“I've been using Volumio since 2020, initially on a Raspberry Pi 4 with a HiFiBerry DAC + Pro, then with the Primo HiFi Edition, and since the end of 2023 with the Volumio RIVO, a KECES P6 power supply, and a Matrix Audio Element X DAC. I've stuck with Volumio because I like the user interface and it has continued to evolve. The sound has also improved steadily. I'm a bit old school and primarily use an SSD with 24-bit FLAC files. When I use streams (Bandcamp, Qobuz, HighresAudio) for previewing, it has worked flawlessly so far. My only criticism is that when using a tablet, it's difficult to move individual tracks in the tracklist, and the zoom function often gets used instead.”

“Dobre oprogramowanie. Podczas regulacji głośności z pozycji smartfona zdecydowanie zbyt czułe. Lekkie przytrzymanie przycisku regulacji głośności powoduje gwałtowny wzrost głośności z delikatnym opóźnieniem. Można kolumny uszkodzić przy odrobinie nieuwagi.”

“Service works great. Love that it's stable and great quality, and just works. Their dedicated app is a little meh on iOS, wish they'd spend more time on it. The live Activity doesn't work, and takes over if I'm casting to my AppleTV while trying to control Volumio. So more time spent on the iOS app would be good.”

“Ich habe einen Primo Hifi Edition und der Klang gefällt mir sehr gut. Ich streame von Tidal mit Tidal connect. Die Bedienung finde ich nicht so optimal, anders wie Tidal selbst aber es funktioniert. Es sollte bei jedem VOLUMIO aber die Software wie die Hifi Edition Standard dabei sein, auch wenn es kein Hifi Edition ist. Mir gefällt, das war auch Kaufentscheidung, die eigene Software und sehr positiv ist das die in meinem Gerät schon dabei war! Ich würde mir auch den Rivo kaufen, gerne hätte ich bei meinem einen Power- Schalter gehabt, aber mit dem kann ich leben! Noch poitives! Er ist aus Italien/Florenz ;-) und aus Europa!!!”

“The last software update has made some improvements. My music is streaming from a Primo and an USB drive, works really well. Webstations are also working with no issues. Spotify is sometimes inresponsive, a reboot will help most of the time. In very rare occasions I need to do a new Spotify login. Prefer it to Bluos. Good remote support.”

“I like this project as it integrates easy with Home Assistant. However, I have an issue with the touch screen feature. No matter how many times I try to get this to work by uninstall and reinstall. I always get an error. Xserver won't start or a certain file is not found or kiosk won't start. Because of this I had to abandon until this gets resolved or I stumble across a solution.”

“I run Volumio on a Raspberry Pi 4 with a USB DAC built into my NAD amplifier, and the sound quality is excellent. My only frustrations are performance-related: The system takes a long time to boot before it’s ready to play music. Streaming music services take even longer to start playback.”

Pi4 and qobuz (with SAMSUNG A51), from there it goes into 2x mutec reclocker using cardas usb cable, from there in Merason DAC 1 MK2, Spectral Audio DMC 30 SV and DMA 260 amp,...by the way...would be nice to make sub playlists in playlist...for expl. Rock/Hardrock...and export playlists in csv...txt..pdf”

“Merhabalar, Öncelikle Premium üye olmakla ne kadar büyük bir hata yaptığımı özellikle dile getirmek istiyorum. Çünkü ben üye olurkan ücretsiz üyelikten daha fazla özelliğe sahip olacağımı düşünerek ömürboyu üye olmuştum. Taaki kurulumu yapıp kullanmaya başlayınca ne kadar yanıldığımı anladım. Şöyle demek istiyorum. Ben özellikle bir roon kullanıcısıyım. Hatta roon u da ömürboyu üyeliğimi aldım. Ama ne zaman bolumio üzerinden roon dinlemeye başladım ki görüntü alamadım. Bupremium özelliği satın almış olan bir üye olarak büyük bir hayal kırıklığı oldu. Hatta şuan ismini hatırlamıyorum ama yöneticilerimizden biri ile yazışmıştım. 1 sene oluyordur. Ama hiç yardımcı olmadı. Çünkü ben özellşkle roon kullanıldığında görüntü yanı çalan parça bilgisini göremeyeceksem neden premium için para vermişyimki???????? Ödediğim paranın iadesini talep ettim çünkü kullanmıyordum. Volumio dan somra hem ücretsiz olmasına rağmen görüntüsü olan picoreplayer uygulamasını kullanmaktayıp. Bunları yazmak hiç hoşuma gitmiyor. Çünkü insan para verip karşılığını alamamk çok hoş bir durum değil. Ben çok büyük umutlar ile volumio üyeliğine geçmiştim. Çünkü karşımda büyük bir firma var diye içim rahattı ama yanılmışım. BÜYÜK BİR HAYAL KIRIKLIĞI OLDU BENİM İÇİN Benim için para iadesi olup olmaması hiç sorun değildi. Ama sizin kurum olarak yaklaşımınız yani çözüm odaklı olmamanız beni açıkçası çok üzdü. “I started with volumio when my synology NAS stopped supporting DACs directly connected to it. Honestly it was a great decision and i really love it. I love the group feature were i can play he same thing in multiple devices and the fact that i get this good quality on a raspi and a DAC hat. Sometimes it gets a bit buggy with those DACs but overall its a really good and highly recommended solution.”

“Volumio is a perfect match for my selfmade RPI Streamer. It does what I would expect any streamer of doing: Be a portal to all my music, no matter where it comes from: Qobuz or local DSD Files. Sometimes it is a bit buggy, but hey: You fix your bugs in a short time frame and each update makes me even happier!”

“I have volumio on two raspberry, 4 and 5, with nas synology, it's perfect. I find the sound vers clear, precision very good. I perhaps have in the future volumio primo+ to simplify my installation. Volumio is in the Europe and l like this, i have sonus faber Speaker (minuetto), tsakiridis theseus for tube amplifier and pro-ject x8 for vinyle.”

“Sehr guter Klang über Raspi 5 und Hifiberry Amp 4+. Bin nach vielen Jahren wieder zurück zu Volumio gekommen und dann direkt bei der noch sehr neuen Version 4 eingestiegen. Sicher gibt es da noch einiges zu optimieren aber ich bin trotzdem sehr zufrieden mit Volumio. Wünschen würde ich mir sehr das die Albumcover bei den Radiostreams noch angezeigt würden. Bei meiner Mediathek funktioniert das gut aber beim Radio werden halt nur die Senderlogos angezeigt.”

“I used volumio os on an allo DigiOne device (based on the raspberry pi), for a couple years. I mostly used it to access my music collection from my NAS. To that end, it worked perfectly and the sound quality was top notch. I was very satisfied and I'll soon get a volumio primo+ from this company, as an upgrade that should make me happy. I don't give the five stars because sometimes I had to restart the pi after it crashed, but that was only every one in a while and not a big issue.”
