Asked them to value a watch I purchase off them 2 years prior. Identical condition with box, papers etc. They valued at less than 65% of what I bought it off them for. Either -they are looking for crazy margins -they overpriced when I paid -they have undervalued the resale. I asked for feedback as to why the low price, and total silence Look for private buyer networks first I would suggest

Extremely Poor Customer Experience and Aftercare – Avoid Watchfinder. I recently approached Watchfinder regarding the sale of my Breitling watch. Although the final offer was considerably lower than the initial estimate, I understood the process was non-committal and accepted that outcome. However, the real issues began upon the return of my watch. The original proof of purchase was not returned, and the box—which had been sent in immaculate condition—was returned dented and water-damaged. The outer packaging was completely intact, indicating this damage occurred while in Watchfinder’s possession. I contacted them immediately and while they were initially apologetic, their response was slow, uncoordinated, and unsatisfactory after months of emails and phone calls. I had to request compensation (none was offered) to reflect the lost value and/or a partial payment along with a replacement box. A replacement box was promised but never arrived, despite confirmation it had been dispatched. Meanwhile, they withheld any financial resolution while investigating the missing receipt—only to later admit they had destroyed it, citing it as "standard practice" for customer security, despite no sale having been agreed. What followed was a deeply frustrating experience with their aftersales team. I had to chase responses weekly via phone and email—progress was only made when senior managers were copied in. The aftersales relationship manager ignored requests from both me and colleagues, eventually offering a token £150 for the destruction of the receipt and refusing to acknowledge the broader impact of their errors. I suggested a fair exchange based on their average sale price for my model, but this was met with resistance. Rather than address the situation professionally, Watchfinder seemed more interested in profiting from my loss. In short, this company showed a complete lack of customer care, accountability, and after-sales professionalism. I'm relieved I tested them with a lower-value item and didn’t entrust them with higher-end pieces. Avoid Watchfinder at all costs.

Got an offer for watch having sent lots of photos - sent off and then they sent back a lower offer revised by over £350 claiming servicing - new strap (on a second hand worn watch!) - had watch returned to me and they had damaged the outer box by putting a sticker on something that didn't belong to them and when removed it made a mark - took lots of emails back and forth to get them to acknowledge this and eventually they said there was nothing they could do - and that the box damage that they caused wouldn't affect the second hand sell on value!!! Honestly don't waste your time with them!!!

Avoid allocating your funds to this organization due to their dissemination of misleading information regarding their platform and investment options. I, unfortunately, became a victim of their fraudulent activities, resulting in a substantial loss of over $93,180. Seeking assistance from ( lilo grace 75 @ gmail .com. ) proved to be beneficial as they facilitated the retrieval of my investment from these deceitful individuals.

Always been reticent to sell to watch finder as had heard mixed reviews but I thought I would give it a go, Agreed a price based on the watch which was just a couple of years old and in great condition (ceramic so cant be scratched or marked) Anyway they get the watch and keep it for a week without hearing anything, finally get a new offer £400 less for rubbish excuses, including a case refinish, how they plan todo this on a ceramic case I have no idea!!!! Avoid selling them your watch at all costs

Asked me three times for the same details to sell my watch. Took weeks to do it then made neither offer or valuation. I'm convinced their business is a front in order to send out endless junkmail.

Received my Rolex datejust, immediately noticed there was a rattle under the dial, also condensation in the face. Rang and spoke to support who arranged for it to be looked at. They came back telling me I had damaged the watch by getting it wet with the crown open and the warranty was void. This was absolutely not true and their "rigourous" testing they claim happen before sale is clearly not true. Don't trust them.

Bought a Montblanc watch for my son last year. His birthday wasn’t till October so lay in the box for a couple of months. When he started to wear it the strap started to break down and went into holes after a few times wearing it. Contacted Watchfinder in December last year and I’m still waiting on a replacement strap. Jess was the first girl now I’m talking to Abbie. I’m now buying a new strap and won’t recommend Watchfinder to anyone else. I’ve bought two watches from them. Terrible after sales service.

Horrific, criminal company. I bought a watch 7 months ago. I returned it to the shop and it was inspected there in front of me. I was promised a full refund within a week. I'm still waiting. Returning emails is non existent and telephone calls are like banging your head against a brick wall. DO NOT USE!

Got a quote of $4700 for my Date Just. Sent it to them. After waiting a week and a half I call them. The guy says they are sending it back. I was incredulous. Its in beautiful shape??? He didn't say why. I had paid $100 dollars for $5000 insurance that I'm now out. A couple days later It says to call them. I call today and they say I should get it back today. I received it and its stopped ! I always have it on a Wolf Winder. Now I'm out about $1100. Crooks.

An extremely unprofessional company from top to bottom. If you're selling then don't approach these guys, they will either rip you off on the price or just completely waste your time.

Would absolutely give Watchfinder & Co. > ZERO stars if such a rating was possible. Why? My watch, a Tag Heuer Carrera Calibre 02 "Batman" Skeleton Chronograph GMT, which I purchased in late March 2023 from Tag Heuer in Las Vegas was returned to me after the sales fell through. The sale fell through because I questioned why the offer price had been reduced twice, the second reduction in price was small, but the reason stated by Anthony Nguyen was an outright lie. Anthony stated that "my offer price was slightly reduced because I was not trading in for another watch." When I directly confronted Daylan about employees skimming/embezzling from customers he hung up on me. Fortunately my watch was returned, BUT the service team damaged my watch when they attempted to polish a very fine superficial scratch from the case opposite the crown side. It now looks like sandpaper was used on the case and the finish is damaged. I have reached out multiple times to resolve the issue and like so many others, I have been unable to contact WF&Co. That's ok...my watch is under warranty with Tag Heuer where I am sending in for a proper repair and documentation of the damage caused by Watchfinder & Co. Once this process is complete I will be filing complaints with the following agencies: 1. Letitia James, NY Attorney General, Office of the Attorney General Consumer Frauds/Complaint Bureau 2. United States Department of Justice Criminal Division, Fraud Section, Corporate Enforcement I would encourage anyone who has experienced questionable price reductions from the initial offer price for reasons that did not align with Watchfinder & Co. policy to consider filing with the above agencies as well. The end state is to ensure past, current and future customers are not being defrauded by employees of WF&Co.

BEWARE!! DO NOT ORDER from Watchfinder. The Rolex watch I ordered BROKE in 3 uses and can't even be used. They DO NOT answer any calls or messages. We called every phone number we could find and it always goes to voicemail and they NEVER call you back. You CAN'T get ahold of them, they will NOT answer. We had to take the watch into a local Rolex Jewelry store and have it repaired costing us $1,000 out of our pocket. We called and messaged Watchfinder about 15 times over and over because the watch supposedly comes with their warranty. They NEVER answered. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!! I would leave ZERO stars if it was possible.
