If you want an efficient delivery service then: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. My advice would be to pay extra and purchase elsewhere. Very dissatisfied with the service. Will never be using this company again. Buyers beware.

It is ridiculous asking for a review on a company that hasn't delivered an order yet. I placed an order two weeks ago and haven't received an update. I was told there was a two week wait on part of the order, but the item in stock hasn't been delivered.

The item arrived ok but one of the corner straps came away the next day after fitting. Despite sending a photo attached email to them, I heard nothing more from them

I ordered a duvet because some family was coming over. I stayed at my place all day to ensure I would have it on the right day but the driver rang the wrong doorbell. From then on, it was impossible to contact anyone. When I managed to contact someone at The wool room, she proposed after seeming to doubt my version of the fact to give me a refund as I needed the duvet for that day. I accepted but have yet to get any emails from them confirming it except some marketing emails asking me for a review. Mistake can happen at delivery, it's all you deal with it that makes it a good service or not, this was a good customer service.

I ordered 2 items. One was damaged (the item itself, not caused by delivery) and I chose to return both items for refund. Customer Services advised returning items to Head Office rather than the usual warehouse address, by Signed For post with Royal Mail. This cost me £12. The Wool Room has acknowledged receiving the package and refunded the cost of the items but NOT the cost of securely returning damaged goods in the manner they advise. I will not order from this company again.

Dear Customer, we're sorry that you weren't happy with your purchases on this occasion. Our refund process does not usually take into account postage, on these occasions we need to have communication from the customer with regards to the fault and the amount for postage refund. Please get in touch via email or phone so that we may clarify the situation: jen@thewoolroom.com or 01780 461 220. Kind Regards, The Wool Room.

WARNING this bedding system does not work for everyone. I bought a mattress protector and an all seasons deluxe duvet, using the lighter half to start with, to try to combat the overheating I am suffering from at night in bed, but it did nothing to help my situation. In fact I was warmer than I had been with my 4.5tog man made duvet. On contacting the company I was told 'this was certainly a first' despite another customer reporting exactly the same problems only a month ago. Types of mattress and bedding were explored as a possible cause of the problem. Because I had not purchased a pillow, i.e 'a bedding set' - I had not realised you could mix doubles and singles in a bedding set - there was no guarantee on offer. I have my doubts as to whether a wool pillow would make a difference. My advice is before you make this expensive purchase is to talk to the company to ensure you have a suitable mattress, tell them why you are buying wool and ensure your purchase qualifies for a 30 day money back guarantee.

Dear Customer. We are sorry to read that you're still unhappy with your wool bedding. I would urge you to keep the products and try again in a couple of weeks. It can take a week or two of use for some people's bodies to adjust to the way a wool bedding works. This has been the case a couple of times in the last few years. Your body gets into a routine and sometimes it can take a while to break that. My colleague is correct in saying that we've not had this situation before - the previous customer only had the duvet and not the mattress protector (which is our most popular and successful item when combating overheating). Your mattress may well be the source of your overheating troubles, but many things can cause overheating at night. While our bedding works in the majority of cases there are a few circumstances where it may not. I would encourage you to return to the wool bedding when the weather cools a little as this may aid your transition into a comfortable night sleep with all the additional benefits our products bring. Kind Regards, The Wool Room Team.
