“I have been shopping at American Eagle/Aerie for quite a while and I think it’s save to say that I’m obsessed! I have never had any issues with customer service in stores. The employees have always been super nice and very helpful. American Eagle/Aerie always has great sales and deals that make the price a bit more bearable. But honestly, I don’t even mind spending the money because I know that the clothes are great! Every time I order online, the shipment comes within 5 days at most. The only time it’s ever been longer is when they didn’t have the item in stock and I had to wait a few more days for it to get restocked. They returns have always been easy from my experiences. I always go to the store for returns, just because that’s what’s easier for me to do. The employees have always been super helpful and they get it done fairly quickly. I usually either exchange or get store credit on my returns. It’s all been super easy from what i’ve experienced. I buy most of my clothes from American Eagle because they always have styles that are in trend and that I love. The clothing itself is very durable and doesn’t feel cheaply made, like some other brands I’ve tried. I’ve never had any experience with clothing getting discolored or ripped or anything like that. The clothes always fit really well. Other than the one time that I bought a pair of mom shorts in my usual size and they felt a couple sizes too small. That is the only bad sizing experience I have had with them. However, the return was super easy. I would say always read other peoples reviews on the items before buying. I buy all my jeans from there and they are my absolute favorite jeans that I’ve ever purchased! It’s always been difficult for me to find jeans that fit because I have a smaller waist, thick hips and thighs, and long legs. For reference, I can fit a size 12/14 in the waist comfortably, but for my hips and thighs to be comfortable, I would go a size 16/18. I love the super stretch jeggings. They are stretchy enough that I can get a size that’s comfortable in the waist and my hips and thighs won’t suffocate. I usually order them in long if they have them in stock because they are the perfect length for me. They also have a good size range compared to some of the other stores I’ve been to. They always have adorable tops! I feel like every time I go in there, I find a bunch of tops that I adore! I’ve never had any issues with their tops or their dresses either. I would recommend checking the size charts if you’ve never shopped there before because different brands have different sizing. But overall, I would recommend shopping at American Eagle/Aerie to anyone. It is definitely worth checking out!”

“This store is always clean and nice, with friendly staff. They have great sales and great customer service. There is a lot to choose from. The atmosphere is great. The employees will go out of there way to make sure you find what you are looking for.”

“Ordered high waisted flare and am a UK 12. Bought the US 10 and the quality, as always, is excellent. Not just for the price but compared to any jean. My old pair are AE and I had them for about 6 years before they showed signs of wear and tear. The new ones are immensely flattering, fit beautifully and fall well. I find it exceedingly difficult to find jeans that are slimming for the curvier figure and I don't think I could be happier than with these jeans.”

“Terrible customer support online. Website return labels print button doesn’t work. Paying to return? Come on guys. Other companies are doing this way better. Create a print button for the app. And again terrible customer service.”

“From Julie Escott and my Dad Danny Thompson...I'm a 43 year old stay at home mom of twins...when I was younger loved American Eagle, style and fit. My husband works, I stay at home (hardest...and most rewarding job😘) We don't buy clothes for ourselves much anymore, spend our money on them (they make us beautiful now.😘) My old school parents came to spend the week with the girls this week, My dad offered a gift card to buy some sweatpants clothes... went to American Eagle, picked out some comfy sweats and shirts, entered in the gift card...web site had problems. Called the number...while putting the girls to bed, thinking this is too much trouble, I'll buy something elsewhere, the customer service guy was so awesome, still didn't go through, got the number so my Dad could call back with a regular credit card, he called, he said she was awesome about the customer service lady he talked to, got it done (he's almost 70 and old school 😘) Love guys... your customer service people rocked it out. Love your clothes and fit, this Mamma is excited to keep on wearing your clothes at 43 and for them to come in the mail in a few days!🙌🙌🙌💖💖💖”

“I’ve shopped here since I was a teen. They have always had great quality and was a go to because I’m tall and they were very accommodating to my size. Fast forward to the last two years. I have really been dissatisfied with the quality of the clothing, and the sizes! EVERY.SINGLE. Shirt I buy winds up being a crop top. On the model these shirts come down past the zipper of the jeans, almost to the crotch. When I get my shirt, however, it looks NOTHING like what I saw. I understand body types are different, but if the model pictured is my height and body type what’s the excuse?! Not everyone wants to wear crop tops! I don’t know why I keep going back and wasting the money. Honestly I’m deleting the app and never shopping here again. I have wasted probably about 600$ in the last year on clothes I’ll never wear. Maybe I’ll find a dwarf to sell them to. Or maybe a toddler 🤷🏻‍♀️ #done”

