“When buying shoes, in particular, guidance should more clear with respect to how sizes run (for example, a size 10 in Italy is not the same as a size 10 in US). Secondly, the exchange policy you offer is too strict for American consumers. Just take a cue from the majority of retailers in the US...most offer 30 days return policies (minimum) and even lengthier periods for exchanges/credit. Lastly, your stringent return policy should be printed on the customer's email receipt upon purchase, not lost in the fine print of "terms and conditions".”

“DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. I wish I have done my research. I order a YSL handbag 8 days ago. Still not receiving it. I tried emails / calls no one response to me whatsoever. The tracking number they provide automatically via email shows my order has been return back to shipper. I’m traveling at the moment and leaving the current address in 3 days. I sent them multiple urgent email to explain my situation no one cares. What’s going on? When you pay so much money you really expect to at least have decent customers service. Their website says respond to your email within 24 hours- LIE. Delivery date -LIE. Basically if you buy something, no matter what happens they will not give you any answer or solution. You are on your own and pray you are loosing your money over nothing.”

“I received an email welcoming me to Farfetch and thanking me for creating an account. I’ve never heard of this place and I didn’t sign up for it. I’m wondering now how they received my email address. I thought I was being spammed so I looked them up and found all of these complaints. I’m sure, now, that I am being spammed.”

“They keep cancelling my order for god knows what reason !!!!! Unbelievable and then it takes a LIFETIME to get your money back. Save your money and time”

“I bought a Bottega Veneta loop handbag that was too small to fit my phone and poor quality (the leather was peeling) so I promptly requested a return and sent it back. A few weeks passed and I never got my money back. I contacted Farfetch and AFTER A FEW WEEKS of keeping the item they found a damage on it and refused my return! Apparently it was shipped by some small boutique in Italy not a BV warehouse directly that I wasn't aware of! The attached photo is the boutique evidence, they circled a half of the bag as "damaged" and sent that to Farfetch to SCAM me. Fortunately I took a photo of the bag after I received it and it has the same defect (peeling leather paint) they accused me of! Currently in the dispute process with my bank, fighting to get my money back. STAY AWAY”

“The return process is TERRIBLE and PAINFUL! DHL and their website both showed the return was delivered and received but no further action has been processed! Called and Emailed for 3 weeks now and they always told me they are investigating and would contact me if there is an update!! Feel like I have been ripped off.”

“This website is a scam. I bought an item cost me almost $1500. All I get is a box with the cover or the bag and the receipt. When I tried to contact them for the missing product and get a reply that they also did the packaging process right and they can check that nothing wrong with the delivery so nothing they could do. They just send you an empty box with cost you nearly $1500. it's really a terrible thief.”

“Absolutely terrible customer service - I bought a product in March at a cost of £2,500. I'm still waiting on a refund and they now tell me that the goods have never been returned to them. Do not use this company, they are so BAD.”

“Disgusting service, think very hard about buying any item you have not tried on first as they are full of excuses as to why you cannot exchange or return it. I'd expect a lot more from a business bearing in mind the amount of money I spent on my wife's anniversary present.”

“They had to cancel my first order because of security reasons? Managed to order a second time, T Shirt came and was just fine but still no refunded money from my first order , On 2nd of May they said UP TO 14 days for the refunded money to appear in my account, its been 18 days - contacted my payment provider - they told me no such transaction exists :D fckn liars never ordering again, still waiting for my 200EUR”

“Awful customer service !!! received a package that was tampered with from farfetch.. contacted DHL and Farfetch and apparently DHL claims that there were no contents in the box from the original facility. (I have an email grom DHL, that attests to that, which I forwarded to Farfetch) Apparently not a good reason, and because someone at Farfetch customer service decided that this is not a valid reason for refund, they apparently cannot reverse the descision.. not even management!??). I am not trying to reverse the Death Penalty, just a descision made by an inefficient, inexperienced staff member. Don’t waste your time and money.. go to the luxury store, and have the full luxury experience…”

“I ordered a Marc jacobs tote. It is so obviously a fake. It stinks of plastic and the zippers for one are absolutely not what is normally used in a Marc jacobs product. So disappointed and I at least don’t want other people falling for this. And there is an internal tag saying made in viet nam and made of polyurethane!!”

“I do not recommend ordering from this company. Poor customer service. They will not accept your return even if it is within the window stated on their policy. They sent me a wrong label for returning a few items from an order of more than $1,700 dollars. Even though they acknowledge it was within the window they do not honor it and I couldn't do the return.”

“I ordered several pairs of designer shoes from Farfetch. I wanted to return most of them and it took a few days and phone calls to get the return label. Today, I heard they are not going to refund my money for a pair of shoes because they are damaged. They are not damaged. I tried them on and put them in the box. I did not wear them. I am still waiting for the refund of other pairs and it has been about a month since I returned them. NEVER BUY FROM FARFETCH. Buy designer clothes and shoes from a reputable site like Nordstrom, Saks or Neiman Marcus!”

“This appears to be a fraudulent company, not only to the basic returns or cancellation policy mislead the customer but they indicate forms that need to be filled with no link to download the forms whatsover. I ordered a surprise gift for my wife and due to change of mind I sought cancellation a few hours later, to my horror the customer rep replied that the order was already processed and they cant cancel it despite it being barely 2 hours since I cancelled my order. When I followed-up they refused to grant even another reply to work out any options. Buyers beware a company that makes it so hard to reach them after taking your money is shady for a reason.”

“PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS SITE!! I ordered 3 items from Farfetch and had issues with each one of them. The items purchased were supposed to be brand new since I paid full price. They came to me in used condition. scratch marks on all 3 bags! Customer service is terrible. They don’t support their customers. Returns are painful and difficult. Never purchasing from them again!!”

“Horrible customer service. Do NOT use this site if you need your order! They cancelled my order 3 times.... I provided verification, called, did everything but give them my 1st born and still cancelled. I wasted so much time with them and now have only one week to find something. Would never recommend them!”
