“I am now in my second season with WaterGuru - Sense. I have found it is easy to use and it made a huge difference with checking the balance for my inground pool. I know this technology has been around for years with friends having full computer systems monitoring their pools. However, not everyone has that kind of budget.
Every morning I get the report for the day at a time I set to check the chemicals. I then make the adjustments, quick and easy.
There are additional things that the Sense checks which saved me a huge heartache last year. The Sense also monitors the pump flow. As it turned out my pump was beginning to fail. I was able to replace it before total failure. Big win.
There are changes that I would like to see. Real-time temperature sent to the app without having to use the consumable cartridge.
In summary, a must-have for most pool owners.”
“i have a love/hate relationship with this. On the positive side, the daily feedback remotely of PH/Free Chlorine is incredibly helpful for a guy with two homes and two pools. On the negative side, the cartidges are expensive and the failure rate on daily testing is annoying as it comes and goes. also, the cartidges do not always come close to the two months of service many times. It seems to be a not unusual tech product whose hardware has not caught up to iits IT.”
“I like the convenience of adding this to my pool. One thing I find is a daily check of the pool by the device is excessive and as far as I can tell, I can't change. This leads to the cartridges being replaced more often costing me more in the long run. Prior to adding this device to my pool I tested weekly. If this can be changed it would be a 5 star rating.”

“This is a very simplistic device that checks your water for chlorine, pH, tempurature, and water flow. I have it set up to test daily. The results go to my phone. I would recommend professional testing at the beginning of the season. I use the Waterguru for daily testing year round, in session and out of season. I keep my pool running 24/7. I live in the Memphis, tn area. The only additional cost are the test cartridges, which you can get 3 for $50. I cannot recommend this device enough...”

“When it works it’s great. I validate the measurements using other methods and the two sets of data match. Unfortunately, I’m now on my third unit. The first stopped communicating. The second unit was exposed to large amounts of rock dust ( sawing pavers around the pool) and eventually the motor bound up and ate batteries. This one was my fault. The first failure was a failure in the unit.”

“This product is easy to setup. Just put batteries in, setup Wi-Fi, and go. I look at my phone and see how the chemical results of my pool instantly. It also measures the pump strength which gives me an idea of whether I need to empty my skimmer basket or not. This is an amazing product that I look forward to using all summer long.
I contacted customer support because I could not connect my guru because it had been owned by someone else. I purchased it from an auction. I had no way of contacting the previous owner. Initially, customer service did not resolve the issue, and kind of left me hanging a bit. but with further pestering and sending it to a higher level customer service area, the issue was resolved. “Love this product. I have used both pHin and Sutro and this is better. Accurate readings when you want them. After requesting reading it takes a few minutes then waterguru sends notification. Buy extra cartridges in advance they last about 8 weeks and no subscription.”
“I installed Haywards Sense and dispense in my pool. It did not work well enough for me to leave my pool for several weeks. I put the WaterGuru in my skimmer in a few minutes. It lets me know daily how my pool is doing. I maintain my pool myself and with the WaterGuru it’s very easy.”
