I took out a new contract with ID mobile via Currys'. I had paid an early cancellation fee on my previous provider to move. Within one week of having the new plan I had to ring ID mobile about lack of coverage. Their complaints line (who were the only people I was able to actually get through to) advised me that due to KNOWN LONGTERM connection issues in my area (central Belfast) I was advised to return my equipment and cancel my contract. I did so with Currys, who were of zero help at all and directed my complaints back to ID Mobile, who tbh just basically shrugged their shoulders and couldn't explain why they were knowingly selling a product that was not up to standard. As it stands today, my two week run with ID mobile cost me an early get out fee with my previous supplier as well as the cost of the phone cover, etc that I had bought for the new equipment. I can honestly that that I would NOT recommend anyone use this company and tbh I would second guess ever going back to Currys' for mobile phone queries as they just push you back to the provider network.

I am appalled at how iD mobile treats their customers. I signed up 5 days ago and am enraged by the lack of help, support, sense and service. I had no idea that, unlike most other providers, iD mobile has no contract with Switzerland. So I arrived there unable to use data roaming even though all my settings were correct, roaming swithche on, tons of data available in my plan, very high bill cap. When I raised the issue, I hit my head against a wall of bots. Even the socalled agent I was later connected with spouted off standard answers that got me nowhere. Plus the whole chat was taking ages and ages, after queuing for 30 minutes. Even the complaint procedure asked for a 89-minute-waiting time. I am pulling my hair out for signing up with that useless lot.

terrible company,I would not use this company.Stay clear,no human contact Ai,will not easily let you cancel,even when your contract is up.corrupt.

Id network please wake up? Can’t get hold of you no one to speak to no help. You’re just on your own trying to solve your own problem which is not our problem. It’s the Ideal network problem and they won’t help at all or give you an honest answer why the network fails from the last two months my signal has dropped and pops up now and then very inconsistent so I don’t see they should accept what they’re charging us. It’s just a rip-off don’t keep telling us it’s our problem. Switch the phone on switch the phone off it doesn’t work change. The Sim doesn’t work is the network and you’re not telling us why all I can suggest is get it fixed you’re gonna lose a lot of customers. 🤦‍♂️

I have been experiencing connectivity issues in my flat, with poor 4G reception. Despite the network provider’s website indicating no coverage problems in my area, the issue persists. After contacting customer support, I was advised to replace my SIM card. I did so at my nearest Currys, but the problem remains unresolved. Upon further contact, they insist there are no network issues in my area. Interestingly, other network providers show both indoor and outdoor coverage quality, while this provider only shows ‘no network issues.

ID mobile is WORST at all I bought a device samsung s24 with data plan after one month my finger print is not working, I am unable to charge it with wire, It's getting hot while using and charging and some other issues as well ITS WORST WORST WORST WORST COMPANY CHEATING INNOCENT PEOPLE

Contrary to the many poor reviews, I have to say I have been very pleased with ID Mobile and my very competitive contract price. Cancellation policy is quite clearly shown on the app and web site. However, customers should remember that the price level reflects a company that clearly caters for customers that want minimum service. A year after joining I Mobile, I set up a SIM pay monthly for my wife when her contract with another provider ran out and the monthly cost was cheaper than her previous one

Awful company. Been desperately trying to 'give notice' on a contract that actually ended some time ago but can't. For context you have remember a particular pin number otherwise you're screwed! My son was 12 at the time, now 18, managed to forget the pin. So do a thing. I've written numerous letters to head office & the PO box address, have I had a response to all my letters!? Nope!!!! Plain ignorant imo, so currently stuck with a phone that isn't even used because the service is so crap If anyone has any advice on how to cancel or speak to an actual human within this joke of a company, my gratitude would be endless. If I could score zero stars here, I would!!

Me and my daughter upgraded our phones to A54 in December 2023. In July/August 2024 I received an offer to upgrade again. As mobile data had been intermittent at best I decided to take the offer and upgrade to an A55. My daughter contacted ID customer service to ask why she didn’t get an upgrade and it seems that by mistake I had signed up for a new contract and I’ve been paying for 2 accounts ever since, one account for a number I know nothing about. I accept I should have checked my bank account more carefully but when I login to my ID account it shows the number I have always used and just one bill for each month. The upshot is that I have had to send back the A55 and buy another phone as I have sold the A54. The 2 accounts are hopefully being merged into one although having made numerous phone calls, live chat and emails, and getting different information each time I don’t have much hope. To add insult to injury, when I logged into my account this morning, a message flashed up asking if I would like an upgrade!!!

Calls always drop out. No Internet signal, even in areas like city centre. Locked in for 20 months (crying face)

Abysmal service, network goes down, no notification from them and trying to contact them is like pulling teeth, just go round in circles with the chatbot. Don't go near them

Terrible: I have 3 phone contracts with them and cannot access them because the app doesn't work properly. No option to speak to an adviser, AI cannot help
