I have never in my life experienced such a horrific event and horrible customer service. We purchased a wool rug on overstock.com and it came infested with moths! We of course did not realize this at first. This has consumed our lives. We have lost $12,000 worth of items due to the clothes moths as they eat clothes rugs carpets even furniture! I called customer service and they were not even apologetic!!! They said well our rugs can sometimes sit on shelves for months and months and therefore wool rugs can become infested with moths yet they continue to sell them this way!!!! Legit no one has contacted me to right this wrong. Our dry cleaning bill alone cost over $1,000. We had pest companies come and inspect the rug from overstock and they said the amount of larvae in the rug and moths was astonishing. Who is checking this before they ship this to customers. I beg people never ever to purchase anything from this company as they do NOT take responsibility for this in any way shape or form. I have yet to hear form anyone about this. I have lost so many rugs and clothes and are out so much money its beyond stressful. I will never buy anything from them again and I will write these reviews on every single site I can and tell everyone I know unless for some reason someone reaches out and rights this wrong. I am going to be creating a facebook group where I will inform everyone of this company.

Worst on line buying experience I've ever had. Ordered two chairs and only got one. Tried to resolve using chat but wait too long. Tried chat again and after 80 minutes the agent disconnected. Website is useless when trying to solve problems. Emailing customer service appears to take days not hours to get a response and still no resolution. Even tried cancelling order only to get vague information. I only used this site for purchase due to 15% off coupon. I learned, once again, a valuable lesson that you only get what you pay for. Should have paid full price from more reputable retailer. CEO needs to fire executive team as they clearly do nothing to help customers.

first purchase was a year ago, took months to receive item. Now I made the mistake of giving them a second try, and ordered outdoor furniture. Along with the set, I purchased their Club O membership with the impression I would have "hassle free free returns" as this is what came up when I put the furniture in my cart. The set arrived on time, however it is junk. Very hard to put together. I put one chair together and nothing lined up and the screws and tool provided were frustrating to use. The set is short and very uncomfortable. It is impossible for us to get in and out of (were older). So I took the one chair apart and put it all back in the box. When I tried to return the set with the so called "hassle free, free return" I have to pay a label fee, only get inshore credit, and wait to hear from the seller... WHAT?? what happened to this so called membership to avoid this kind of hassle?! I will NEVER do business with Overstock ever again! Amazon has you beat a thousand times over with their customer service, return policy, and quality! I just want what I paid for, free return and my money back!

I ordered a small rug for my patio and used the search bar for "RED" rugs found a lovely red/deep blue and upon arrival it was pinkish and light blue in color. I will not be receiving a remainder of a refund due to them saying colors vary slightly and it is the customer responsibility for color differences!! THANK THE LORD it was a small one and NOT huge in size for a patio accent. WHY would a customer be responsible for color differences on THEIR website and using their search bar - never again will I order anything with color expectations. this is just wrong.

We had issues with delivery and refund. The label was created, but the item was never shipped. It took forever to initiate the refund process, and still waiting for it after 10+ days from the day of purchase. We used Overstock a couple of years ago, and it was completely different experience. It looks the business is in decline now.

POOR QUALITY – OVERSTOOK REFUSES TO SUPPORT IT - We ordered 2 umbrellas on 2/21/2022. We live in Ohio so its just barely springtime here. We placed one umbrella outside to see what it looked like and left it closed. Just opened it and it is severely faded. Overstock refuses to do anything about it because it past the return date. Spoke with a rep via text and she was no help. Terrible customer service and poor-quality product!

No need to go into details of my problems with Overstock order. My story is like others with delivery, quality and refund problems. I am frankly surprised that this Company is still in business. The worst of the worst online merchandise companies I have ever dealt with. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AND SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE. THIS WAS MY FIRST ORDER AND I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN. THIS COMPANY HAS UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES AND SAD TO SAY THEY KNOW IT AND IT IS THEIR NORMAL OPERATING PRACTICES

Overstock delivered damaged 6 futon mattress for same order. When I filed claim with Overstock for same order that includes 6 futon mattress. They told me they’ll refund and dispose after 03/17/22 if carrier doesn’t contact. Weeks later, I haven’t received refund. I contacted them and they refused to refund. This is bait and switch business practice

You cannot see correct color of rugs on Overstock website, so I returned one because of that-cannot see true color AT ALL! That cost me $180 to return the rug after speaking to somebody in the Philippines. Then they sent the wrong color and want to give me only $30 credit for their error! Idiots!

I ordered two items from overstock. The first item I never received. Overstock said that after two day of waiting to file a claim with FedEx.I filed a claim. Contacted overstock and explained FedEx deemed the item lost. Overstock then proceed to tell me that I have to contact the 3rd party vendor who sold the item on their website and of I didn't hear from them within 5 day overstock would refund me. Now overstock is asking can I wait 14 days. The problem is they have already billed me with interest in items I've never received. Poor customer service. The second item came heavily damaged. And screws were.missing. When I wrote a review they denied it because they claimed it was a shipping issue. Lies.

