FibreGlassDirect is an online shop which supplies quality, fibreglass raw materials to the UK and Ireland. We are based in Leeds, West Yorkshire and our Head Office is in Newry, Northern Ireland.
We have been online since 2009 but have over 60 years of experience as part of the Tricel Group.
We offer an extensive range of resins, topcoats, gelcoats and ancillaries for a wide range of industries. Some of our key supplies are used for Fibreglass Flat Roofing, Fibreglass Ponds, Boat Repairs and Castings for Decorative Items.

I made an order on 26Feb, I recieved no confirmation of order, I rang on 1st March could only get answer machine, I left a message, no response from that ,part of order arrived 2ndMarch I rang 3rd March about missing trims they arrived later,I waited for the trims but they arrived late ,I had rearranged my day to accept them but had to go,on my return I inspected the trims ,they were so badly damaged they are useless,I rang again and got to speak to an operator, told him my problem more trims sent, again waiting delivery! Another day wasted , not a happy chappie!!!

I have not been able to use the product yet as it only comes with enough catalyst to be used during the summer months or in a heated interior. More information on the curing times at various temperatures and catalyst contents would have been useful, as I have had from other suppliers. They also supplied sufficient catalyst for use in some of the colder months.

On the whole FibreGlassDirect offer good prices and fast delivery - most of the time the product is exactly as stated. Unfortunately my last two orders have contained factory imperfections which is a real shame.

The reason I chose this company was due to location close to home, assuming quick delivery & care. The fibre edging had clearly been dropped. All 4x pieces were damaged 3/4 of the way along. Thankfully, I was able to work around this. From order Tues morn, delivery arrived Fri morn, which was charged for. I also looked (in hindsight) at other companies, following this, I could've gotten the same parts equally as competitively priced, with 'free - next day delivery'. Not impressed at all.

While we did place an order with FibreGlass Direct on the 15th of July, we haven't received it yet. I have contacted the company several times about tracking our order but have not yet received any reply. So it's hard to rate this company as we haven't seen the products yet. Denise, one of their online assistants, was very obliging but I haven't been able to get back in touch with her.

My order was out for delivery on the van 10 days ago. Constantly trying to contact courier, no response. 1wk ago you MD sent me a message to say it would be chased up the very next day since then, no response. I think I have emailed 3 times since then and surprise surprise, no response. Whilst I blame XDP for failed delivery, your customer service is rubbish. You are saying couriers are affected by COVID-19 this I understand but when it’s on the van and only 2 stops away it’s the driver at fault. Once again, your customer service it dreadful

Almost impossible to contact them, don’t answer the phone, live chat is hit and miss, no response to emails. Items arrived and were ok quality, I had a small delivery issue, which resolved itself. I’m glad I didn’t encounter bigger issues as it would have been impossible to resolve. Ok product, ok delivery speed, worst business communication I’ve encountered.
