Obviously I will start with saying that they are not worth 1 rating. I have ordered 3 pairs of jeans worth AUD 200 on 24th of July, and after a month (3 days short), and a thread consisting of 11 emails, and four unsolved tickets, on 21st of August 2024, they declared that the package is untraceable and started a refund which is going to happen in 10 days. They know that they lost the package on 7th August, but they made me wait for 15 days to even update the actual status. this is the best example of how your ecommerce should not be.

Alan Woods Foothills Mall store 2046 I have shopped at this American Eagle for many years. Alan is an asset to your company. His ability to assist customers, manage the store, and remain polite and friendly are a few things he does extremely well. He would be an excellent trainer or opener for any store. If it was my business, I’d find a place for him to do even more. I don’t personally know him, but I know an exceptional employee when I see one. If he owned the store he could not do any better. He is amazing. When I order and pick up at the store, he asks me how it fit and offers to get different sizes. He always gives me time to browse before trying on what I ordered. He prepares a room and puts my merchandise in it as I shop. He gives suggestions on the merchandise in the store. I always end up buying more and I’m very happy with what I buy. Alan is fantastic. This is the third time I’ve written to you. He has never received any feedback. He should definitely be advanced.

First online order was when COVID hit and I was very skeptical about the entire process. Three years later they are my #1 go to. I only shop sales, primarily women's pants/jeans. I'm older with a tummy and currently wear a 12 in pants and 50% of the time one size bigger in jeans. Oh, and if you haven't gone high rise yet...omg, you will never go low again! No more belly aches and it it flattens it. Anyway, I buy more than I normally would, because of how often I have success with my purchases (orders) and because of their amazing return policy. There is no return by date. Seriously, I have returned half of my large orders (ordered two colors too see which I prefer etc) 8 months later without a single question. I personally just return orders at my local store so I get refunded same day, but it's probably as easy to return through delivery like ups etc. I'm not certain, but I think returns are free unless you don't have printer then you will pay $2.50 for ups to print one for you at the UPS store. Generally, my orders are shipped to me free the same week, but COVID has delayed deliveries in my area on occasion. I highly recommend American Eagle and I used to only shop thrift stores before COVID era. I actually save $ now cuz I buy exactly what I want in the right size instead of 10 not quite right items.

Recently I made an online purchase via Americaneagle india website. I paid rs5000 but the order was cancelled by unknown reason and the company not refunded the amount. Customer care support is wastage , no use . kind of cheating people . Contacted many times but no response. So people stay away from the company suggest not to make any online orders .

The jeans have very poor quality and have different sizing, although they are the same model in different colors. Of course I had to pay for the return shipment to America myself (21€!!!!). My package was delivered to the returns center on 10/28 and to this day I still have no confirmation of receipt or notification of how my return was handled. The customer service does not even respond to my hat emails, despite supposed 24h response guarantee. I would NEVER order from there again. Update 11/23/2022: I still have not received anything, neither a reply, nor my money. I am now suing my money back via Paypal, as I see no other way out.

I'm super patient and never leave bad reviews but AE.com made me so angry I couldn't stop myself > The cart was automatically making the number of products higher during checkout! I couldn't understand why the amount goes up, until I found out this bug > They told that shipping address doesn't match a billing address and for that reason I can't pay with any of my cards. However, that was a lie, bc one of the orders finally went through (unfortunately) even though it still didn't match > I tried to place an order 4 times. Every time something went wrong. 3 orders were cancelled by them and finally reimbursed, 4th order got stuck in limbo. I don't even know if I will ever get my money bc they can't cancel the order which they deliver to wrong address and they say they 'don't know' where and how it'll be delivered (if ever). But until it's delivered money can't be returned (WTF?). And it will take them 1 month to find out and another two weeks to initiate return > Delivery address can't be changed, orders can't be cancelled. So you order things wrongly because their cart doubles or triples things in you cart and then they deny a cancellation > Never use an express delivery. You will not see your refund, you can't cancel it, and the deadline won't be met anyways (it takes them 2 days to find out they don't have the goods you want. And they state delivery is 3 days lol). >I never spent so much time, money, nerves to order things online and never faced such an unprofessional customer support. Awful awful experience