I will give them 2 stars because the product was of good quality. The colors weren't as discribed. It was not matching my other rugs, I returned them, wraped very professional. I had them for two days. The cost of the 2 rugs were 249.00. They refunded 95.00. I am so upset about this. They said it was buyers remorse!!! Just know that they don't really do returns. I made several complaints to them directly. All I got was sorry our product didn't work out. I will tell everyone how unfair they are!!!

Ordered 2 sinks. They were both sent to an old address 3500 miles away. Impossible to get any customer service. uPS tells me to take to a local store. What, you want me to fly to Florida and take them to a UPS store? I had charges reversed on credit card. Never ever order from this website.

We received an incomplete kitchen island table with half the table top missing, and then found ourselves on a nightmare merry-go-round with "customer service" reps who spoke broken English (from the Philippines & India), only to discover the actual "marketplace seller" is in China (Farfar View). This seller asked us (in barely understandable broken English) to take multiple pictures (after we'd already packed it all back up again), asked us to fully assemble it and "perhaps you'll like design of this table." It's a cheap, incomplete product, not worth the cardboard it was shipped in. Overstock.com is headquartered in Utah yet allows its incompetent sellers worldwide to dictate outrageous policies to customers. No oversight, no accountability on their or their sellers' part. It's amazing that these rackets are legal.

If there were 0 stars that's what I'd give them. I have purchased 2 retractable ceiling Fan light fixtures costing over $600. My electrician cannot install them because they are not CSA approved and do not meet Canadian or American electrical standards. We went through all the documentation provided in the packaging and examined the product and found there were no appropriate approval stickers. approval stickers. After contacting customer service they were supposed to verify this with the supplier and never got back to us when they said they would do I called back. Again they are trying to confirm this with the supplier. Meanwhile I am stuck with 2 fixtures that can't be installed. I asked to return them and get a refund. They indicated I would have to pay shipping. Shipping these heavy items will cost me what I paid. In Canada a licensed electrician is not allowed by to install electrical fixtures that are not either CSA approved or American equivalent. Yup. Screwed. I will never buy through Overstock again.

On February 22, 2022 I ordered a marble dining room table and 4 chairs to go with it. Within a week I received the chairs. Overstock promised my table would be delivered between March 1st and March 10th. On March 9th I received a tracking number from the Estes Worldwide Tracking company. They had my table set for delivery on March 9th between 11am and 4pm EST. It never arrived. I called Estes up and they told me it would be delivered March 10th. It still never arrived. I have initiated calls to Overstock telling them about this. I am signed up to receive text updates but never receive anything either text or email. Then Estes Worldwide Tracking showed my table was out for delivery March 14th between 12 and 4pm. By 3:30pm I contacted Estes and was told it was being delivered but the driver was running 40 minutes late. Again, my table wasn’t delivered. I have placed about 10 or 12 calls/texts into Overstock. They tell me, “we opened up a case and escalated it.” We will contact you with updates. Every time you call Overstock, you get people in a foreign call center. Not here in the US. They don’t even speak good English. I have yet to receive any updates from Overstock. You would think they would reach out to their customers and tell them we are going to ship you out a replacement. Or at least call the customer to see what resolution would be best. They hire foreign people over in other countries sitting in a call center. I talked to a person today that told me they couldn’t transfer me to the Overstock Oversize Department. But yet a chat agent told me to call and ask to speak to someone in that department. This is the WORST customer service ever! I called Estes this morning (3/15) and now they tell me my table has been reported as “missing.” Hmm…how does a 247 Lb. Table and base suddenly go missing when you had three scheduled deliveries for it? I think this is a heist myself. Small items go missing but a large marble table and base? Don’t think so. Meanwhile Overstock has charged me on my Overstock Credit card issued by Comenity Bank. I have 18 months deferred interest so the clock has already started ticking on this. Overstock doesn’t have the latest updates and neither does Estes Worldwide Tracking. I have filed complaints with the BBB for both Overstock and Estes Worldwide Tracking. No customer should have to go through this. Will post photos of the tracking info to show you how stupid these people really are!

My wife and I have ordered several items. All of them have been disappointing at best. 1st there is the 800 thread count sheets. They developed knobbies after 2 washes and runs. They were the thinest 800 thread count sheets ever. Felt more like 200. Next a china cabinet list as real solid wood. The plastic was peeling off the door and it was by no means wood. Between those 2 items we spend over 100 on the sheets that I could have paid less at walmart and got better sheets and a china cabinet that clearly was not wood over 250. The final straw is the ceiling fan for 158 that when I ipened it clearly had been opened prior was missing parts. The parts bags were torn open and what parts were there were all over the box. The wired on the fan had burn marks on them and clearly you could see where some one had twisted the wires to try and install it. I'm having to pay to return something they sent me that is clearly defective, missuing parts and is junk. Lesson learned will never do business with overstock again.
