FibreGlassDirect is an online shop which supplies quality, fibreglass raw materials to the UK and Ireland. We are based in Leeds, West Yorkshire and our Head Office is in Newry, Northern Ireland.
We have been online since 2009 but have over 60 years of experience as part of the Tricel Group.
We offer an extensive range of resins, topcoats, gelcoats and ancillaries for a wide range of industries. Some of our key supplies are used for Fibreglass Flat Roofing, Fibreglass Ponds, Boat Repairs and Castings for Decorative Items.

“Really quick service, only then to mention that would have been helpful is an email stating when delivery coming as I was out at the time the material was delivered, although probably not needed if your on a work site/job”

“I’m in the process of building a raised block koi pond, because costs have spiralled I decided to undertake the fibreglassing myself. After searching suppliers I chose Fibreglass Direct using the online ordering portal, unfortunately although I believed I selected additional essential items aside from the dedicated ’pond’ kit, they weren’t included but were supplied quickly. Subsequently an alternative company quoted everything ordered at a lower rate which has put negative on what would have been a okay experience.”

“delivery got here great was handed over upside down, i have had to put the box out in the shed because of the smell of the chemicals. there is no sign of a spillage but these products need to be better sealed. i am lucky i have space outside for them.”

“Great products and had exactly what I needed for my pond. Had some problems ordering online but a quick phone call sorted it. Arrived to me down on the south coast in 2 days. Very happy with the service.”

“The Kit arrived promptly and the materials were of good quality. The accelerator bottle had leaked (it had been placed in a plastic bag suggesting this has happened before) and some of the content was lost which meant not enough to use all resin and matting. Instructions would have been useful. Easily obtained on line but just brief outline in kit would have saved time”

“Proactive, left a message they got back to me within half an hour. Placed an order online for collection and I got a telephone call the next working day to tell me it was ready for collection. Next day I arrived at 9am and the order was waiting in reception. Very happy with service.”

“Order was dispatched promptly. Reason for 4* instead of 5 is because I feel the postage costs are dramatically higher than they need to be - I was charged £13 to ship a small 1kg tub. I run a business myself and post things on a daily basis - a 1kg small parcel definitely does not cost £13 in postage, no matter which courier you use.”
