FibreGlassDirect is an online shop which supplies quality, fibreglass raw materials to the UK and Ireland. We are based in Leeds, West Yorkshire and our Head Office is in Newry, Northern Ireland.
We have been online since 2009 but have over 60 years of experience as part of the Tricel Group.
We offer an extensive range of resins, topcoats, gelcoats and ancillaries for a wide range of industries. Some of our key supplies are used for Fibreglass Flat Roofing, Fibreglass Ponds, Boat Repairs and Castings for Decorative Items.

“Price is good, but. The little measuring vessel was smashed to bits, and the mixing vessel was bent. I emailed them just to tell them, and haven't heard anything. Also nowhere does it tell me the mixing proportions.”

“Great service, a few conflicting pieces of information between your website and u-tube videos. When ordering, your descriptions of roof kits is unclear, but I think I got what I needed. When ordering online, items do seem to drop off the order, I find myself two items short. My own fault for not being attentive to the final checkout”

“All seems to have arrived and I am sure the products will be good, I received no communication at all, no email, no call, no invoice. The product arrived in 2 different shipments, I phoned as thought I was missing part of my order (no communication received) and had a very pleasant polite explanation”

“Delivery was quick.Product itself was out of date and just about usable.Not happy at all.”

“Fast delivery.Regretfully product supplied was out of date,both tins had a thick film of dried out material which I had to throw away. Remaining content was still very thick and with dry blobs,so I couldn't get good finish.Out of date materials should be sold at half or fraction of price and customer should know about what to expect. Not happy at all.”

“I have ordered 50m kit, need to buy another tin of resin as we short of 15sqm. It happened second time. Bear it in mind that you might need more then they said.”

“Initial order came which was fine but with trim very damaged! Emailed immediately and never received a response. So used live chat and supplied my Email address again never received a response. After picking up a new trim from a local roofing supplier on Monday received the replacement trim today ( Wednesday ) which will be going on the skip!!! In future check the progress of the order before sending me your only Email asking for a review!”

“Sorry it's a low score, but two relatively unimportant items missing from the order, the long profiles were delivered correctly to the right address, but the palletised delivery went to the wrong address on the other side of the town; happily the recipient telephoned us and we were able to collect it.”

“Delivery disappointing - still waiting, driver claimed he got abuse about the size of his lorrry so went away, first lorry driver I have heard of that took any notice, large lorries come down the street regularly and stop in the middle of the road to deliver, I don't understand why this driver - if he did come did not do the same.”

“Unfortunately the packaging seemed inadequate. It arrived damaged although all components were present, the topcoat tin was badly domaged. Fortunately not punctured so no problem but with the amount of deformity in the tin, I think that was more a case of good luck!”

“Unfortunately your packaging department crushed my trim when wrapping up, tape was pulled far to tight. I did not notice until I had removed the old roof, this left me with quite a problem of sourcing another peice witch I could not do for a further two days as the job was in a different city to where I live. I had to leave my client with a open bay window roof for two days. Due to unnecessary inconvenience. Plus the additional expense of buying and collecting more trim.”
