“Constant issues with airplay and spotify connect, but when it works it works well”

“The purchasing of the bassfly uhat was easy, no human involved. But that is why give this rating the suppport afterwards is non-existing. I requested help as I cannot get portions of the bassfly to work. Ticket raised and 5 days later still waiting. I am glad I did not buy anything more expensive, the bassfly is going to end in the trash as I have confidence in getting to work or to get support.”

“Hi I use Volumio with Raspberry PI 4 with external DAC: IFI Nano ISDS or Topping DX7 Pro. Passive volume control and pair of GabrisAmp amplifiers with EL34 in PP, Cabasse Dinghy 221 loudspeakers. Listening is very pleasant and never tiresome. .... the sound is clear ... in the headphones a Fidelio X2HR with your eyes closed you are in the music scene. In my opinion we need to improve the interface and it is the interpretation of the tags ...... the price for the SUPERSTAR version is very high for an open source product. To share the disk you have to give the appropriate administrative privileges and it's not easy if you don't know Linux”

“Got the Volumio Primo about 1 month ago and it sounds really great. But I have some issues regarding the interface. I was used to the interface of Logitech Squeezebox Server. It seems that the LMS webinterface has more possibilities with tags and navigating. I hope Volumio will 'copy' a bit of that...”

“I use Volumio with a Raspberry Pi 3b+ and external USB DAC (SMSL M100 MkII) and a JustBoom SPDIF DigiHAT. Setup was easy(ish) if you can find your way around computers. Sound quality and connection are good via Airplay/BT/Ethernet. Tried out the trial with 'Tidal' Integration which worked fine but waiting on Tidal Connect before pulling the trigger on MyVolumio Virtuoso. Overall a highly recommended product with the bonus of Spotify Connect for free”

“The app has been easy to set up. I like the way I can have all my music sources in one central location. I am using a RBPi 4 with an AudioQuest Dragonfly Red and a Jitterbug. I run that through a Marantz Home Theater Pre and Anthem Power amp. The sound I am getting is GREAT!! The sound stage is expansive and the dynamics have me losing myself in the music!!! I wish it operates Pandora more like Pandora does on its own. I do nte find stations the same way I do when I search Pandora. Qobuz is working much the same way it does as stand alone. All in all a great product!!!”

“Hi, Volumio is a great SW, I am using it with Spotify, local SSD and am listening to radios of great number available. The only feature I am missing here, is BT conectivity to headphones. I am running Volumio on RPi4B 4G, it is stable, USB DAC, Yamaha HTR 6230, older guy, great sound. PETR”

“I have been recently using Volumio with a Raspberry Pi 3 and external USB DAC. The application is working perfectly fine, is easy to navigate and absolutely problem free. The sound quality is amazing or at least equivalent with a proper hi end streamer. I am currently considering to set a Pi 4 with Volumio to my main listening hi end system as a source.
