“I was sent the wrong shade. This took a long time to rectify and in the meantime the shade I wanted was out of stock. I don’t as sent a smaller version which arrived damaged and given a £1.00 refund. Eventually a third smaller shade arrived. I had to return two very large packages as no pick up was arranged. I was not compensated in any way for the many inconveniences these mistakes caused. Having ordered from the firm previously I have been surprised and extremely disappointed by all of this.”
“Ordered and paid for 2 items on 14th May, both items showing in stock and normal lead time for delivery. Waited almost 2 months without sign of the items, no refund, no communication.
I called and emailed numerous times, even left voicemails but nothing. I had to raise a case through PayPal to discover that in the time from my order to complaint, Voyage became Riva and just ignored customers who'd paid but were waiting for items. No satisfactory reply from them via PayPal resolution so escalated to PayPal refund, then I received a call from Riva asking whether I still wanted the items, I explained I'd received nothing from them and had requested a refund. No apology, no offer of discount, nothing. Got my refund via PayPal.
I've happily bought many things from Voyage Maison and Voyage Outlet over the years and this was very disappointing. I've now looked online for the items I was waiting for and Riva appear to have inflated the prices. For instance, the Toby stool in Malleny Jute was £39 (but they didn't send it), it's now advertised on sale at £100. The Sitara throw was £59 (but they didn't send it) is now advertised by them for £208. I smell a rat.
I've previously recommended Voyage Maison to friends before, however I don't think I will and it looks like I'll have to look for somewhere else to shop in the future.
An explanation as to what happened to my order (you had my money for nearly 2 months) and why the prices are so inflated would be nice.”
“I saw your offer of 3 for 2 cushions and was hoping to be able to purchase cushions in the sale to match the Heather Moors blinds I purchased from you,
Unfortunately Heather Moors cushions were not in the sale and although I rang Customer Service they could not advise when they were likely to be available.
I purchased alternative cushions in a similar colour pallet I would still be interested to know when Heather Moors cushions might be available in the sale as Customer Service were not aware when this might be.”
“Product itself (chair) is good but the delivery from another company should have your company's name attached somewhere otherwise with so many scams around I,at first, disregarded their contact and had to check out with yourselves whether the company was valid or not”
“After a long delay, I received a lamp base and shade, the triangular piece on top of the legs was cracked all the way through on part of it. I offered If they replaced the item to transfer everything to the new one. They offered 20% discount to keep it which was ludicrous, it was worth a minimum 50% to get repaired. They made me send the complete base back, they paid the postage but nothing for the inconvenience. Company or product not recommended, this has been going on for 6-8 weeks”
