Delivery problems Twice in 3 weeks. No shopping arrived as ordered so phone store and told no drivers so you are not getting delivery. Had to go to store to pick up big shop. Waited over 45 minutes in click and collect space only to be brought someone else’s shopping! Lack of communication from Waitrose is appalling. They are usually really good but things seem to be slipping recently.

I purchased strawberries from the Uttoxeter branch and the best before date was the 14th Sept ( next day) Every single one was inedible -they were soft and completely tasteless. They looked as if they had been frozen?

I purchased an Organic Chicken from Ely Branch on Sunday 28th July 2024 it cost me £19.85. Cooked a lovely Roast dinner but I have never had a chicken as tough as that in my life it was inedible, extremely tough couldn’t even chew it to swallow it. I ended up throwing it all away. I tried to call Waitrose customer service on the 0800 number and they spoke to me then left me holding for a while and hung up on me what great customer service. Not good really is it. I will never buy another meat item again from Waitrose, what a waste of hard earned money.

Last 4 home deliveries products contained numerous items with 2&1 day use by dates !!!! This last one had 13 of the 24 items with 3,2&1 days use by dates - each time it’s just a refund for those items and no consideration for the inconvenience of having to have someone go out to buy those products again for me(am recuperating at home after big op) John Lewis/Waitrose your customer service is appalling !!

I order 24 bottles of wine earlier this morning as you had 25% discount on-line. I just had an extremely unpleasant phone call from a female staff member at your Sunningdale store, whose name I won’t mention. She was v v agressive and unpleasant and told me that she didn’t have my 24 bottles in stock and whilst I ordered on line that it was Sunningdale ONLY who fulfills these orders despite Windsor and Egham Waitrose branches being closer to where I live. When I said that the Waitrose website had said 24 bottles of the wine I ordered were in stock she spoke over me saying this was not true! The website advised me to lower the number of bottles I was ordering to 24 as that was all they had in stock! Why Waitrose do you employ agressive, rude staff members who enjoy bullying customers? She was a bully and told me she was cancelling my order as that particular branch would only fulfill my order despite the fact I ordered on line. This is simply not good enough

Waitrose Comely Bank in Edinburgh is a disgrace. The store remains open as it undergoes a complete overhaul - no customer parking, no freezers, shelves all half empty, no ceiling with wires hanging out everywhere and the grubby interior on show and over food, two human checkouts with the majority converted into self checkouts for an older shopper demographic. It’s been like this for weeks already and will be for another few weeks apparently. Absolutely appalling and Head Office don’t give a damn - even staff has said as much privately. All this from a loyal customer of many years who is defecting to M&S and / or any supermarket who cares about its customers. 😡

My son went to work here, he was politely greeted at first but a few weeks in he was bullied by a women called Amanda. She threw a rotten tomato at my son (only 19 years old) and she didn't even get the sack. I will be confronting the manager of this waitrose.

Went to Waitrose Bromley to do our occasional shop, only to find that the manned checkouts have been replaced by do it yourself checkouts. Only one manned till remaining with a long queue. Bearing in mind the prices Waitrose charge we expect proper customer service. We will never go to shop at Waitrose Bromley again. It seems clear that the top management at Waitrose couldn't give a toss about customer service.....or indeed the customer. Goodbye Waitrose.

Waitrose home delivery has disappointed me so much. I did multiple shopping to allow enough time to form an honest and fair opponion but look at the state of te vegetables and fruit! These are just examples from various orders I made. For the price charged it's absolutely unacceptable! Never happened with any other online supermarket. Will never online shop with Waitrose again!

I checked the receipt immediately at the store at Kingsthorpe, Northampton and found a Mother’s Day bouquet there for £45. Moreover, the store hasn’t even started selling them yet. Two sellers completely checked all three of my bags, scanned all my purchases, without even asking my permission. I stood there like a thief who had been caught, even though £45 had been taken from me. As a result, after 15 minutes of investigation, my £45 was returned to me...

One of the advantages of shopping with Waitrose were the personalised vouchers. However they suddenly stopped and the partners at the store that I had no idea why. I had not received any prior notification. When I contacted Waitrose on line I was told that change had been included when they recently changed their terms and conditions. Who looks at those? It seemed to me to be very sneaky. They broadcast when they reduce prices but not this what was, in effect, price increases.

They didn’t deliver my online delivery. I was at home all day waiting. Rather than reschedule they cancelled my order and I will not receive a refund before Xmas. This leaves us with no food this week or over the Xmas period. I have no money left in my account to order food elsewhere and I have children. Absolutely devastated

Just eaten a Waitrose ready meal, lamb in mint and redcurrant sauce. Can't believe how poor it was. There were exactly four very small pieces of meat swimming in sauce. Two of those chunks also consisted of half fat which has to be discarded leaving a tiny amount of meat. The sauce tasted all right but there was much too much of it in relation to the extremely miniscule amount of meat. Mashed potatoes and peas tasted fine but, again, portions way out of proportion to the meat. Expected more from Waitrose. My preferred ready meal is the no. 1 Moussaka but my local Caterham branch seems to have stopped stocking it for some reason.I I only buy ready meals rarely. I prefer to stick to gluten-free options which are few and far between. Please do a quality control check on this lamb meal as it appears not to be fit for purpose unless mine slipped through the control process.

Waited 5 mins for canteen assistant to finish chatting to another assistant, then he looked me in the face said sorry and walked off!!! Girl said I’ll be with you in a mo, waited again waited, waited then decided I’ll have a cuppa at home! Terrible service at Waitrose these days but still the same high prices!!!! Usually I have to wait while they are talking to one another on their head phones! Everyone mostly miserable. Lots of empty shelves. Unable to download gift voucher which I’ve checked and double checked. Veg and fruit not good usually poor best before dates. Delivery of fresh veg all over the place got worst. Don’t shop so often there now. The last time ages ago I had free membership coffee - bitter! A shame gone downhill

First time ordering online ordered some plant based ‘meat’ steaks as I thought I’d give these a try. Cost about£6 each so ordered 3 (£18) and then made rest of order up to £40 get delivery. Order arrived minus steaks. No advance warning given. Waitrose still advertising the products as available. Feels like I’ve been duped. I thought this supermarket had a good reputation. Complained and got a “we are deeply sorry” email, sounded insincere, so in future I will not buy from Waitrose.

I purchased Waitrose own moussaka yesterday The favour was good but there were potato slices on the top and then sloppy meat which spread over the plate like baby food. There was 3 pieces of aubergine amongst this concoction. It said it was best before MAR 25 … perhaps you’d better look at Charlie bighams recipe which has solid meat and and layers of veg. Come Waitrose you can do better than this. Christine Gates
