“I have never received such a well packaged tree before, wrapped in plastic, then packed in straw, then bagged in triple layer potato sacks. The branches were tied upright to the trunk with soft cord, well watered and have repotted it in larger pot as staying in pot til next year. Excellent service, I have bought other items over the years, all great quality.”

“The journey that commenced as a hopeful investment opportunity took a sharp turn towards devastation, resulting in a loss of $97,100. “My bare rooted plant was dead. Sent a polite message explaining. Got a very rude reply indicating that it was my fault. I asked for a refund but was ignored. Very rude and will never use again”

“Ordered 4 trees based on the reviews for this company. The ones ordered should have been 120-150cm, 12-18 months old, however, one arrived that was not even 90cm including the root ball. Another one had hardly any root ball on it. No way were these 12-18 months old!! Requested a partial refund which I was told had been completed, 11 days ago. Still has not been received and follow up email ignored. Poor customer service, poor products. Buy from a garden centre where you can actually see what you are getting.”

“I ordered two fruit trees from Chris Bowers last year. Both came safely and perfectly packaged I was a little concerned about the plum tree so emailed for advice. I had a reply from Gemma almost immediately with sound suggestions This year both trees are beautifully in bloom and growing well A couple of days ago I again emailed Gemma for advice and again my reply was almost immediate If anyone is thinking of ordering fruit trees I can wholeheartedly recommend Chris Bowers. Beautiful trees and continuous advice at the drop of a hat. Who could ask for more?”

“An excellent choice of options, well explained on website - lovely to be able to select trees so specifically. Prompt delivery with everything in good condition and roots all well protected and still moist despite a journey to the ends of Scotland. In polycrub raised beds 10 days and already seeing some green shoots. Looking forward to future harvests.”
