“I ordered 3 t shirts and 1 pair of leggings from American Eagle. I was SO excited for them to arrive at my house. Once, I got them I was even happier!! I love their soft t shirts and the chill leggings were so comfy and soft! I love shopping here and love seeing the ads from American Eagle and all the diversity with their models.”

“I phoned the Metrotown AE and Aerie shop to discuss return options after having little success with the AE live chat option on their website and phoning the central AE line. Becks answered the phone even before the store was opened (I am sure she was busy preparing the floor for the day and so appreciate that someone answered the phone). She explained to me that I could make returns and exchanges for online purchases in the store. Becks even took time to search the store for the items I requested. I went to the Metrotown location today (June 30, 2018) and successfully exchanged items I had ordered online. They did not have the exact items I hoped for in the store but Becks was most expertise and helpful at connecting me with the items I hoped for. There were some complications with the system but she stayed calm, friendly and professional the whole time. Becks is the best! I had such a lovely experience and will certainly be going to the Metrotown (Burnaby, Canada) AE soon! Thanks Becks!”

“Bought bright blue jeggings last week. I love American Eagle jeans because they have sizes that can fit anyone. I am very short and they seem to be the only reasonably priced jean that fits my needs.”

“So, last July I went to a store to buy some of my absolute favourite jeans. And I was so disappointed to find that they are now ON LINE ONLY!!!! Why????? Ugh. Anyways. I was nervous about buying online and having to send them back if they didn’t fit. But.....The online option offered me a promo code. Free shipping and a heavy discount. I got two pairs for 40$ of my fave jeans! Skinny Kick! when they arrived I was so happy! They fit like a glove! Although it worked out really well in the end. I do wish A.E would bring these back to the store. From the reviews on the app they’re popular enough. Most of us who know about skinny kick. Are forever hooked on these jeans. Everyone needs their perfect jean. And A.E needs to bring these backs to stores.”

“I ordered 3 items, first of all they split up my delivery into multiple packages, and then they changed my delivery date 3 times! they kept pushing the day back and i was left waiting. was not impressed”

“Obviously the world is used to poor customer service at this point & just accepts it. I worked CS for over 20 yrs and the level of rude and incompetent CS agents now is ridiculous. I called CS because my order was supposed to deliver on Aug 18th but it's been sitting at FedEx hub for 7 days now. I called both AE CS and FedEx CS and both were incompetent. The least the CS Agent could do is call FedEx and find out what's going on as officially they were the customer at that point and she should've done it for a customer who needed help finding a product they shipped. And if she couldn't do that then pass me on to someone who could. Come on! Not that hard!! That's exactly what I would have done. So are they too lazy to do it? I called back to FedEx CS and they at least are attempting to do something now. This is exhausting and very disappointing. And my package (clothing for 14 yr old for school) STILL is not here! So stores, warehouses and companies hire and train these people and reprimand or fire them if they do not do their job correctly...period!!”

“I have called three times and still have to call once more to get my rewards account fixed the right way people have made things so difficult just to switch an e mail that was under my husband's with my phone number and I'm his wife lol so after three times on the phone and once in a store I'm also got my 25 dollars that I deserve for shopping there i just thought I'd let other customers know to be very careful when u sign up for the reward program cause it is extremely difficult to get it fixed if u sign up wrong .”

“I’ve never had any issues with American Eagle underwear but this new pair I bought was made very cheaply. I wore an overnight pad and when I tried to remove it is pulled out all the threads. And some of the pad stuck to it.”

“I feel like American eagles delivery process is so trash. Takes up to a week to get a email saying your orders being delayed and might take awhile. Also when I buy the same exact shirt just different colors it still gets delivered separately. I feel like right now with covid if this was going to hurt the companies distributors they shouldn’t be having sales on clothes everyday if they can’t ever ship them out on time!!!”
