" Remember, these great prices are ONLY AVAILABLE ONLINE WHEN BOOKED IN ADVANCE and not in our branches, so order now for our best deals " !! Why is that ? What is the rationale behind this very devious, exploitative practise. I ( and my partner ) have made a point of never using you again. We will also try to persuade family and other people on media sites not to use you either. Charging £ 79.00 for a tyre saying it is the cheapest on offer - but when I checked the website less than an hour later at the same `garage`, there were 5 cheaper tyres… so you use the above as a way to avoid telling passing trade about the cheaper options. Devious, callous practise. I assume it is legal.

National Tryes Leyland If Google would allow me to give ZERO I would!... Absolutely dreadful service from this place today, I wanted my tyre checking as my garage said that it was running low so I went here unfortunately! There were no cars in the actual garage being worked on and little to no cars on the car park. I went in to reception only to be greeted by an empty desk, then from out the back came a very miserable member of staff who said they are busy and if I want anything doing it would have to be 3:30pm onwards, I said to the bloke calmly that I don't need to book in just yet as I would like him to simply nip outside and check the tyre with the potential issue to which he replied (huffing and puffing): “I’m only on my lunch!” Then he grunted asking in a sharp tone “WHICH TYRE!” I pointed and he said “WHERE!?!?” So I replied with “Just forget it” and left Sadly this is not good service at all, there are far better garages with much better service to offer just DON’T USE THIS ONE as they are on lunch and would rather eat their sandwich than assist a client for 2 minutes Dreadful!

Order my Bridgestones 4 tyres on the website.got free life time tyres guarantee. Had a nail stuck on the side of rear tyre . Went to the Chester road stretford branch where I orinally fitted the tyres .told the guy on the counter that I have a lifetime tyres guarantee and I produce the receipt which is clearly written on that life time guarantee .guy was so rude . Didn’t accept the receipt. He hadn’t got a clue what’s guarantee means . Range the custome service they said it is guarantee. Really gutted .

I paid to have my vehicle tracked 4 x wheel allingment, 1st guy had a go , I drove the vehicle pulling , went back they did it again a different guy, pulling again to the left. I was a bit worried incase it was something serious went to a local garage , he sorted it out tracking was not right.a bit shocked as 2x guys had a go and failed but what I would like to say is the guys were polite and helpful. I will never get any of my vehicles tracked etc at National.

Booked in for a service and mot I made the appointment on 9/11/2021 my booking was for 10/1/2022 when I arrived at the branch the manager didn’t have a clue but then told me the mot technician had resigned before Xmas so they couldn’t do the mot but would do the service , a bit pointless in my view so I declined his offer he couldn’t care less that I had traveled down to his depot and I hadn’t been told my appointment had been cancelled. I was leaving the depot and was calling the taxi company to cancel the pick up I had arranged when the manager started shouting I was blocking access to the garage , this wasn’t the case as I had left plenty of room for access he was just being a bully would I recommend National Tyre Aberdeen not in this life time no apology of any kind the manager just couldn’t care less .

Purchased a set of tyres and tracking from tyre shopper with works to be done by National Tyres,Dundee Car was left with National Tyres at 0840 and left car with them after being informed car would not be ready for pick up until after 1040.. I received a call from them at 1045 asking me who last had my wheels of as the key for locking nuts had been ripped.. It was that same National Tyre shop in Dundee that had my tyres of 28 month prior when I got my previous tyre change done hence it was them that ripped the lock nut key and no 1 else as they suggested.. I let it be known when I went to pick car up that I am convinced he attempted taking lock nut of using the air gun and not the tourque bar to which he obviously denied.. Needless to say I cancelled Tyre Shopper order and went elsewhere for getting job done.. I am not letting so called tyre fitters near my car when they can't even take a wheel of costing me £145 plus inconvenience with damage caused...AVOID

Booked tyres through Tyre Shopper and arranged fitting at National Tyres Ashton Under Lyne. Booked for 8:30 Saturday morning and arrived just before. Was the first there and one car on the ramp from Friday. Staff couldn’t tell me when my car would be ready as they were “so busy” and told me it may be a 3 hour wait. Bear in mind, NO OTHER CARS YET ARRIVED. They suggested I rebook for Sunday, as they only had two cars booked in, so I reluctantly agreed. When I arrived on Sunday, they told me it could be a two hour wait. Where else and on what planet does fitting 4 tyres take 2 hours? In the event, it only took them 1 3/4 hours. Result. They are an absolute joke and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. Young lads with no idea about customer service.

Order booked 9 days ago for the morning mobile fitting, no contact to say running late or if there is any issue so I am having to call to see what is going on? The order has a contact number to get in touch with me so they have no excuse. To say they are unable to make contact. First and Last time I will ever use this service. Waste of half a day waiting for something that is not going to happen. Means I am going to have to reschedule other appointments.

Strood Branch, Kent - WOEFUL! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! If I could have given less than 1star I would have done - unbelievably bad customer experience - no hint of customer service - Company Customer Charter is a joke! Took a wheel in for repair advice as it had picked up a screw. Staff member said could not be repaired - he is the expert so ok lets go for a replacement tyre. Tyre required not in stock - he would order it in and it would be there within 48hrs - took all my contact details etc. 48hrs comes and goes no contact so I ring the Branch - delay on receiving the tyre will be there within another 24hrs - 24hrs comes and goes no contact - I spend 3 hrs trying to get through on the phone - phone is never picked up. In the end I take an hour off work to drive over there to see what is happening. No tyre was ever ordered!! No hint of an apology for inconvenience or offer of a remedy - absolutely fuming. Will never use National Tyres again! Staff need retraining or sacking!