Don’t be fooled with online promotions and end up with wasting your time and money!!! They have buried ridiculous terms and conditions somewhere hidden in the app and expect each customers to know all about it ?! What a disappointing experience I had! Extremely unprofessional and poor customer support when trying to return online bought items. American eagle not able to make simple math calculations for returns!? I had fitting items that I kept, used and I wanted to return some unfit items. But I was asked to return ALL the items in unused condition regardless or they won’t be accepting any partial returns! I have been shopping online with many known brands with same promotions and none have ever created any issue on return items.. .Why customers have to suffer because American Eagle can’t get their math/accounting correct! I now ended up with unfitting items and AE simple don’t care at all! Everyone please be cautious before making any promotional purchases as most likely you will be fooled like me. I will be raising the same in consumer authorities too. You have no right to refuse unused items because they are on promotion!

Obviously the world is used to poor customer service at this point & just accepts it. I worked CS for over 20 yrs and the level of rude and incompetent CS agents now is ridiculous. I called CS because my order was supposed to deliver on Aug 18th but it's been sitting at FedEx hub for 7 days now. I called both AE CS and FedEx CS and both were incompetent. The least the CS Agent could do is call FedEx and find out what's going on as officially they were the customer at that point and she should've done it for a customer who needed help finding a product they shipped. And if she couldn't do that then pass me on to someone who could. Come on! Not that hard!! That's exactly what I would have done. So are they too lazy to do it? I called back to FedEx CS and they at least are attempting to do something now. This is exhausting and very disappointing. And my package (clothing for 14 yr old for school) STILL is not here! So stores, warehouses and companies hire and train these people and reprimand or fire them if they do not do their job correctly...period!!

After shopping and collecting an armful of clothing to try on, I went to the dressing room 14 minutes before closing. I was told that the dressing room was closed. Please give customers the courtesy of an announcement before cutting off the dressing room. This store missed out of hundreds of dollars in sales because I was not going to buy, try on at home and then return items.

I am totally disappointed about the jeans that I ordered online from the American Eagle website. The material was of bad quality, which was also damaged. Strongly recommend not to purchase from the store. Instead, opt for buying from offline stores where the quality could be easily verified.

I love the shirt but it’s much more brown rather than the purple it looks in the pictures. I got the aerie distressed v-neck oversized boyfriend t-shirt in the color relic.

I live in one city and went to another go shopping with my daughter at Aerie as a treat for her birthday. We spent over $100 and later we discovered that the store didn't remove the security tags. Not to mention the people weren't very nice or helpful in the store. After speaking with Jack at corporate I was told I would have to drive all the way back to have the tags removed. And the only thing they could offer for my gas, time and trouble was a 25% coupon. I simply asked if I could send the items back in and they could send the same items out in the mail. I do work a job and live in a different city and gas is very costly. In short the only resolve would be for me to drive all the way back for the tags to be removed and get a comp of a coupon so I could spend more money with a company that doesn't seem to care about their customers time or store experience. Not one person has seemed to care. And apparently the security tags are a joke, they never even went off.

I Ordered a pair of pants for my daughter on February 6. Was told I would be getting it within 2 to 5 business days. It’s now February 22 and I still don’t have the pair of pants. When I called the store to ask about the status the girl was very rude and had horrible customer service. The girls name I spoke with was America. Basically she said she couldn’t help me and she couldn’t refund me back the money. I asked to speak to someone higher than herself and she said she wasn’t working at the moment. When I asked her what her supervisors name was she tells me I can’t give it to you. I am super upset and will never shop at the Ingram store again. America needs a training on customer. She had a horrible attitude!!!!!!!!

Super great customer service. There return policy is better than lulus at this point. Everyone is always kind, seem happy to help, and I love there clothes. There price seems to be pretty reasonable for a brand name, especially when it’s on sale or you have a rewards program.

I have called three times and still have to call once more to get my rewards account fixed the right way people have made things so difficult just to switch an e mail that was under my husband's with my phone number and I'm his wife lol so after three times on the phone and once in a store I'm also got my 25 dollars that I deserve for shopping there i just thought I'd let other customers know to be very careful when u sign up for the reward program cause it is extremely difficult to get it fixed if u sign up wrong .

Been shopping here for years! I’m usually able to get amazing deals because there is almost always good deals going on! Clothes have great quality and fit fairly well. Would buy the whole selection if I could!