“I love this store. The clothes are so so cute at amazing prices. There very size inclusive. I am generally tall and have very long legs so being able to get talls is a life saver. Over all 10/10 recommend this brand”

“I bought a pair of jeans in store and they had a great fit, great length, great rise and I will buy many more pairs from the store! The quality is really nice and they are pretty well priced jeans. I got the Next Level Jeggings in the colour Starburst Blue and they were a little lighter in store than online but overall I love the jeans so much! I’m 5”11 and I weigh 140 lbs, I ordered the size 4 X Long and they were perfect!!”

“Yup... pretty unhappy. Free return label was great but I was just told at LEASt two weeks for credit or exchange. And another two weeks after that for possible replacement. Poor Service. I will never online order from them again!!!”

“My first time ordering items from them. I ordered because of a 10 for $35 sale. I ordered multiple sizes/styles because I didn't know how they would fit. I had to exchange some of them because of style/fit. I tried going to my local AE to exchange them but no local stores carry the items. I was forced to return them through the mail. Most online retailers wave the return shipping fee when doing an exchange... but not AE. I paid the shipping anyway. The sale price was refunded and the pairs for the exchange were charged at FULL price (they were included in the sale at the time of purchase and exchange)! This is a bad business practice, not only does the customer have to pay for shipping both directions but then to not exchange the item, but refund and charge the replacements at full price. Never again will I shop here!”

“I was in store 134/Moorestown Mall and has the best experience with two employees- Morgan (keyholder) and Olivia (sales associate). I was taking a break from shopping for my last gift for the holidays and found a sweater that I fell in love with, thanks to Morgan. Olivia helped me in the fitting area and as she was showing me some other items, led me to the socks which turned out to be the absolutely perfect gift for that last person on my list! It was only by interacting with me and listening to me that Olivia knew what I needed. AE should be proud to have these two women representing their brand. I walked out with a huge smile on my face and, trust me, I was definitely not smiling when I walked in! Thank you, American Eagle, Morgan and Olivia!”

“I was recently in the Erie store and I had the absolutely best experience. A girl named kaitlyn helped me find a ton of Christmas gifts for my grand children! She even convinced me to try on some things for myself! She made me show her what I looked like in the outfits she choose and I have never felt to confident in myself after trying on clothes or after Christmas gift shopping. She was absolutely amazing and made me feel so much better about myself!”

“I order all the time from American Eagle, for myself and my kids. Usually have a great experience. This time I had a gift card to use on myself, I ordered 2 pair of jeans. First pair came quickly in the mail and fit perfect when I tryed them on and I put them in the wash to wear the next day. When I wore them I noticed the inseam looked like it was about to pull apart. But Ok, it happens. Few days later the next pair comes....Wrong size and has a security tag on it. When I called they told my I would have to wait two weeks for a refund on the gift card and then reorder online. They don't sell my size in store. They offered me no compensation for the inconvenience. So I'm out the money and have no Pants. Ugg. So Disheartening.”

“AE canceled my order without notice but took my money almost immediately. This is the second time it has happened and I am very angry about it. After taking the time to shop online and process the order they just say "hey the items are not in stock any more". Horrible experience the first time as it took two very angry phone calls for them to release the funds on my account. I can only imagine how things are going to go this time. I am canceling my AE account as soon as my money is released.”

“I ordered 3 t shirts and 1 pair of leggings from American Eagle. I was SO excited for them to arrive at my house. Once, I got them I was even happier!! I love their soft t shirts and the chill leggings were so comfy and soft! I love shopping here and love seeing the ads from American Eagle and all the diversity with their models.”

“I ordered 16 items and 2 arrived in tact. The company ignored my questions, provided no help in locating the items, and have been cold and unhelpful. I have photographic evidence of my torn up and poorly sealed packaging, plus correspondence with the shipping company, FedEx. Still, American Eagle Outfitters have been completely unhelpful, if not downright rude.”
