We have been online since 2009 but have over 60 years of experience as part of the Tricel Group.

Ordered 3kg of freefix paste, very expensive postage charge and took 6 days to get to Lancashire. Tub came with no labelling which breaches health & safety regs

I was quite surprise that after actually ordering from you twice that there was no technical data sheet or coshh document with the materials purchased. I am a new user of this material and have had to do a lot of research. Luckily i am a Health and Safety professional and was very wary of it in the first place. Also probably just me but i am having some bad results with the projects i have been attempting although trying to follow the instructions on ratio from the tub and i have been using digital scales to measure and the other method of precision measuring with quality graduated cups and syringes. Results have had cracking bad shrinkage from the sides and bits just not setting even after very thorough mixing and even between two pots. Biggest issue is the amount of air bubbles no matter how slow or fast you mix the resin. And tips or instructions would be very much appreciated.

I ordered a 10m2 roof kit. It arrived without any instructions at all. The top coat had no data on catalyst ratios. Based on other suppliers' web data the kit had far too much catalyst. I didn't measure the matting, but the roof had less than 10m2 of decking, yet I ran out of matting. I'd prefer to pay a bit more and get a properly documented kit with a realistic amount of materials to cover the area advertised.

I did receive the fiberglass that I asked for but for some reason I expected it to be on a roll and not folded into a box. There were several snags that I noticed whilst putting it onto my roll but it is still usable.

Good standard of materials however my drip trays were missing and I have had to purchase some again locally to get the roof done.

The product arrived quickly and appears to be working as expected. However I was very disappointed that there was no measuring device for the catalyst. Fortunately I still had a measuring syringe from a resin kit I ordered several years ago which I have been able to use. Was this left out by accident or do you not supply which in my opinion is a definite deterent to ordering from you again. Sad as I was given helpful advice from Sean before ordering.

A mixed review. The roofing arrived quickly, earlier than expected, however the delivery firm left the package upside down and the 5kg resin tub had leaked inside the box and over the instructions. The package did not contain disposable gloves or stirring sticks and the wall fillet roofing trim was broken at one end. This was for a low pitched porch roof. As an experienced DIYer it was more difficult than expected due to the pitch, but the finish is good and I’m satisfied with the result.

Folded the fiber glass matting, not good as it’s ruined the weave of the fabric reducing strength. In future they need to deliver on a roll.

Website good and easy to understand, service good. Courier Rubbish, the delivery address was the Boatyard Cholmley way, and there is a massive yacht at the roadside within 10ft of where the driver has passed, and he did not see it. He did have the common sense to ring the phone number and made the delivery. But then we get an email from XDP saying sorry we missed you, please reschedule your delivery, but we dont know at this stage who the parcel is off or what it is, until going through the whole procedure, only to find we have already got it!

Whilst I am very happy with fibreglass direct, I am very disappointed with the delivery service being used. Pallet line were great, delivered day after despatch. XPD are rubbish, picked up the day after which was Wednesday, I received a text on Monday morning to say delivery would be in afternoon. No show and tracking still shows no update from then. Waited in for 2 whole days now, no reply from my enquiry, so no idea when or off it is going to arrive. Cowboys. I won’t order from here again if they still use XPD

Great products and price let down by cheapskate courier. Order dispatched quickly and correctly but courier failed to deliver on day promised. No way of phoning courier to find out what’s going on and emails from me and supplier not answered. Online status not updated and delivery came three days late with no communication. Get yourselves a new courier

The goods ordered were received in a timely manner,however, one of the two containers of topcoat was badly damaged. Still useable,however,if you were in the depot collecting the goods yourself,you would reject it.

Have used FibreGlass Direct before and been happy. A little disappointed this time round. Item missing on first delivery. Have since received missing item (Topcoat), but still had the catalyst for this item not in package. Contacting Fibreglass Direct seemed to be difficult to get a person on the phone. All saying that once I had spoken to someone the issue was dealt with quickly and email queries
