“If zero stars was an option that's what it would be! Appalling customer service! We received food that was not fit for consumption. Metallic taste and a foreign non edible substance through the food. Requested a refund as per their terms and conditions, with pictures ect, and got nothing but copy and paste responses, with a flat refusal to refund, in contravention to their own blerb on terms and conditions and their obligations to the customer using their platform, therefore making ridiculous platform fees completely redundant. I've been a customer for years, but following this I have Deleted my account, and will use an alternative platform, as hate to break it to you JE your not the only player in town, and the others seem to value their customers.”

“I applied for a refund after my order was not delivered to my hotel in Stratford, East London. The driver messaged me to say the road was blocked and did not know what to do, and I asked him to call me but he did not. Another driver delivering to the hotel offered to help and speak to my driver, but my driver did not call me.The delivered notification then appeared on the order, but no food was delivered. Just Eat's response was this: "The courier delivering your order made several attempts to contact you before leaving your order in a safe place. This means we won’t be able to process a refund." 1) He did not call me as requested 2) He did not leave my order in a safe place. If he left my order somewhere, it was nowhere near the entrance of the hotel. Before making this order, I had made several orders with the company, and yet this was not taken into consideration when dealing with my complaint. I will never use Just Eat again.”

“I ordered through just eat and the order did not arrive. I requested a full refund and sent screen shots of the tracker of the location ( different street) where it was delivered to. I asked them how this happened and why the driver did not request the code. Just eat informed that they will not issue a refund as the food was left in a safe place !!!!”

“Just Eat, just don't bother, there are many other options for food delivery now. Received a small percentage of a large Pizza order due to a Just Eat mix up. Restaurant tried to sort it out but couldn't get assistance from Just Eat. Tried for weeks to get a refund from Just Eat only to be to be told after many emails I'd left it to late?”

“Ordered a meal from Greggs through this app the pizza turned up and was burnt to a crisp in edable contacted just eats customer service and declined to help me in this matter utterly disappointed with the service I’ve received will not use again.”

“I ordered food from McDonald's for over £20. When the courier arrived, he had someone else's order in his hand. I told him it wasn't mine and gave it back. About 15-20 minutes later, he returned with my order, but the bag was open, the burgers were unwrapped, the fries were spilled, and everything was extra cold. I contacted Just Eat, and they said they would compensate me with £10. I received an email stating that they had processed the refund and that it would arrive in my account within 5-7 days. It's been 3 weeks, and I still haven't received the refund. When I reached out to them again, they told me that, according to their system, the case is solved. p.s I wish I can give minus 1 star but no options for that.”

“I just raised a case where a restaurant has been misrepresenting dishes and passing pictures off the internet as their own. Just Eat has refused to refund and won’t provide me with the legal reasoning as to why I’m denied a refund”

“The company charges you for a service that doesn't exist. Even the driver, after trying to deliver part of my order, told me it is normal that everything doesn't arrie and that I have to call the company to fix it. They give you money back for some part of the order, but you still have to pay the fees for the delivery...thus pay for people who can't complete their responsibilities.”

“Never received my order from kfc fort kinnard edinburgh. Driver dropped it elsewhere, marked as a delivered. Placed an complaint, in return I received email saying that they not going to provide any refund and they hope that I understand and accept that. That company is complete joke.”

“ordered through Just Eat and it was the worst experience I’ve had with a food delivery service. The food was reheated, off, and completely inedible and after eating only a small amount, both my son and I became ill throughout the night. I contacted Just Eat expecting them to take responsibility but instead, they sent generic, dismissive responses from multiple different agents, refused to investigate and completely ignored the fact that I was reporting a serious food safety issue. Instead of offering a refund for an unsafe meal, they told me to take it up with the FSA myself, completely washing their hands of the situation. Just Eat has no accountability for the quality of the food they facilitate selling, yet they continue profiting from restaurants that do not meet basic food hygiene standards. Avoid at all costs - if you ever get bad food, don’t expect them to help.”
