I use Volumio with my Okto Dac8 ans streamer. I do enjoy the interface and the quickness. My only con is the low number of available plugins (really hoping for a DSP solution).

Great app. Works well with Tidal And Spotify. Radios are nice extra. I have some troubles with adding songs to favorites and save playlists. Bluesound which I used before was a bit more intuitive but Volumio still works really good.

it's almost perfect for my music jukebox project

Using Volumio for TIDAL Connect. Playback works fine, but sometimes (not always) I need to restart my RPi before a listening session in order that my DAC is recognized.

Just discovery this very nice project. I really nice the design and flexibility, like you can access from you phone using the browser. I will give 4 star now because I know there are a lot more to come.

It is a fantastic software. Sound y very good, nice features, beautiful interfaces (web, app and direct screen GUI are great). The one thing that was dissapointing to me is the lack of Tidal support in free version (i am paying for Tidal subscription!). I would love to pay for it, but in my country results very expensive.

I introduced it to Raspberry PI3 and am using it very happily. A little disappointing is that since volumio3, there are no plugins that automatically start playing at startup. It was very convenient and an essential function, so I would like it to be equipped as standard.

I love using volumio, easy to set up works great on raspberrypi 4 ,use of dac easy with setting dac device finds the type of dac automatically. Works great with touch screens only problems is payment.I would prefer to pay monthly over a year with no contract and free to cancel.yearly fee not fair as I don't use the service daily as I have many other sources for my music and equipment.

I quite liked Volumio…its interface is very friendly and makes it very easy to use….the only thing that bothered me and I couldn't resolve was that I couldn't make all the album covers appear…the rest is all very well.

New free version 3.0 works great. Installation is quit simple on my raspberry with Allo Piano2.1. Use chrome to connect and hmi. Thnx for sharing. Only quite difficult not to say impossible to copy playlists from earlier version. Otherwise 5 stars.

Using volumio on a raspberry pi 4 with a hifiberry DAC and a mission audio system. Sounds great. Streaming Dutch radio is my favourite.

Have a budget TEAC UDH01 Dac that I like and is good quality albeit not sought after due to it's age....+ no streaming capabilities. My 10 year old LENOVO laptop (WINDOWS 7) was the source of the TEAC and problematic and it was virtually impossible to install W10 onto the laptop. I installed VOLUMIO and voila Magique > the TEAC DAC runs problem-free and sounds awesome w/VOLUMIO interface. Definitely well designed and engineered software.

Using free version for Spotify. Not 100% bug free track selection not always as accurate as it should be. Contemplating trying tidal ,not sure I'd be willing to upgrade volumio .

I'm using Volumio in a Raspberry Pi 4 with a Hifiberry Dac. Excellent combination! Most of my music is in DSF format.

I'm a total luddite, but last year I heard good things about Volumio from an acquaintance. My daughter helped me put the free version of Volumio on a Raspberry Pi 4, which is connected to a 3 year old Schiit Modi dac going in to my stereo. Was blissfully streaming local radio stations and Pandora until I recently upgraded to Version 3, which broke the Pandora plugin. Taking away one star for that. Hopefully that plugin will be fixed soon so I can get back to my Pandora stations.

Volumio is a wonderful software. Thank you Volumio Team! For the last few years, I have been using Jriver Media Center, which I like very much. A couple of weeks back, just out of curiosity, I looked around for similar solutions and Volumio popped up. I downloaded Volumio, installed on USB stick and booted from the dedicated Jriver PC running Windows 10. Not really expecting much, but nonetheless very pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to get Volumio running without changing anything on my Jriver PC. The 4TB local disk and the 3TB media NAS were immediately recognized by Volumio. And then came the sound check! I was stunned at the quality difference. So much so, that I spent the day listening to classical, jazz and rock music on Volumio. Last week, I got myself a Raspberry Pi 4 B 4GB for Volumio. And now, I am convinced. Volumio is my music server of choice :-) I think what makes Volumio better than the system I have been using, is the fact that Volumio is embedded as an OS with just the relevant features of Debian. Running a music server on a bulky OS like Windows 10 has the disadvantage of any number of processes (irrelevant for the music server software) running in the background and degrading music quality. Thanks again Volumio!