They didn’t even turn up after being left for 4 and half hours waiting. No communication, nothing, and was left waiting another 20 mins trying to get through on phone to cancel. Very poor service. Avoid.

Watford branch Really slow service if at all. They claim that everything is delayed due to short of staff but still takes orders. Been told to return at different hours or days, wait for an hour to be attended and sent home without work done. Stay away from this place as it will consume your time and nothing will be done in time. I will give a 0 stars if possible.

I will not be going back to National tyres Had full set of tyres fitted lefto drive to Skegness, traffic was heavy so never got up to 50mph for about 40 miles when I did got a bad vibration thought I'm not turning back now, so carried on at under 50mph next day had to blow passenger front tyre up. Luckily e had both cars at the caravan so didn't use mine for the stay phoned National tyres in Rotherham told me to go their branch in Skegness, but thought no I'm taking it back to where the tyres had been fitted. I drove back at the speed I felt comfortable. Took the car back to Rotherham branch told them about the vibration and the tyre going down they rebalanced the front tyre then told the rim wasn't sealing and I had to have my rim repaired. Didn't strip the tyre to see if there was any problem. I whent away thinking why did he not strip the tyre, so I whent to my local tyre fitter who I would have used but was on holiday at the time. He took the tye off said the rim had not been cleaned. Did the job in 10 mins £10 done no leaks. Thanks National Tyres for abad job done

I was on holiday in Fife and urgently needed two front tyres as they were a bit worn and one had developed a rapidly deflating puncture. I went online and ordered two tyres with National at my nearest branch in Broughty Ferry, Dundee with an appointment to fit them at 10am the next day. I inflated my tyre and drove the 50 minutes to the branch the next day and arrived promptly. On arrival the staff member told me that my tyres had not been delivered in the 10am delivery, I asked when they might arrive and he said ‘anytime up to 5pm’ as I did not want to wait all day I pressed him for a delivery time and he phoned his logistics who eventually answered and informed him they would not arrive until the next day. (I’m glad I never waited for them) I spoke to the logistics person and complained that I had driven for 50 minutes and would have to go back and return the next day, she offered me a discount of £11.30, I explained that it would not cover my petrol, never mind mileage and a lost morning and she conferred with her supervisor but refused to offer anything further. I cancelled to order and got put through to their complaints but they refused to offer me any compensation or discount for my expenses and inconvenience. Luckily I managed to book an appointment with Kwik Fit Dundee within an hour and they fitted my tyres right away, better tyres, better value and much better service, thank goodness for them.

Terrible. I went to them today with request of front wheel alignment. They said, they decided not to do wheel alignment for Honda CRV any more. Reason, this model is causing some problems for them. I can't believe.

After checking on line for prices for 2 tyres and a service I decided to make the booking in person at Grimsby branch as I live only 5 mins away and arrange that both items were done at the same time. Logical and most convenient for all parties. Surprise!!! No do it online or pay an extra £20 per tyre doing it face to face at the branch. Just how stupid is that!!!!. Bigger surprise to you is that I now shall go else where even if I have to pay a little more.

At the beginning of September I went to my local NTA to book my mot.,earliest date available was 16th Sept due to no mot inspector .Went along on the 16th and was told no inspector come back tomorrow which I did ,guess what , no mot inspector . Given the manager the benefit of the doubt I re-booked for the 21st . The day before my mot was due I phoned the garage to check if it was still on . I was told it could not been done at the appointed time { 09:00 } possibly not until 11:00 or 12:00 pm and could I leave the car. I could not do this and I said I would wait . I then had a phone call saying it could be done until the following week. I said forget it I will go elsewhere. In total I drove 26 miles back and forth and wasted a lot of time and money .Needless to say i will not be using NTA again. I have only given a rating of one star because at least the manager tried his best .

Over the past 15 years, we have been using National tyres and have replaced all our tyres with them. Keeping business local is something we take pride in doing. This is particularly relevant to my recent car, which has had 10 tyres replaced within 58k miles (£110 per tyre so a reasonable investment). Our most recent experience suggests, however, that customer retention is not at the heart of the organisation, and they are only interested in making money. As a rule, I have purchased a tyre guarantee and have used it when I experienced a slow puncture. This time on a tyre with 4.5/5mm tread left, so it was a good tyre still. The puncture was on the edge of the wall and could not be repaired. I had anticipated that the tyre would need to be replaced at this point but glad I had the guarantee, so I thought! However to find that in fact the guarantee will only cover 40% of the cost as it is worn was sort of understanable, however then being told it would cost me £110 to replace under the guarantee, when I had only paid £104 for the Bridgestone tyres, left me somewhat surprised. Being told the price is not based on what you paid, but the cost of the list price of the tyre. Therefore, I decided to ask if the cost of replacing the 2 front tyres could be a way of a contribution being used; I was informed that the deal would be based on the internet price( As they cant discount in store tyres lower than the internet). Wow a company that competes with itself.. Therefore, I would lose my 40% contribution, and so in theory I have no guarantee and so just wasted my money. In my opinion, I would not bother purchasing the tyre guarantee service, since it is not worth the paper on which it is printed. In my opinion, you should save your money and go to a different retailer because a tyre is a tyre, and until recently, it was the customer service that had me returning, but now that has been lost... Well done, National Tyres..

National tyres auto Centre Bexleyheath sold me a battery in January 2021 and promised 30,000 starts but what they forgot to mention is that if the battery does not start but needs a recharge then their promise of 30,000 starts is still valid!!! Watch out don't trust a word they say...
