my phone. Top lass, that one. Sort it out, Vodacom. Not everyone's gonna be lucky enough to bump into an Aliziwe. Your service is all over the shop.

Customer service non existant On the 30/06/2023 I have received a message via whatsapp that there will be a price change effective 01/08/2023 with a link to view and manage my fibre package. I then followed the link and decided to upgrade my package to the 250Mbps download and 250Mbps upload unlimited package for R999 per month first 6 months its R699. I then proceeded to call Vodacom on the 04th of July 2023 to request the upgrade and received SR230704-246298 I was informed it will take 3 days. After no change was detected we then called Vodacom again on the 07th of July 2023 where we were in form it will take 14 days. We waited the 14 days and then contacted Vodacom again when we were told it takes 30 days. After 30 days we contacted Vodacom once again where we were given SR230804-337407. This was on the 04th of August 2023. On the 04th of August 2023 I received a call to inform me there was a system error. We were placed on the upgrade but then we were placed back on our previous package. Nobody could tell us why this happened as this was not requested. The lady then informed me that the change will be done within 3 – 5 work days. On the 8th of August 2023 I received a email from Vodacom informing me that the migration is complete and to restart the router at the wall plug. I have proceeded to do so however there is no change in my speed. It is staying between 23 – 27Mbps download and 30-45Mbps upload. No where near 250 download and 250 upload. I have responded to the same email immediately and waited 24hours and proceeded to restart the router at the wall plug again. Still the speed is the same as my old package. We are currently on day 37 since my initial request and yet my speed is not fix. Nobody seems to want to help

I had a contract with Vodacom since 2016 and wanted to cancel, the process was terrible and nobody assist, I had called them more than 100 times (almost 4 months) and all agents tried to offer other products and I was bagging them please cancel my contract and I don't need this contract and finally I received the quote and I paid the penalty and I was told you have to send via email to customer care and I was searching on google I have found cancellations@vodacome.ac.za but I didn't receive the confirmation. However, I have tried to call them and they were taking me back and forth. Shame on Vodacom, it is acting so cheap.

I feel compelled to share a recent experience I had with Vodacom, which left me deeply disappointed and frustrated as a loyal customer. On July 4th, 2023, my daughter visited the Vodacom store at Cradlestone shopping mall to recharge my prepaid data bundle. However, what seemed like a routine transaction turned into a nightmare. The store clerk sold my daughter a new R200 data bundle, loaded it onto my existing sim card, and instructed her to follow specific activation steps. Little did we know that Vodacom reassigns mobile numbers, leading to the loss of my existing airtime and data on the previous sim card. Upon realizing this, we returned to the store on July 16th, seeking assistance. After much discussion, the manageress, Ayesha, acknowledged the mistake and promised to reverse the bundle and transfer it to a new sim card we had to purchase. To my frustration, this meant an extra R200 expense for data that should have been avoided. Adding to the disappointment, Ayesha assured us the process would take 7 working days. However, 8 days later, there was no sign of the promised reversal, and all attempts to contact her went unanswered. Today, on August 4th, 2023, my daughter visited the store to inquire about the status of the reversal. Surprisingly, Ayesha seemed to be avoiding her, and another staff member denied any refund or reversal, attempting to place the blame on us for not verifying the sim card's validity. This entire incident showcases a lack of professionalism and accountability within Vodacom's customer service. It's disheartening to see a company not owning up to its mistakes and not properly training its staff on internal processes. I hope that sharing my story will bring attention to the importance of customer satisfaction and transparency in business practices. As consumers, we deserve better treatment and service from companies we trust with our hard-earned money. Unless Vodacom promptly resolves this issue and offers a genuine apology, I regretfully must consider ending my association with the company and encourage others to think twice before choosing Vodacom as their service provider. Let's hope for a better future where companies prioritize their customers' needs and concerns.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with this company's customer service, and it was nothing short of dreadful. From the moment I reached out for assistance, it was evident that their support team lacked basic courtesy and professionalism. The first major issue was their unresponsiveness. It took days, and in some cases, even weeks, to receive a reply to my inquiries. This delay left me frustrated and feeling ignored as a customer. When I finally managed to get through to a representative, the lack of knowledge and expertise was painfully evident. It seemed like they were reading from a script and had no real understanding of the company's products or services. They were unable to provide me with any meaningful solutions or answer even the most straightforward questions. Moreover, the customer service agents displayed a complete disregard for my concerns and seemed disinterested in resolving my issues. Their dismissive and condescending attitude left me feeling undervalued as a customer. To add insult to injury, when I requested to speak with a supervisor or escalate my concerns, I was met with resistance and further delays. It was as if they were actively trying to avoid taking responsibility for their shortcomings. Overall, my experience with this company's customer service was nothing short of a nightmare. Their lack of responsiveness, knowledge, and basic courtesy left me with a bitter taste in my mouth and a strong desire to take my business elsewhere. I would strongly advise anyone considering dealing with this company to think twice, as their abysmal customer service is a glaring red flag that should not be ignored.

Tumelo Dee Local Guide·25 reviews·97 photos just now NEW This is the worst experience my partner has experienced.they deserve a minus 5 stars. She bought a new phone in April, and the guy who assisted her told her that they would create an e-sim for her as it was late and he wanted to knock off therefore cannot port her original Vodacom number. A few weeks later she starts receiving a million calls from different people, only to find that the number belonged to someone else. She then went back to Vodacom and she was told that Vodacom recycles numbers, if someone is inactive for 3 months their number is given to someone else. She asked for another number because that user was still actively using her number. The gentleman by the name of James said he will give her a different number. When we got home the number does not exist therefore the e-sim does not work. We came back today, only for James to tell us that now we need to pay R25 for him to activate her number. On top of this all, when we ask why doesn't she get monthly invoices for her contract he says Vodacom no longer sends invoices they just deduct funds. Now we left the store with another number which we have been told to wait 4 hours before we can get an activation code. That means we will find ourselves in this store once again. Working with Vodacom Fourways has been a pain and an inconvenience.

Vodacom are nothing but thieves, they gave me a contract under false pretense. I have not been using the number yet they have been charging me monthly for airtime when I finally get to use the number they have taken back the airtime that I have payed for they say airtime only last 2 months but I payed for the airtime why am I given time frame. Sign a contract with Vodacom you are in for big time robbery. They will abuse the access they have of your account. No one can help you. You will call from pillar to poll they just find new ways to mess you up like selling you 1g of data for R170. I curse the day I sign or agreed to a contract with this dishonest liars.
