FibreGlassDirect is an online shop which supplies quality, fibreglass raw materials to the UK and Ireland. We are based in Leeds, West Yorkshire and our Head Office is in Newry, Northern Ireland.
We have been online since 2009 but have over 60 years of experience as part of the Tricel Group.
We offer an extensive range of resins, topcoats, gelcoats and ancillaries for a wide range of industries. Some of our key supplies are used for Fibreglass Flat Roofing, Fibreglass Ponds, Boat Repairs and Castings for Decorative Items.

“I personally would say good not very good. We wasn't told when actual delivery date was which we asked for and was unaware that delivery was in two parts by two different couriers. The delivery note of goods delivered was confusing. It could have been made a lot easier. Eg. Highlighted in first deliver what actual parts were included and what was too follow by a different delivery company. You delivery like your delivery to a building site not actual persons home. We may not have been at home to receive delivery and that would have caused a lot of problems as we live on a busy high street. It's a good job my hubby is a builder and he looked out for a delivery by chance but saying that he understood what you had and had not delivered. However we rang three times and went too answer machine. We emailed and received a quick reply. If we were novices a lot of people wouldn't have understood your delivery note.”

“Fast , efficient, the right price, kept me informed. It just took a little effort to get a VAT invoice. If this was made available to download online like Amazon do or was automatically emailed to the buyer then you would be ticking all my boxes as a customer.”

“The order arrived promptly, thank you. However, the little bottles of catalyst have leaked in their separate bag and all the printed information has dissolved off the bottles. Both the lids were loose, and I can't tell whether they are the same, or whether one is for gel and the other for laminating resin. Please send information about quantity per unit resin for both Gelcoat and laminating resin. Thank you.”

“Great service. Products arrived within the window stated and were easy to use. One small niggle, the packaging could have been a little better, but the issues were probably due to the handling by the carrier. Both the tin of acetone and topcoat were badly dented but did not leak. There was some leaking on the hardener but not enough to diminish the quantity. However, the measuring cup was destroyed. When the package arrived, the box was severely ripped and my initial concern was that the hardener would have fallen out, but everything was still inside. Other than that the product was used successfully and I am very pleased with the result. I will order again.”

“unsure where to begin really. Had a nightmare dealing with Rodney Wilson in their Leeds depot, obnoxious little worm with a chip on his shoulder, but then i had Ruairi Doran from head office fix Rodneys mess up. Rodney stuck the wrong address on my 500 pound order, but Ruairi managed to contact my specific driver and give him dont deliver before calling instruction, remedying the Rodney fcuk up Ruairi Doran - Golden Rodney Wilson - needs sacking On the whole i have to say 4 out of 5. would have been 1 start had Ruairi not fixed it and sorted me a trade account.”

“Fairly good source of most marine resin and glass products at fair price with reliable delivery. Website can take a bit of getting used to with constant advertisements for their fg roofing bundles, but once you get to the product you want it works fairly efficiently.”

“Still need to use the kit, but all arrived quick and looks good quality. However, the parcel was open at the botypm of the box when delivered and it was handed ti me upside down. Seemed everything was still in the box, but will find out over the weekend.”

“I ordered some topcoat online and was emailed to inform me that it was ready for collection the next day. Collected the topcoat which came with the catalyst and measuring pot. Used the topcoat to repair a dinghy deck. The topcoat hardened within and hour and sanded well without clogging the sandpaper. Very happy with the service and topcoat.”
