“I use my Volumio on a Raspberry Pi at my Homeoffice 2 days a week. This is a very good product to use old mp3 or flac files, also like Spotify. The current version 3.886 is very stable and I got no bigger problems. I use the free account, which has all I need for this 2 days. The premium account is with 70€ a year to much, but I would spent some dontate if there where some link.”

“I’ve been using the Rivo+ for about 7 months. I think it sounds great through my Chord Qutest DAC. I stream with Qobuz using Qobuz connect. I have not had a single crash or need to reboot. It’s been on for 7 months solid with zero issues. I’m very pleased with everything about Volumio and the Rivo+.”

“I wanted music in a smaller room without spending too much cash. Volumio with a Pi 4 and some bookshelf speakers provides a quality simple solution. Volumio has never crashed and is stable. I use a NAS with over 13,000 songs that can either play as they were on any album in order or I can search, but I don't use that much. While I use the web interface to control Volumio I have used my iPhone also. My 13,000 songs were "ripped" from my large CD collection. Volumio is quicker and more convenient than playing music via the CD player and sounds just as good. Volumio is easy to use and for a free product is a quality option to stream your music. I am using a DAC+ Hat with a Raspberry Pi4. I may add a touch screen to control Volumio in the future. Instead of a USB flash drive, a 265GB USB SSD is used for the NAS plugged directly into the Raspberry Pi4, so that ensures reliability and peak performance.”

“I love it. I have all my music stored on a NAS drive so rarely use Volumio to directly stream from Spotify, though, I probably would if Volumio supported Spotify lossless streaming. I have a large CD collection (stored as FLAC) and I find that playing these off of my NAS drive, via Volumio, to be more convenient. My Volumio is Pi 4 based with a DAC hat and although not the prettiest I am more than happy with the sound quality. The interface is satisfactory though it would be nice to have some search features if using locally source music rather than a streaming service. I'm using the latest software and have found Volumio to be very stable. Music starts up instantly and plays without any stuttering. Great. I love Volumio.”

“I have managed to use Volumio from version 2, 3 and now the new 4, and it has been flawless. I have pretty easy requirements (1700 local MP3s/flacs and mostly WEB Radio). I've never had Volumio fail to play any and all of my content. It's a terrific app, and being able to run it on el cheapo Raspberry Pi hardware is a huge plus. The only hitch I've every had was the new version 3 didn't have the right entry for my hat-based DAC but the incredible support from Volumio had that fixed quickly. My only gripes are two items: - The HTTP app does not use HTTPS encryption, so I'm constantly telling my browser this app is okay without a certificate - The security is pretty lame with a username of 'volumio' and the same for the password. I've managed to work around this with a strong Linux password, but I have to change it back to the lame password every time I do an update/upgrade.”

“Volumio is a great streaming OS/Application that can run on Raspberry Pi computers or personal computers (I haven't tried this version yet). After going through the setup process a few times now, it is pretty easy to get up and running. I also have a WIIM Ultra streamer and Volumio on the Raspberry Pi is very similar albeit without as many inputs and outputs. It works great for me, although I have had a few issues getting interfaces such as screen output and Peppy Meter working consistently. Overall, I would recommend Volumio.”
