I ordered numerous trees in March. Delivered promptly and planted. The 4 apples and a quince took fine, as did the berry bushes I ordered, and cherry super columns appeared to. However, 2 cherry trees and a gage did not do anything and appeared dead within about 5 weeks of planting. I emailed at start of May about these, asking if there was anything I should do to try and revive them. No response. Then, over the summer, 3 of the 4 cherry super columns - which initially had leaf - died. I phoned at start August and a helpful lady took details. At this point, I just wanted to get replacement trees and buy 2 more to complete my garden orchard (which is the 3rd orchard I have planted, being an experienced gardener). I forwarded my sales receipt and also the mail I had sent about 3 failed trees at start of May. I was told they needed samples of the roots nad trunk to find out more. I dug up the dead trees - all 6 of them and sent these. Response? None. Not even an acknowledgement that I had returned these - at my expense. I emailed at start September and then again this week. No response to the chain about the dead trees and returning them. I had also forwarded again the email from May as a reminder that those 3 trees were clearly DoA. Bizarrely, I then received a response to just that email - the rest ignored - saying that they establish at different speeds and will bud next year. Hhahhahha hah. After telling me on phone to see if trunk was dead (yes, was dead wood) and then to dig them up and send to them as "samples" to investigate. Good luck budding I spring! As a note, my only previous purchase from the company was 4 trees in about 2015, all of which failed. Tho I thought maybe I had done wrong, so I did not persue this. Now, I think not. Experience with the one other provider I used for orchard when I notified them that one tree had failed: we've ordered a new one for you, you'll receive it in November. Such a shame about the poor customer service and dead trees, as all else is so promising. They have 2 stars for the healthy products delivered swiftly - they could have learnt 5 if the customer experience on the faulty items had been good and if they had sent healthy replacements in a timely manner

Ordered strawberries which didn't arrive. Yes we received a prompt credit but the whole customer service process is archaic. Telephone calls are not answered. No email confirmation. And ought of stock product advertised as available.

I ordered 3 gooseberry bushes and 2 currant bushes, all as bare too plants. The delivery was fine, they arrived in November and planted up into the prepared bed. In the spring, it took a while (with the cold spring) for the plants to shoot. It became evident that one of the five plants was dead, no shoots, leaves or anything. i waited another couple of months, and sent a photo of the bed, also showing the 'live' plants, and stated that that gooseberry in question must have been dead on delivery. I asked for a refund or a replacement. But Chris Bowers said that because I had not reported the faulty plant immediately, they would not do anything! Rather difficult to tell if a bare root plant is live or dead!!
