Product was as described and the price was good but the packaging was bad so damaged when arrived

Hi We received the goods in good condition and unfortunately had to return the bathroom cabinet as it was too big. We returned the cabinet and know you received it over 2 weeks ago but after an e-mail and telephone call, we still have not been refunded and hope we can received this soon to allow us to buy another cabinet.

Good morning Sarah, I have taken a look into this, we tried to deliver it twice to your address, however, because no one was able to receive your goods it has been returned to our warehouse. Items were great however BEWARE as website confusing. Ordered through link wrong item arrived and customer service were unprepared to allow me to return without it costing ME nearly £20!! Told me it was item I ordered (which it was however mistake was made through confusing website) no good faith or anything and was basically told never had problem before so tough!! Basically also called me a liar!! Not great customer service so will not be ordering for my other Items! Your loss bathroom village!

Upon reviewing this case it appears our communication has been completely helpful, in fact, we've provided stellar customer service through email and telephone. We have provided these options: 1. Send the (incorrectly ordered) item back to us 2. Pay for the item required and arrange to send back the incorrectly ordered item for a refund. (We would pay for the delivery for the new item to the customer's address and the customer would have to pay to send the items back to us, there are costs on both sides) 3. Finally to arrange to send everything back to us for a full refund The website has the correct image, name and product code. We ask that our customers check and recheck the items they are ordering and if you're in doubt our friendly customer service team will be on hand to help you through your order. Once again thank you for your review and for choosing Bathroom Village.

My order arrived a week late and only after I chased it by phoning directly. The delay was costly because I’d booked in bathroom fitters who had nothing to fit! The actual products look great but I’m disappointed at the palaver involved in getting hold of them.

We're very sorry to hear this. It's not the level of service we strive for. We have recently received a large number of calls so we cannot apologise enough to those who have not been able to get through. To tackle this issue we have now expanded our customer service team. We are focusing on minimising any calls being missed and we are being far more proactive than ever before in making sure customers are informed and kept up to date. Thank you for the review. Delivered to billing address instead of delivery address which was 100 miles away. Yet customer services told me they wouldn't pay for a more speedy courier to deliver to correct address as it more expensive. Another suggestion was that the boxes were small enough to fit in a car boot so if I could pick it up on my next trip there lol. No clue about going extra mile when a mistake is made. Disappointing on both despatch and customer service front . product was good at good price and 2nd customer service chap was a better. The package still had to be picked up from 100 miles away !

I made a mistake & ordered a toilet incorrectly and so had to come back to you to arrange a return & order a replacement. I have been advised that I have to sort the return myself. However the courier you used took the toilet off the palette and the box came apart slightly. Due to the weight it clearly needed to be on a palette which I don’t have. I find it pretty ridiculous that you would expect a customer to be able to return something so heavy when they wouldn’t have a courier contract in place. This would make me not want to use you again. I order a lot online and have never once had to find a courier myself to return an item. This really sets you apart from other businesses. Surely the most sensible option for customer satisfaction is to arrange the return with your courier and deduct the cost from the refund. My other option was to drop it off in Plymouth - 230 miles from where I live. Not ideal.

Original service by older salesman excellent. When delivery error; service by younger salesman at Wellington a nightmare. Failed to return 3 calls as promised - no apology. Did not grasp urgency of exchanging wrong goods - plumber already here. Goods due for exchange by 08.30 yesterday. By 9.30 nothing. On calling, last delivery of day. No apology. Man arrived without our goods. Beggars belief. Finally arrived 07.45 today, a week late. Del. note says customer changed mind - NO- wrong goods sent!

Item was sat in warehouse for over 2 weeks before eventually being dispatched. 3 phone calls were required before item was eventually dispatched with each conversation differing in excuses. High shipping fees also for such a small item. Great price on item tainted by poor delivery and customer service experience.

All started off fine, even had a phone call to explain when delivery would take place. Unfortunately UK Mail was the delivery company. My package was delivered to the wrong number house in the wrong street and was brought to me by the occupier of this house as it was dumped on their doorstep. Not impressed!

Very expensive p&p. Even emailed and called about the cost as I bought just two little glass corner shelves, a toilet roll holder and a towel rung. I was told it was expensive due to the packaging of the glass shelves however when the order arrived there was no extra packaging to warrant the extra charge?! Nice products but you've lost me as a future customer

Extortionate postage for item that could have been posted with Royal Mail. Ridiculously large packaging meant courier had to return it to the depot so despite expensive delivery had to drive 20 miles to collect it. Could have been put through letter box.

We can only apologise for the inconvenience here. We have passed on your feedback to Britton, to see if we can reduce the size of packaging for items like this. It does seem a bit ridiculous that this can't be in a smaller package! Let us know if you need anything else

Unfortunately Heritage changed the finish of the "gold" range while keeping the same darker colour images. We have since removed all of the gold images from the website to ensure this doesn't happen again. We can only sincerely apologise for this and hope to hear from you in the future.

Unfortunately at the time our head of customer services Chris left the company, and his emails & telephone did not get forwarded correctly. This has since been resolved, and we can only apologise for the unfortunate position you were put in. With regards to the toilet roll holder, on rare occasions certain items get discontinued by our suppliers, we have since updated our systems to get this information faster so we can pass this on to our customers. Once again we sincerely apologise for your experience, and we hope to make it up to you in the future if you do need anything else.

Unfortunately Heritage decided to change suppliers for their basin waste, and forgot to tell us/provide a new image. We are currently looking to get a new image sorted asap. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this caused you, and please believe we are actively working to sort this issue out.
