“For my current needs, Volumio works perfectly. I just wanted to assemble a basic streamer with a Raspberry Pi, a touch screen and a DAC. Nothing overly fancy. for this use, the software is perfect. It is pretty much plug and play with minimal configuration. I can control it from any of my tablets, phones, and computers - which is perfect for my needs. I haven't spent a lot of time trying to customize it, other than a couple of simple plugins. The community support has been great.”

“Unsing Volumio on Rasp-pi 2-3-4, it performs perfectly. I checked the external DAC (Topping) outputs with signal analizer, it is true bit-perfect in all senses. Almost plug 'n play, it has a lot of useful features, fully configurabe @ UI, networking, data sources and, mainly, reproduction.”

“Used it with an early version of Raspberry Pi. Did not work perfectly. Now I use it with Raspberrt Pi 4 and a DAC and that's a perfect combination! Digitalized all my LP's and CD's and so I can make room in my living room :-) Had some trouble with music on my NAS but recently I solved connection.”
