"Booked online appointment for 10am 28th July (Sunday) and received booking confirmation, however on attendance at the Market St, Aberdeen branch it was closed. Your website and the location itself both advertise opening hours of 10am - 4pm on a Sunday and the booking was accepted. Not happy that I travelled to then find the branch closed. There were 5 other disgruntled customers waiting too."

"I bought two new Avon tyres from here when it was national tyres Halifax, at the time I was offered lifetime guarantee which I bought. The tyres are less than four (-4) years old and have a minimum of 5mm of tread remaining. I recently noticed one of the tyres going down, there was a screw in the centre of the tyre which is repairable, so I visited this place again to have it repaired with my lifetime guarantee. They refused to do the repair because they said they tyres were past their shelf life and had cracks, so I questioned this and said surely the life of the tyre is until it is worn down the the legal limit of 1.6mm? They said no and basically tried to sell me four new tyres at full price, - no discount to the remaining millimetres of tread left, so this so called 'lifetime guarantee' is absolutely pointless to have in my opinion.\r\nI was as it happens thinking of changing my rear tyres purely because they're about six years old but still good really, and also to have the wheel alignment checked\/done as I've had new suspension components fitted. After this experience though, I'll be going somewhere else from now on, I'll never take my car here again.\r\nMy reviews are genuine personal experiences to keep their integrity as I've reviewed quite a few different kinds of places.\r\n\r\n*This tyre has since been confirmed as perfectly fine to be repaired by another qualified technician as the tyre is only showing normal wear and said national tyres were just trying to sell me tyres PHOTO BELOW*"

"National Tyres Greenock Inverclyde \r\n\r\nBeen harrased with emails to leave a review for these jokers.\r\n\r\nBought two new tyres everything was fine.\r\nThe week later I booked an appointment for front wheel alignment and entered a voucher number bringing the price down to \u00a319.99.\r\n\r\nThey next day we took the afternoon off work and took the car into the Greenock shop and were told they were running behind a little. No problem. They took the keys and said someone would phone.\r\n\r\nA couple of hours went past and we received a one ringer phone call from their shops number. When I called back they stated they were unable to do the job as the strut bolts were siezed closed and required the acetylene torch to loosen them.\r\n\r\nThey went on to explain they wouldn't have any gas for the torch until next week. So they were unable to do the job.\r\n\r\nWe took our car around the corner to Dellinburn tyres who immediately put the car on the ramp. Setup the lasers and got the big spanner into the strut bolts. Within five minutes these boys had done the job (tracking\/wheel alignment) and that was including the time the mechanic took to take the car a test drive.. \r\n\r\nNational tyres totally wasted our time simply because they could not be bothered. I'm guessing they had more expensive jobs to do that day and were only getting 20 quid for out job so fobbed us off with a measily excuse."

"Ordered 4 premium tyres at \u00a3600 and fitted on their next available date. They reduced their selling price on the next day for \u00a3510. I wrote to ask if they could look into my order and make the deal fair, no reply at all but charged on my card for the original sum not even a single word of reply after my 2nd email. \r\n\r\nI can\u2019t believe that a company backed by Halfords the customer services could be that indecent. \r\n\r\nSimilarly, Apple offers price guarantee to return the difference within a month if their product is on sale in within. \r\n\r\nBTW, the fitting is also below par, staff were nice and their services were punctual and promising. However, it seems that they did not put sufficient lubricant on the edge of my rims when fitting, edges are scratched a bit, they also used a metal pry bar to remove the original deadweights from inside of the trim causing deep scratch marks nearby.\r\n\r\nAll in all, my experience with National Tyre is unpleasant this time, disappointed to be honest. Won\u2019t recommend or shortlist this company for my other cars."
