“Books delivered in good condition. But delivery by Evri was appalling. On both occasions, the delivery man left the parcel next to the front doorstep late at night and didn't knock the door knocker. The parcels were left there all night, exposed to the wet weather and available to be stolen. I got an email from Evri "confirming" the first delivery, with a blurred photo of a completely different parcel outside someone else's (unidentifiable) gate. You presumably use this appallingly incompetent delivery company because they are cheaper than Royal Mail (who you used to use). They are consistently rated by Which? (Consumers Association) as the worst parcel delivery company in the UK, and in my local area people are up in arms about their dreadful, deceitful service. You cannot complain to them as they have no contact address for recipients to complain. Here's my promise: I use Wordery in preference to Amazon, but if my next order from you is delivered by Evri, I will go back to Amazon thereafter and not use Wordery until you stop employing this dreadful delivery company. They are destroying your reputation.”

“All the parcels arrived - eventually. The delays were excessive and not what I guess most of your customers would expect these days. I do appreciate that this was pre-Christmas and we have industrial actions. What I do object to is the soggy package and damaged book that was "delivered" on 19 December by leaving behind the planter at my front door. It was frosty at the time, the driver did not know that I was in Wales, nor that the weather would turn wet. My copy of Infinite Jest was sodden. I do not blame the driver, I blame YOU. Please forward a return label and reissue the damaged book.”
