Attempting to use this streamer has been nothing but frustrating. Upon receiving the Primo I discovered that it had a defective power supply. I purchased a power supply replacement from Amazon and powered the Primo up. I purchased a lifetime superstar license but could not find streamer options from the sources menu. I contacted Volumio and was told how to find options for Qobuz and Tidal. I signed up for both and all was well for 3 days. Today I discovered that my Tidal and Qobuz account is missing from the source menu. I cannot stream Qobuz and Tidal because they are not in the sources menu. I would like to return the Primo for a refund.

Volumio is a fantastic application to build a digital jukebox. Even linux newbies can manage music, radios and streaming platforms effortlessly. My raspberry PI2b is working smoothly even during music file transfers from my computer to its SSD. I'm waiting for a ES9038Q2M DAC to have a real HiFi experience, but sound from headphone plug connected to my HiFi is already great. Smartphone as a remote command is tremendous: low cost and efficient. Just great! What's missing on volumio? Not to be distro but an app instalable on any linux platform. On my Orange Pi PC+, Wifi, sound from phone jack and eMMC are disable.

Volumio is the right way to collect all your music in to one program. I now switch between Tidal, spotify and my own files without problems. It is easy to use and i just love it.

If sound quality and UI were the only measures this would get 5 stars. However, a couple of niggles drop it. 1. Does not recognise, import or export playlists in standard formats. 2. Can’t bookmark or remember a position in the library. It retains place for a short period but any sort of reconnect and it resets to the ‘top’ of a library. 3. Plugins are very poorly documented and supported for Primo. Also when questions are asked on the forums there’s rarely a useful response. Volumio need to support it better (but push you to a subscription for that).

Tried every other OS that’s available and I can honestly say Volumio is the best. It’s user friendly, excellent quality output and a great mobile app. I was keen on getting roon subscription but will not go for it as Volumio Virtuso does it all. Thank you Team for developing such a wonderful OS. Looking forward to exploring more.

I apreciate sound quality and app functionality

Finally, I found Volumio. It's simply magnificent. I use it on a raspberry pi 3b+ with a dac module and I can play songs with my usb or Spotify thanks to the simplicity of the system.

Overall, I'm happy with Volumio. The android app probably could use an updated. Very laggy and doesn't track properly.

Chaotic first experience. Plugins not condoned by you and no support in case it affects the app, not tested either because two didn’t work and prevented the correct use of the app, When asking for assistance for installing the app and solving the issues, I was proposed to pay for additional support. NAS shares are not recognized when scanning for available ones. Obliged to mount the share manually. Generic error when an issue with mounting them arises not helping to understand what went wrong. Support by non native English speaker making the email communication very tedious.

Use free. Easy to setup, easy to use. Would prefer to buy it (like a Software license for livetime, so four to five years, all functions for 69 Euro. Also nice to have a streamer (hardware) with some nice case and display etc) Thanks

Easy to set up and not expensive, I have a vintage “ all- in one” Bang & Olufsen Century of exceptional sound quality but dating from 1992. Enter Raspberry Pi 3b+ with a with a Hifiberry DAC+pro (total cost 75GBP) and I’ve got TIDAL streaming in all it’s glory! Absolutely WONDERFUL!!

Great product.... Great after sales service. Also a big fan of your partnership with Asus in Taiwan. Would like to take this chance to ask for some tutor help ... to populate / index my internet radio. I'm used to turn knob internet radio. Apologise if I'm slow to cope.

I used it on a new Rasberry PI 3 B+ as the main operating system to act as a streamer for my tube Dac. It seems to work quite well. Since my library uses different interface most titles in the media folder get mixed up and using the UPnP ap with Volumio as the main framework does the trick quite well. I am looking to get a Digi Hat so I can avoid using the USB port and go SPDIF out.

Works well I use it with a hifiberry dac+ pro and it sounds good. The latest screen layout change is a step backwards. It was a much better layout before. a big difficulty is adding sources. It finds DNLA very easily anything else has so far defeated me
