I'm a writer and I write all my first drafts by hand. A writer needs the best tools to work with -- and the National Pen Company makes the best. Their pens are the John Deeres, the Ferraries, the Louisville Sluggers of ballpoints! BUT. Their website's online order CART sucks eggs. I ordered the Paragon model ballpoint with blue ink and multi-colored barrels. What I got instead was pens with black ink and silver barrels. And no backsies. A silver barreled pen is no good because you can't see my imprint, and black ink is no good for signing most legal documents. I'm now being billed for $100.81 for pens that I can't use and didn't order. I called in an order for 500 pens and informed the agent that I had a code for free shipping and handling. She assured me that the discount would be applied to my order. However, it was slipped in and I didn't notice it right away on the approval (I'll own this mistake). I've since talked to two different agents trying to get that removed. They refuse. I can't believe that they will alienate a customer over $50! Apparently they have never heard of "life-time value of a customer." I will NEVER use this company again and I will tell EVERYONE that I know not to use them!

I would give it a zero if there was a choice. Terrible terrible products, service. NEVER ORDER FROM THEM. I ordered car magnets and every single one of them fell off. They will send you a poor product and will not refund you for it. They are in the business of providing poor products and DO NOT care about their customers and will not provide you a refund whatsoever. It's virtually a scam.

I ordered pens, they charged me, and then emailed saying that the pen was not in stock. The email said they would refund the money in 7 days. I ordered the second time, again, the same thing, I ordered the third time and I got my pens. They aren't the pens that I ordered. But I got some. The problem is I have yet to receive my two refunds for the canceled orders. I have called and they promised to have the refund to me, and weeks later, still nothing. This is nothing short of stealing.

We placed an order of pens with this company for our church but never received the shipment of pens. The company continued to contact the church and send statements regarding the balance due. We informed the company numerous times that we did not receive the shipment yet they continued to bill the church and have now turned the church over to a collection agency. Absolutely ridiculous for a company to do such a thing.

I gave this company the benefit of the doubt in spite of the many poor reviews online. Sadly, the company does indeed exhibit horrible customer service. The company’s website contains erroneous and incomplete information. There is no option to reach a customer service representative when you call. After being transferred three times, I finally reached a customer service representative, who spent 15 minutes gathering all of my personal mailing and shipping information. After which time she informed me that I could not order the items in my cart. What a waste of time. And what terrible customer service. Definitely stay away from this company. I am so glad I did not give them any money before learning of their poor customer service and poor business model.

Don't buy from this company. They don't care about you although they claim they do. Quality control is horrible and when there is a problem like 50% of the pens leaking they want them returned for quality control. How, when it is such a mess you toss the pens. They claim they review online orders but I don't agree. I do numbers as a CPA for my profession. The phone # on the pens was so off and I reviewed my order numerous times. Get your pens anywhere but from them!

Ordered pens for business function, they phoned wanting payment, returned call found out pens were shipped to totally wrong city and address and they had my pens and where going to ship them out but it’s already too late. A month later still haven’t gotten my pens and a email stating there was a delay in shipping could be another few weeks.

Bait and switch. Sample pen sent in the mail was a good example. After placing the order, it arrived. Pens were not the quality expected, rough pen points, very little ink and logo is faint. The ink only lasted one day. I recommend spending a little more money with a storefront business and face to face transaction for good customer service. I wish I followed my own advice this time.

I ordered wall calendars and envelopes to send out to my clients. I received the Wall calendars but did not receive the envelopes so I was unable to mail these calendars out to clients as planned. I called and spoke to a customer service rep who worked with me by giving me a discount and sending out some envelopes at no charge. I received the envelopes and they were the wrong size. I was once again disappointed and called the company. I spoke to another representative that was out of the country and I mention this because I feel they haven't been given the authority to approve any discounts or approval to adjust any balance due to $0. They also did not receive clearance to send me the correct item at no charge. I was given a ticket number and was told that it could take up to 48 hours for a supervisor to get in touch with me. I've used this company for several years. I am very dissatisfied with their customer service and resolution dept.

I had two orders with National Pen Company. One was my company pen, which turned out the way I ordered and a notepad which was a disaster: 1. They sent and order different looking from the one I approved 2. Logo quality was not clear 3. Pads were damaged on top (looked like something hard pressed on it, not from shipping) Called them multiple times. (lots of time wasted) Opened several tickets, sent pictures multiple times as "proof" and they are still demanding payment even thought it was discussed we do not have to pay the the invoice. In the email they even threatened to send it to collection and they charging late fees on top?!?

Placed an order in October for a specific event. National Pen couldn't not coordinate with their delivery vendor of choice-UPS to get my items on time. Subsequently event took place without needed items ordered from National Pen. Today....2 months after order date National Pen reaches out offering to send now unnecessary order with a 15% discount. This is unbelievable. I was told by the representative that I wasn't in a good head space to consider their offer.

This company is a SCAM! Do not lose your money with these people. They take your deposit and you will NEVER hear from them again!!! I should have looked at the reviews before I had to call the bank and charge them with FRAUD! STAY AWAY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD!

This company is absurd. I placed an order for over $2,100 in pens. The pens were not packed properly and when the pens were delivered, one box was broken and 216 pens were missing. I contacted Pens.com and was told to take photos of the packaging and tracking info so that they could file a claim with UPS. I did that. Then I waited to get my replacement pens. After calling four times to get them, someone placed an order for the 216 missing pens. After getting the 216 replacement pens, Pens.com started charging for me for the pens. They called me six time to ask me to pay for the pens. I explained over and over again to six different people that these pens were a replacement for the missing pens. Everyone agreed to cancell the bill for the missing pens. This week I got an email stating that they were turning this over to a collection agency for payment. I would never suggest to anyone to make any purchase from Naional Pen. They are totally screwed up and no one knows what they are doing. I am not paying again for the pens I should have gotten in the first place. These pens were paid for when I placed the order. Don't buy from these people or you will regret it! The reviews on thier site or phony.

They must be the SLOWEST COMPANY to ever do business. We ordered and have been waiting for weeks. But of course they charged us the moment the order was placed! Still waiting for our pens! BEWARE!

This company is a total fraud. They charge you EVERY TIME for set up and processing fees, delivery costs are ridiculous. They take advantage of the weak and feeble minded who seem to think they get a good deal. The pens run out of ink in days. Half the time the mechanism to open and close does not work. The bottle openers came apart on first use. And customer service when there is an issue is a joke. They delay and delay and then tell you its past the warranty time. And when you refuse to pay they HARRASS you non stop. Don't be fooled and stay far far away from these crooks.

Have been a long time loyal customer for 5+ years. We were sent our usual annual shipment of custom pens and this batch was a complete mess. They were all falling apart when we opened the box, and would fall to pieces if you grabbed a handful of them. To add to it, they were all in the wrong ink color that we have never ordered before. We had never had a problem before this and quickly learned how cold and unhelpful their customer service is. First of all no one called us back for weeks. When we finally got in touch with them, it was because they were calling to collect an invoice payment. They ultimately refused to help or address the issue because "it had been past our warranty". This is unacceptable as we cannot use the pens since they are very poorly made and we will be going elsewhere for services.

The additional fees add up quickly, setup fees and delivery/handling fee. Ends up as fewer calendars are more expensive than the large calendars in a larger quantity that I normally purchase. So, no savings here. We'll see how it goes. this time.
