“Il y a peu d'avis francophone alors j'y vais. Volumio est le produit que je cherchais qui permet de créer sa médiathèque en local ou sur un NAS. Très intuitif, il permet d'écouter ses fichiers dans de nombreux formats et aussi les radios du Web que l'on peut soi-même ajouter, ça c'est très bien. Mise à part quelques petites bizarreries, l'interface est très bien faite et la distribution est parfaitement stable.”

“Volumio allows you to reuse old but good hifi amps and speakers so you don’t have to buy new! Not having Bluetooth connectivity is a real pain, even my car offers that! I understand a Subscription model is needed but only supporting other subscription content services and not offering access itself is a bit bonkers? The streaming radios and access to USB devices is great but there is no content management. Great interface though, looking forward to more plugins!”

“Bonjour, j'ai pris la version payante myvolumio pour l'intégration qobuz, malheureusement toutes les nouveautés sont regroupées sans classement par genre. La configuration est assez facile, sauf la connexion à mon Nas Synology. J'ai finalement opté pour le protocole nfs. Attention, il faut paramétrer le serveur et maper tous les utilisateurs à Admin dans les paramètres avancés du nfs. Pas besoin de mot de passe. Myvolumio est installé sur un rpi IV + Allo Digione Signature + Alim LPS Allo Shanti. Le son obtenu est fouillé avec une belle image stéréo, digne d'un streamer haut de gamme. Inconvénient de taille, les plugins equalizers ne fonctionnent pas avec une carte comme allo digione. Dommage, si j'ai choisi un streamer configurable c'est aussi pour la correction du son , indispensable dans ma pièce d'écoute. Contacté, Michelangelo y travaille! Hello, I bought myvolumio for the qobuz integration, unfortunately all the new releases are shown without classification by genre. The setup is quite easy except when connecting to my Nas Synology. I finally opted for the nfs protocol. Attention, you must configure the server and map all users to Admin in the advanced nfs parameters . No password needed. Myvolumio is installed on rpi IV + Allo Digione Signature + Alim LPS Allo Shanti. The sound is rich with a wide stereo image, worthy of a high-end streamer. Another disadvantage: the equalizer plugins do not work with a card like allo digione (unlike Moode audio player). Too bad, if I chose a configurable streamer, it is also for sound correction, which is essential in my listening room. Contacted, Michelangelo is working on it!”

“Its lightwighted, fast and very easy to use. I like the look, the price is fair. Small Con: I'm missing an Option to select and "combine" Interprets. F. E. when the Name of the Band exists in different Variations and the albums are mixed up to the these Names. I also miss an Equailizer.”

“Hi I've been using Volumio free ver. 3 years. It was very good with Spotify connect. From time to time need to be restarted, but still OK. I move to Tidal and changed for Virtuoso. Unfortunatelly Tidal app works very unstable, functionality compare with Tidal app on iPad is a big dissaster. Roon works perfectly but is more expensive. “Very dynamic sound. Works well without glitches. The user interface could be better. Can not sort albums by album titles, only by artist. Can not display many album artwork, and somehow for many albums it only displays individual songs instead of albums. Search function in Qobuz and Tidal is limited, very strange. The Roon interface is by far the best. None of the streamers including the Volumio can match the Roon.”

“Cons: Internet set up is not easy. I tried to connect my tablet as it is described on your page without success. Tablet is not able to find Volumio automatically. Always I have to investigate via router what Volumio has IP and this I have to put to Internet browser. Free program does not have possibility to connect Tidal. I am agants payment for this functionality. Pros: Good software for music management with your Hi-Fi system”

“This is pretty slick. I am new to RaspberryPi so the setup was pretty painless. My purpose was to play my ripped Apple Lossless library from a USB drive. For this purpose it is spot on! I do have issues connecting to the device from some browsers. I also tried the Alexa integration but there isn't any documentation on the correct phrase and functionality.”

“The Volumio offers great functionality, however, I can’t give it 5 stars because of few reasons: - I would pay one time fee for Tidal native streaming, but I’m absolutely against monthly fees. I would buy another streamer instead in a long run than paying monthly for the function, - When I stream Tidal over airplay, occasionally it would freeze the Volumio and it cause static speaker pops, which drives me mad. (Raspberry PI 3b+ with Hi-Fi berry DiGi+ over optical to DAC) - Lastly, FLAC .cue files are not always recognized, so I can’t switch track on some of my offline FLAC albums. Overall, it is great what you get for the money of small system running Volumio, but you need to be ready to live with some flaws.”

“ich nutze Volumio mit einem Raspi 4 und einem alsa clone DAC. Die Musik wird von einem Raspi OMV gestreamt. Was mir fehlt ist ein einstellbarer Aktualisierungsinterval für die NAS Quelle. Der Handyzugriff hinkt dem Browserzugriff hinterher. Da ist noch Luft nach oben....”

“Fast Delivery. Quite easy setup in about 15 minutes using my Windows Laptop and WLAN. Attached it my Synology NAS containing ripped CD´s in flac, HiRes upto 24/192 and DSD upto 128. Playback upto 24/192 over WLAN without any problem. Playback over RCA to my stereo set (Accuphase, Magnepan) marvelous. 2 problems till now: Doesn´t download covers via Internet although activated. Couldn´t reactivate after having it put into sleep mode. Had to reactivate by taking the power cord out for half a second. In total good functionality and handling. Marvelous sound.”

“For the most part, its a lovely system. Nice interface and themes. Only issues I've had with it is the wifi dropping after a period of time and the system becomes unresponsive until a restart (RaspberryPi 4). Also had issues with playback whereas clicking on a one off song or even CDs doesn't product sound or not play at all. Go to a locally store song and playback is fine. I have no need for any of the paid services. With that said, I would have considered a life time membership if it wasn't for the cost.”
