ordered 4 trees I got 2. phone is never answered. I wish I would of known

Awful company. Customer always right? Gone are those days with this company. I’ve written to them over two failed fruit trees ordered earlier this year and sending customer reference number, and just receive a pedantic and rude reply. My husband is a head gardener on a large Estate in Hampshire with many years of gardening experience. He is disgusted with their produce and the so called customer service. Please shop elsewhere. I wish I had. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Extremely rude customer service. A polite enquiry concerning a missing item has led to a whole series of rude and tense exchanges. Willing to hide behind terse email exchanges but seem unable to be contactable over the phone. I would not recommend trading with this company. Ever.

Ordered 4 difrent Blackberries , all 4 were the same and STILL waiting for a respose ! 3 Raspberries and not 1 true to what was ordered ! 6 friut trees 5 years ago and still waiting for friut ! I am 70 years old and trusted these crooks , they have robbed me of those years which I can never get back ! I've no dought that there will be a housing estate going up soon at the expence of us trusting mugs !!

Ordered a large quantity of Strawberry plants that never arrived and despite numerous phone messages and emails, 2 years later no reply and no plants :(

I've odered from this place several times, and unfortunately the most recent will be the last. The products are perfectly good, but whoever runs the customer service really enjoys taking their bad days out on customers. I tried to confirm what root stock some trees I had ordered were on, and they lied to me, so that I couldn't cancel the order before they arrived. When the wrong trees arrived, I waited 2 days for the rudest reply I think I've ever had direct from a company. Nothing about my emails was rude, but whoever replied must be having a very bad day, because they were essentially taunting me and calling me simple. Obviously I won't be buying from here again! I really wish I'd read reviews before buying, because clearly someone at this company needs to have customer service responsibilities taken away.

Phoned and placed my order as I needed it sent to a different location and despite being very clear they sent it to the wrong address. Didn’t answer multiple emails or numerous calls to address the issue. I wish I had read others reviews prior to ordering

My order was sent to the wrong country. Chris Bowers refused to accept fault, refused to send replacements and refused to refund. Had to get my money back through visa in the end. I will never buy from them again

The 4' tree we ordered arrived as a 2' stick with virtually no rootball. We have tried contacting the company for a refund but no answer. Very disappointing experience.

I purchased two plum trees (different varieties) and in the year after planting one produced a few flowers and thenthe leaves turned brown. I emailed Bowers for advice and three months later I’m still waiting. I wish that I had read these reviews before ordering. This company does not deserve to be in business. And as for five star reviews, I can’t see how these can be genuine.

Apple tree on M26 rootstock, I don't think so. God alone knows what this twig is. Barely any roots at all and just an apple twig rooted(barely) in some compost, no graft at all. I've wasted enough time on these scammers, where are the trading standards officers? Thank the Lord I didn't spend too much with them.

Money grabbing scam! Ordered trees for father's Christmas 2020. Like others, promised delivery time and time again. Poor dad dug holes on his allotment in preparation, then later had to fill in again when it was clear they wouldn't turn up in time. Finally got an email reply mid March from a Brenda saying DHL would be delivering that week. Yeah right! Dad dug his holes again, but trees never arrived, so he filled them in yet again. I did a scathing review on trust pilot. My seventh email was one threatening legal action, upon which I got a snotty reply saying "hope that made you feel better trying to make us look bad". I replied "why yes, I do feel better thanks. Shame I had to do it really. Read the reviews on Trust pilot. Either sort yourselves out or shut down". Got told a refund was on its way, which I did get, but I know others are still waiting. Don't give them a penny. They take your money and you get nothing in return. In my book, that's theft.

Ordered a variety of bare root Soft Fruit plants in September 2020 - these were promised before Xmas - I chased when they didn't arrive and received a reply saying there were delays in despatch, a month later I chased again and was they would be despatched soon and 3 weeks later that the plants they had were poor quality, but better ones would be available soon. At this point it was March and bare root plants were coming out of dormancy so I asked for the order to be cancelled and to be refunded - no answer. I sent two further emails again requesting a refund without getting a reply and it was only when I then raised the matter with my credit card company that I found out they had refunded me a couple of days earlier without telling me. Very poor customer service especially considering the great service and plants I received from their competitors over the same time period.

Ordered in april 2020. Delivery failed yo appear and noticed a refund to my bank but no explanation given. Went on website is where there was an explanation about folks contracting covid so i let it go as an anomaly. I ordered £90 worth again early August to when website was taking orders. They said delivery october 2020. I still dont have the plants and delivery of has been pushed back 3 times. I've emailed twice asking for refund and havent got my money back yet.

Where are my strawberry plants?? I have emailed three times now and until I saw the other reviews assumed you’d gone bust! Annoyingly no plants and no explanation and no refund. Can I please have my money back?!

Where do I start! Ordered crab apple trees from him last October. Still haven't arrived and not expecting to get them. Completely ignores emails, asked for refund several times to no avail. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. How he still has the gall to be still trading is beyond me. He's taken my money, over £200 and not produced the good. Please avoid using them. They are scaming people and I am taking the matter further to get my money back, through the court, press and watch dog etc. I would give no stars if possible.

Over a year to deliver a small order of strawberries and raspberry canes. In July 2020 offered 2 compensatory fruit bushes to wait for delivery until autumn, or refund. I said I would wait, understanding that COVID had caught people on the hop. Contacted the company at least twice in autumn, and then in winter when I was informed that "everyone" had received a text about their orders. Everyone except me it seems. After contacting them again in March my delivery finally arrived and the plants were fine. But no apology, and no compensatory fruit bushes. After 3 ignored emails I am resorting to the internet to voice my frustration. Atrocious service, and unacceptable delays. If you can't fulfill an order within a growing season, don't leave customers hanging.

Ordered £200 trees etc November 2020, chased the order several times and was given various COVID related excuses. Promised delivery by end of March, still nothing! They’re not even responding to my emails now for full refund.
