“If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered two pairs of shoes still haven’t gotten the second pair but the first didn’t fit, I tried to return them for store credit and they want to charge $20. So beware before you order I spoke with someone for like 20 minutes before I could finally get them to send me a return label without charging me since it was my first order ever, but I don’t know how they will ever stay in business because who will want to order from somewhere that makes it so difficult”

“I purchased a Tufted Tilt Swivel Chair (Item #20255091). The total purchase price was $161.49. The chair was unimpressive for the cost. The seat wobbled which made it feel very unstable. I expected better quality for the price point. The return of this product was VERY expensive. Overstock kept $56.96 of the purchase price in shipping ($32.74) and "Original Discount" ($24.22). I don't recommend EVER purchasing from Overstock.”

“I am new to Overstock and I will not be ordering from there anymore. I purchased a tree collar and it said it would fit a 6 1/2 foot tree. It wasn’t even close to fitting around the tree when I received it. This past Sunday I ordered two counter stools and was told they would be here by 12/24/21. Three days later on 12/22/21 I get an email saying they won’t be here until 12/28/21. To much of hassle so I’m sticking with Amazon.”

“My delivery date was changed 3 times. The days before, we needed to drive 2 hours to retrieve it. Now we can’t before Christmas. It was my fault not checking the 2000 bad reviews before purchasing.”

“Overstock and their warehouse had dropped the ball so much in this delivery process. I am still waiting to receive the TV stand whole. First the sent just the fireplace. Then they said they lost the actual 80 pound TV stand. When I called them to ask them where it was after the tracking haven't been updated in a week via UPS. They told me they will send me a replacement one because they can't located the one I purchased 1st. So looking up the tracking number "the replacement package" is actually first package they lost. Here is the kicker after waiting two weeks to get a replacement/ same as 1st package. The tools 🔧 aren't inside the box- the tools to put the actually TV stand and fireplace together -so nuts, screw allen key etc are missing from the box. When I called them to send me these tools out they send me an email saying they are on the way come to find out the tracking number is invalid. After all that the company called me to tell ask me WHAT IS THE PART NUMBER OF THE PARTS THAT DIDNT COME INSIDE THE BOX!!!!!”

“Item purchased was third party and they didn’t issue a return label as product was misrepresented.It said Christmas tree was two feet.Tree was 1 and a half foot only . With base made it two feet.Have to return at my expense with tracking.Find another vender to purchase.”

“They offered $20 off any order $300 and DID NOT HONOR IT. I CALLED AND THEY HUNG UP ON ME. DONT ORDER FROM THIS SCAM COMPANY. THEY ARE LIARS AND SCAM ARTISTS. IM REPORTING THEM TO BBB, FTC AND THE STTORNEY GENERAL. RUN FOR YOUR LIVES.”

“Lying company! I submitted a review of my furniture that was delivered broken and with patches filled in. I submitted photos and a review of one star, they denied my review (it also was a paid one for 4.00). However every good review 3-5 stars is approved! That’s because they want you to buy the crappy products!”

“I bought a “Christopher Knight by Havenside Homes” patio table and 2 chairs on Overstock. When they came, they were clearly marked “Walker Edison”. Overstock changes the names of their products so you cannot compare prices at other sites. The exact same Walker Edison table that Overstock sold for $383.99 sells at Walmart for $275. The chairs they sell can also be bought much cheaper other places. I also bought 6 patio dining chairs advertised as Christopher Knight but came labeled clearly as Nobel. This is a dishonest company. Buy elsewhere! ,”

“Overstock says I have 3 items that I purchased. All the same item. I cancelled one so that leaves 2 that will be delivered and I have to return.”

“I purchased 2 mirrors from overstock. They never got delivered. I contacted customers service and they claimed I was past their “time frame window” for opening up a claim. All I wanted was my undelivered items that cost me a lot of money, not open up a complaint. My account showed the items were paid for, and even showed they were waiting for tracking information that was undelivered! I asked fo them to present their policy where it says I had a time frame window and they presented my with a policy on “returnable items”. I had no items to return! When I disputed that with them, they ignored me. As far as I’m concerned, the items stayed in their warehouse and they pocketed my money. Or there is no warehouse and this “company” is nothing but a scam.”

“If I could give zero I would. I ordered a table, first one was damaged and carrier wouldn't deliver it but they didn't tell that to Overstock. Second one was delivered but was also damaged. When they took the second one back they claim it was never picked up and they are refusing to refund me for $1500. Their delivery people do not coordinate with them, they do not know what it going on. Worst customer experience of my entire life not to mention I am out $1500.”

“I have never had an item from Overstock that lasted more than a year. Items are made cheaply: I had a work desk that collapsed in the middle of a Zoom call and the desk was irreparable. Yes, you'll find some cheap items but you'll be spending double to replace it in less than year.”

“Overstock would charge me $29 shipping to return a $31 rug that is such poor quality and doesn't look like the internet pic. I'm stuck with this awful rug! Don't buy from Overstock! Buy from Amazon or Wayfair!”

“A gazebo 14' by 10' ,made out of wood, that sells at home depot and Lowe's for $2000 plus iiiiitttttt was advertised for $89 n Overstock... I put in credit card information and it said it was declined I have a $3000 balance I triple check my information this is a scam website !!!!! I called customer service and it sounded like they were in India literally and didn't understand a single English word i said....my family is DONE with overstock for now forever for good and I will spread the news.... It's like playing the lottery you know you see the jackpot you get your hopes up you get all excited and then bam you're the fool for wasting your money that they won't even let you spend”

“0 stars Leather sofa ordered, paid for May 4, 2021 - $2,215.03 (today is August 27 - over 16 weeks later) Followed up several times on delivery status, told to be patient takes 12 to 16 weeks to manufacture/ship. Checked Overstock website again last week and the sofa description had a new notice "order soon, only six left in stock". Surprised since I had previously been told that each sofa was made only upon receiving an order. Yesterday my PayPal account was credited for purchase amount, but no explanation from Overstock other than "order cancelled" on my account. After a frustrating call to a representative, there really is no explanation other than they cannot fulfill the order. No one from Overstock tried to call, text or contact me, only reason I found out was because my payment went through PayPal. Terrible, nonexistent Customer Service, and no business ethics. Overstock accepted $2,215.03 for merchandise, after over a four month wait, they did not even have the common courtesy to notify me that they could not fulfill their obligation? DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING from Overstock - no respect or appreciation for customers. They do not deserve your business.”
